This small family run campground is on the south side of Jamesport, a town of about 500 in the heart of Missouri Amish country. It is in town surrounded by small-town houses next to the city park. Owners were friendly and helpful. You can watch Amish buggies passing by, they are more numerous than cars here. Very quiet atmosphere. Walk to restaurants and antique/craft shops just 3-4 blocks away. Amish country shops no more than 3-4 miles in any direction. Good cellular service, fair to poor on-air TV reception. Very little satellite interference. Bathrooms just fair but well stocked and clean. Level grass sites where everything worked fine but they are very close spaced. Devoid of the wood ticks nearby Crowder is legendary for. Some may not like this place but we do. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
