The campground is in a very scenic setting, right on a lake with lots of trees. You can hear the calls of the loons in the early morning. There are no water or sewer hookups, obviously no WiFi or cable TV, and only 30 amp electric, so it's really suited more for primitive camping. They start taking reservations on a specific day in April and it's standing room only from early in the morning. Most of the popular dates book up very quickly. We were visiting family in nearby Maple Lake, so this campground was very convenient. There is nothing else any closer than St. Cloud. We would stay there again if back in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place!! Only drawback is it is very hard to get into. Cool playground right on the beach!! Really big sites. Would be better if they had full hook-ups. Summer months fill up fast. We camped here in a Motorhome.
