Last year the restrooms were clean and sanitary. Last week 7/19/13 the restrooms were hot meaning no air circulation, and they smelled bad. The campground allows generators which are loud and take away from the nature affect. Neighboring campers stayed up to 1:00 a.m yelling, cussing and laughing out loud. Did not see or hear of a camp host or park ranger inspecting the camp site after 8:00 p.m. Someone near the camp host site was screaming the F word over and over during the night. We heard this person scream the F word over 12 times in one hour at 11:00 p.m. Where was camp security? All they need to do is use a little bleach water to clean the rest rooms. Also turn on any kind of fan in the hot rest room. Stagnet air with a bad foul odor is not pleasent. Also, the showers only had cold water. It did not matter since the shower room temp was very hot and the smell was bad I did not stay in the cold shower for more than a few seconds. I was glad to leave the shower to breath and cool down. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

A very nice secluded park along the Current River. We had a particular site that was just a few steps from the river with our own private sandy beach. No hookups, but it seemed to be generator-friendly, and there is a water spigot centrally located to fill your tanks as needed. We just stopped for one night, but it appeared to be a popular camping destination. Self-registration center; $14.00 a night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
