This is really odd. We would not ordinarily stay in a campground located between a freeway and a frontage road, but we like this place and it compares very favorably to other campgrounds in the area. There are nice willow shade trees and Prickly Pear Creek runs through; some sites are on the creek. The freeway traffic is minimal after 10 PM and we were not bothered by freeway noise during the night. We stayed 3 months in 2003 and 5 days in 2008. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Only 10 mins. South of Helena right off I-15 in Clancy, MT. Fantastic spot for 1-night stop or more. Stream runs through Cg and fishing for 8-12" brown, brook, rainbow trout is FANTASTIC!! Close to HWY, noise did not bother us, however. Nice people run the place. Sites have 30 amp + water. No sewer hook-up, but, dump station near front. Will DEFINITELY stay here again next time we are in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
