The motto is “Secluded, but not remote” which is very accurate. The campground is located in a valley beside the roaring river with several very large sycamore trees, about 4 miles from Roaring River State Park and 15 miles from Eureka Springs, AR. Lots of shade, with some natural cooling from the river and trees. This is an older RV park, but is very well maintained and everything works. The bathrooms / shower house was “spotless”. The sites are grass, which created some mud after a rain. Bring bug repellent, however it is available in the campground store when needed. Picnic tables and fire rings were placed at each site. Several long-term campers left their RV at the camp and returned each weekend to fish. Most of the RVs at the park were older. A few mobile homes are in the park available to rent. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
