Nice overnight park on the grass (vehicle sits on dirt but you put your chairs out on the grass.) The grounds were clean and the water, power, and sewer were good. Cell & Aircard (Verizon) reception was good also. There are no obstructions to interfere with dome satellites in the pull through sites. Our site was easy to level out. Sites are close together but we were able to put out all of our slides and awning without a problem. No laundry facilities here, just the bare minimum but with FREE Wi-Fi and it worked well. Grocery store is up and around the corner, easy walk from park. It's not the Ritz but it was great for overnight and the price was right!! We would stay again if passing through. City owned Park. Was led to believe this campground was on the lake. It was close but you could not see the lake from campground. Kids liked it. Nice walking path. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Located on Harlan County Lake, just a few miles east of Alma, Nebraska. Another great COE Campground with 30amp electricity at each site. With our 62+ Pass, our cost was $8.00. Huge sites with lots of room between each site. Well kept campground. We camped midweek and it was very quiet, only about 15% occupied. Will definitely stay here again!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Quiet park in Sept. Level, big rigs OK, shade and good fishing (even from the docks..catfish) $9 w/62+ pass. Will be here again. A perfect example of COE parks! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a beautiful Corps of Engineers campground. There are plenty of trees, large, level sites and friendly camp hosts. There has been such a drought for the past 6 years that the lake is down by 20 feet but the campground is still a great place to stay. If you are camping with children, there is a very nice playground and lots of room for them to run, ride bikes, etc. We camped here in a Motorhome.
