The owners were friendly and nice. The campground was clean. Sites with full hookups are basically set up in a field, but the electric/water sites are nicely shaded and spaced apart. The pool was a favorite with the kids. With a bit of building and grounds work, this place could be one of the best private campgrounds in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground was quiet and well maintained. The pool was fairly new at the time that we were there and it was a great place for just a quick quiet retreat. Mosquitos were a bit bad along the river sites but those were the only sites with shade. The open sites next to the pool did not seem to have quiet as bad a mosquito problem but they did not have any shade. This campground definitely isn't fancy but there is a lot of open room for the pets to run and it does border the Cannon River which is great for canoeing and kayaking. Overall, we would go again as staff was friendly and campground was quiet. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
