This is a relatively new park with a nice beach on a clean lake. Walnut Grove has an interesting "Little House on the Prairie" museum, dugout house site and special outdoor drama on several weekends in the summer. The park is close to town and well worth a stay if you visit Walnut Grove but it is almost an hour north of I-80. We camped here in a Motorhome.
