We camped here in 1997 and it has grown up a LOT. We planned to camp here this 2012 summer but one look told us to move on. We scratched our camper while pulling through the main loop. It is tight and over grown and is only suitable for tents and small trailers. BEWARE, things change! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a real find in this area! Full hookups! We found this by accident after driving through the North Star Campground and being extremely disappointed. Drove on into Marcell to regroup and found this little CG. There is no bath house or restrooms, but there are full hookups! What more do you need? Enjoyed our week here! Overlooks a little wetland area where we watched the wildlife. Managers were very nice, you call them and they come over to register you. There's also an honor system registration box. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
