We stayed here overnight on our way across MO. to visit relatives. I was concerned about the previous reviews but found the park to be just fine. The sites were level enough and the park manager was very friendly. I heard the train and traffic when I was outside but nothing when inside with the door closed. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We were very disappointed in this park but we had to stay in this area for 3 days. There was no one there to help us find our site. No help! We ask them to cut the high grass around our 5th wheel and they wouldn't. We went to Walmart and bought a grass trimmer and did it ourselves! The grass was over a foot high. Will we stay here again? Only if we have to be in the area and can not find another place. There was a bunch of old mobile homes sitting on the property too. Very close to the highway. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park was well-signed and easy to get to but interior roads were marginal. We have a 30 ft class A and were very happy to get one of the two paved sites (it was raining and we wanted to avoid the dirt sites). It looked like a handful of the other pull-throughs were reasonably level and rut free but many others were not. The view once parked is of many very shabby trailer homes surrounded by junk. There was minor traffic noise from the highway. The bathrooms and showers were a bit dark but clean and well-kept. The pool and gameroom were closed in April when we were there for two nights and there were few amenities but we needed a park in the area and found few options. Would we stay there again? If we had to be in the area and if we could get one of the few decent pull-throughs. We camped here in a Motorhome.
