This was a quality campground with large solid grassy sites and lots of trees. The campground is nicely cared for. The restrooms and showers were newer and very clean. There are many permanent units but they are well kept and of pleasing appearance. The playground area is equipped with climbing gym, swings, slides and volley ball net. There is a small store and friendly staff. Rainy River Marina is at the campground but not affiliated with it. Several fishing resorts are 2-3 miles away. We were going to spend the night and ended up staying seven days. During the week we had the campground to ourselves. On the weekend the site were all full. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Glad we found this campground after a long day on difficult roads. There is currently a very long stretch of Route 11 that is under total reconstruction and is very difficult to negotiate. Timber Mill Community park was a welcome relief! Very quiet: only 2 other units. The campground abuts a beautiful community park with open spaces and a boat launch. Very nice spot. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The city of Baudette recently added RV sites to this community park. The restrooms and showers are spotless. There is a ball field, sand volleyball court, playground, boat launch to the Rainy River, and fish cleaning house. There is a dump station. There are 2 pull-through sites and the rest are back in. Interior road and sites are sand. Weekly rate is $100. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
