This is a nice little park. Easy back in, fairly level grounds. Great Cable TV, Wi-Fi but not real strong. Sprint Air Card is great. Good Shore 50/30/20 amp shore power. Water pressure is about 50psi. Sewer at each site is good. Plenty of room between sites and you can easily park a tow vehicle in front of your trailer. This is a small jewel of a campground where there are very few on hwy 20. I would definitely stay here again if we come by here. Owner is very nice. Don't by pass this one if you need a nice small place to stay. It is not a 10 but not intended to be. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The park is small, great for an overnight stopover. Restrooms very clean and doubled as a storm shelter, just not classy. Has good gravel lots and it's quiet, heard no road noise during the night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
When the hotel was still there, there was a campground behind it with 30amp sites. That is still there. The hotel has been replaced with a line of full-service, back-in, 50amp sites. There is more than ample room to maneuver at these new sites. Cable service is excellent. There is a beautiful library in town for WiFi. There wasn’t any shade. Recycling is available behind the Catholic church. Highway 20 can get busy during the day but we didn’t have any problem with road noise at night. The town of Atkinson has a lot to offer. Bicycle riding around town is easy or you can take the Cowboy Trail either east or west out of town. The staff is friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
