This campground is part of the Ottawa National Forest. Our site must have been 100' deep as well as wide and was a pull through. The sites are so large and wooded that we couldn't even see the campsites next to us. Almost all the sites are on the lake. Depending on your elevation you either had a path going to the water, or for the higher sites individual staircases down to the lake. Some of the waterfronts are sandy and others are more rocky. All sites had fire rings and poles (not high enough for bear poles but we used for garbage anyway, and for hanging our lantern at night). Primitive campground, only pit toilets, water pumps and no showers. They have a large group camp area, a beach and a park. No reservations, first come first serve. While the sites are big enough for even the biggest rigs, we did have a lot of branches to contend with on the campground loop. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Scenic park on a nice lake on the border of Michigan (UP) and Wisconsin. Off the beaten path even for the UP. Nice fishing area with docks and rental boats. Campground kept up nicely with some new sites being added. There were only a few pull thrus but we were able to get a 40' 5th and toter in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
