Since this campground hasn't been reviewed in a while, I thought we'd add our two cents. Sites are mostly level and private. A big 5th wheel might be able to maneuver, but not a big motorhome. Detected no noise from I-35 during our stay. Dust is a big issue, though. Road goes from asphalt to gravel/dirt almost immediately after leaving the office and it's a half mile in to the campground. Most sites seem to have full sun, we were fortunate to get one that is mostly shaded (34E). There is a $7 fee for online reservations plus the $5 per day vehicle fee (waived for tow car). Very nice little exhibit about agate in the office/visitor center. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean and nice campground. Lots of trees and private setting. Not a good place for big rigs or satellite TV. All sites are back-ins. Room for your camper, vehicle, and one or two tents. All shaded at some time during the day. Only noise is from I-35 about a mile away from the campsites. Lots of wildlife to watch. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Great new campground...very private sites and quiet for the most part (slight hum from I-35). There were a lot of trees to hide each site from one another. Great boat access. Our new favorite campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
