This campground is obviously old and has seen much better days. The majority of sites are permanent residents. They also store RVs and from the looks of them most have not seen an owner in years. Very dilapidated surroundings. More of a storage for old cars, heavy construction equipment, and rundown RVs. A few of the residents kept their sites neat and clean; however, they were in the minority. It was about a 200 yard walk down a very steep hill to get to the lake?. We were extremely disappointed. Definitely not the campground represented on their website...in fact, it was 180* opposite. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very spacious park and the sites are large, wooded and level. It is now part of the KOA franchise. It has lake access and covered boat slips for rent. The boat docks were in good condition. They also sell gas for boats. Fishing was just OK in July, but others have said that fishing is excellent in the spring. If you do bring a boat, be aware that there is a very steep road down from the campground to the water. We rented a car so that we didn't have to walk several times a day. The bath house was clean as was the pool. There is a nice playground for kids and some nice tent sites. The only downfall is that it is pretty far by boat or water to many of the area's activities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a really nice park but has limited spaces available as a lot of RV's are left there year around for weekend use. Lots of trees. We really enjoyed this park and is close to the "Lake of the Ozarks". We camped here in a camper.
