Very nice city campground. The other reviewers have it right. At the other end of the bike/walking path, (about 3 miles) and on the west side of town in Riverdale park, it looks like they will have another 8 sites. They look like they are all ready to go except for getting some grass growing. I would expect they will probably be open next spring/summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Almost a new campground. When the trees grow and give shade it will be an easy 10. Nice, quiet location with a nice bike path nearby. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a public park maintained by the city. The sites are spacious and layer out much like a commercial RV park, but with more space. Interior roads are gravel, but sites are level concrete pads with water, sewer 30/50 amp power at all sites. In the middle of a city park with a stream running through it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice campground. Unfortunately, no dump. We filled our tanks from campground water tap. Sites were very level, gravel, campground looks new, not worn out. Friendly greeting from Campground host, very nice lake for canoe/kayak. Heard wild Turkeys most of the evening. Electric hook up worked fine. If you have Nebraska Park sticker, cost would only be $15. $4 entry otherwise additional. Shade trees are pretty young, will be a while before they shade your camping. We will mark this as a favorite stop when driving on US 34. You can get within 75 ft of shore on lake, but not right on lake. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
