We booked this campground while evacuating from Hurricane Gustav; and was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed at our camping stay here. The staff was fantastic; friendly and easy to get along with. The campground has a restaurant with a large screen tv; the staff allowed us to track the storm via tv whenever we needed. I gave the campground a 9 rather than a 10 because the laundry room was dirty; however the machines worked well. Some campers are residents of the park, but you would never know it. We will definitely camp here again. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the extra 10 miles or so. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Athough located about 10 miles outside of Brandon it is very much worth the extra miles. Beautiful property on 80 acres of land. Big lake and easy access to all sites. Lots of shade and the most friendly staff that I have ever encountered. Sites are wide and they do have alot of full timers but they too are some of the best people that I have found in parks. Only drawback to the whole place is the large rocks they use for the road bed. Your tires slip and slide a little going in and out. That is the only reason I gave them a 9. If you have a big rig, when you first enter go to the left not right and the hill access to the office is easier! Big security gate that closes at night for security. They also have some cute little cabins they rent. Nice park, great people. I will return! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice Campground, with unusually large sites. The pads are double wide - Approximately 22 feet wide by 70 feet long. Nice landscaping. On Ross Barnett lake. Nice laundry and showers. People were very friendly. Just off the Natchez Trace parkway and route #43. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The Staff was friendly and helpful. The maintence worker blowing leaves came into the middle of our campsite while we were sitting outside eating and blew leaves and dirt all over us and our food and never said a word. The restrooms have mold growing on the walls and really are in need of a good scrubbing. Stay in the older section as the new section has no shade but is first come first serve. We will not hesitate to stay there again since it is a nice park close to Stores and restaurants. The problems I mentioned were only minor inconveniences. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our second time in this park. Have enjoyed our stay both times and will stay here again. Friendly staff this time, grumpy lady last time. Clean and spacious grounds. Weird reservation policy which is the only negative I have about the campground. If you reserve a space, it is out near the highway with few trees. Space near the lake is first come, first served and many spaces are filled with long termers. Still a great place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

All the office staff were great!! They let me use the telephone several times, so I could get a new cell phone that I took into the pool. One dear office lady there even let me call my son for his birthday while mine was getting up and running. Most of the sites were very shaded. We did have a great problem, though. Our travel trailer, plus numerous others there, got "unindated" with ants!! We finally got them under control, however. We would camp there in another season when it wasn't so hot. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
