Great family place with lots to do. 9 hole pitch & putt golf course on property. Walk to good restaurant on Lake Pokegama. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The staff are rude and stuck up. We purchased firewood on our last day and when we went into town to get groceries, management stole the firewood and re-sold it to another camper. I think they thought we were checking out abandoning the wood but we were not. Even if we were, so what? Leave it there for at least an hour or so to be sure. When we called the office to complain, they refused to do anything for us. One other time we stayed there, we arrived in the evening after the office was closed. A sign said to find a spot and register in the morning. Around 7:00 am a large male (staff) began pounding on our door. When we opened our door, he became aggressive and started yelling at us because we were not a registered guest. When we explained that we came in late the night before and followed the signs instructions, he then told us to "GET YOUR ASS" in the office and register NOW!. Guy's lucky I didn't pop him in the face. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wonderful little park to visit. Great for family or Grandkids. Lots of activities. Great outside pool. Attached 3 par Golf Course provides great fun. Access to large lake provides good fishing. Wonderful staff. Fire rings at sites. Firewood available for sale which they deliver to site. This park could be a 10 if required maintenance work for the parking on each site were completed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
RV park is right on a small golf course and close to a large lake. Nice sites and lots of activities if you have children. Not too far off the expressway. Our site did not have a sewer hookup. Dump station by check in area. Some sites might have sewer. Was a good, clean stopover and could be a good destination place for a longer stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Interior roads and some sites need work due to frost heave. We have been here a few times and have found the pull thru sites in the sunny center of the CG to be the most desirable. Too "buggy" in the shaded areas, although these center sites do not have sewer. 9 hole golf course is a fun thing. CG ground is OK...I would have rated it higher if the road/sites were fixed and the bar/restaurant that is walking distance away had not gone out of business. Small pool with lots of kids, although there are scheduled "adult" swim times. On one visit in the past, we were put into a site on the farthest northern perimeter of the CG. One hour later, an old house situated just a couple hundred feet north on the other side of the wood line erupted with loud rock music. Seems like it was a teen beer/rock party that day....we packed up and left. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
