Let me be clear here. If you are looking for a state park to bring your family and hang out for a week in your self contained RV, this might be the place. If you are are like us traveling in a tent trailer it is not. This is a small campground that is swampy when it rains. I somehow missed that there were no water hookups which would not have been a problem if the bathhouse had been good. Unfortunately the floors of the bathhouse were soaking wet during our entire visit. It is as if someone hosed it down and left it. We would not stay here again! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Very nice and quiet. If it's crowded, a big rig might have a problem getting into some sites while negotiating trees but in the fall it is a lovely place and no problem. The water was turned off and the dump closed (Oct 10) but 50 amps was available. Nice prairie walking path nearby. Big fire rings and picnic table. No WiFi and AT&T very weak. RV campgrounds in Fargo, ND were limited so this was a good alternative traveling east. Would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park was very quiet and nicely kept. Lots of recycling options which was really nice to see. Showers were a bit grimey though. There was a nice view of the prairies from our site which made for a great sunset. Would camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
