Really nice local park on the lake. Stayed here while visiting family. No shade, so it was pretty hot, but the site was level, had a pull through and had not problem with utilities. Dump station was available and clean. Call for directions, don't rely on your GPS or you may end up in someone's hayfield. Very helpful folks running it. Wi-Fi available for purchase at 5 bucks a day, didn't use it, so can't evaluate it. I'd stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here the week prior to the Labor Day weekend until the following Sunday. We noticed that Sunday morning most of the RV'ers started packing to leave but would leave their RV's behind. Mozingo Lake does not have a stay limit. For a $15.00 fee, the locals just leave their camper (or a car, truck, boat) to insure they have the same site for the following weekend. I did not find these residents from Maryville to be friendly at all. If you are not from the area, they will make you feel not welcomed. I will not return to this campground again, even in the off season. Another thing we noticed: no one had their RV antenna's up. We realized later that even with a converter box you can only pull in one local station out of St. Joseph, Missouri. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campground was opened in 2005, level concrete pads with water and electric at the site and a dump station. Very nice lake and golf course. The park is owned by the city of Maryville. We camped in the off season, I believe the in season rate to be $15. Located about 5 miles east of Maryville on Hwy 136 and then north. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
