I was a little nervous pulling into this park, as it is located behind a truck stop/casino/restaurant and there were no other campers. But soon, there were 4 other campers pulling in. The sites is a bit bumpy, but fine. We had electric and the road noise was not bad. Did not notice it at all during the night. A fun, free place to stay for the night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
You get what you pay for in most cases but we thought this was a real deal! It really is free, pull in take any empty spot. The sites are a little rough, some are not too level. We didn't park in an official site but it was level and easy in/out. We stopped min-afternoon July 4 and found sites available. Some have 30 amp electric. We had a good meal in the restaurant for the equivalent of the cost of a night at other parks. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This a great free overnight stop. The 30 amp worked good and was clean. I tested it with my EAS before I connected. My wife bought some souvenirs in the gift shop and we had a nice restful night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
For the price (free) this is a great RV Park. It was a perfect overnight stop for us. The sites have 30 amp electric, and from what we saw, are mostly pull through. The drives and sites are gravel and a little bumpy, but pretty level, and well spaced. It's an easy walk to the restaurant/store/casino. The food's OK. We had their nightly special which was reasonably priced. Easy freeway access. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is actually free, but software requires a price. Free electric hook ups gives this park a 10 rating. It's easy on and off I-90. Restaurant is mediocre but we ate there to say thanks for the free rv park. Gift shop is interesting, and the 50,000 silver dollars mounted in the bar are a must see. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This free RV site is behind the Silver Dollar Casino in Haugan, Montana. It is off the I-90 at exit 16 and is advertised many places along the I-90 between Missoula and Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. There are several signs that indicate it is free. There is free electricity and this location is sort of a cult location for travellers in Montana. It is not fancy but it is free and you can say that you were here. Good food and a good bar at the Casino. We parked under a big street light. We camped here in a Motorhome.
