Stayed at this RV Park for one month on the way north. I definitely would stay here again when passing thru Las Vegas. It's reasonably priced, clean and the staff is friendly everyday not just at check-in. The maintenance staff helpful and courteous and the cleaning staff is great. It's close to all kinds of shopping, only nine miles from the strip and except for being on the approach path for the airport it's pretty quiet. There is a great RV repair just down the street that stocks parts or works on the units. This is a great place to stay for a night or a month. They have Escapee Club discounts, Sam's and Passport America. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Duck Creek RV Park is in the top 5 of recreational parks my wife and I have camped at across the United States. The entire staff is very friendly, accommodating and over the last 8 months have become personal friends. We were planning on staying at Duck Creek for 4 months but ended up doubling our stay. The park is very clean, grounds well kept, and very safe and secure because everyone watches out for one another. This RV Park reminds me of childhood growing up when all the neighbors would get together for dinner on occasion and have a good visit with lots of laughs. My wife and I loved the convenience of location; Duck Creek is located close to everything including Walmart, restaurants, freeways, several Casinos, The Strip and so much more. If my wife and I ever come back to Vegas we will definitely stay at Duck Creek RV Park. A special thanks to the staff of Duck Creek for making our stay enjoyable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park was quite large but loaded with RVs. You are nearly within arm's reach of your neighbor's slideout. Park was quiet and we had no issues. We did not use any of the amenities so I cannot vouch from them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We loved this campground but compared to others there are fewer amenities so we rated it 7. It is 17 miles out of Vegas at 7000' near Mt. Charleston. We had site 7 with a view of the mountainsides, trees all around, privacy and visiting wildlife. The picnic tables are concrete as are the fire rings and both are on a concrete pad. The tent pad was very large and level. On the downside, leveling the motorhome took double boards on one side, the road into the campground is narrow with a circle at the end that you must be able to drive around (think length of your unit) to get out, pay showers, no dump station, no playground and no water at any site, although it is accessible to fill your tank. Hiking is available everywhere, you are close to Red Rock Canyon and Vegas, there are a few restaurants within 1 mile and you can completely relax. Very popular so arrive early in the week or make a reservation. We will stay there again. Rate is with Access card. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I gave this campground a 8 due to the close proximity to Las Vegas. It has tall Ponderosa Pines at the 7,000 ft level that represents a marked changed from the desert. Each site has power. This campground can be reserved by going to Recreation.Gov. The only water comes from community campground spigots. I suggest that you buy a rubber hose connection called a "water robber" at your local RV parts store as it allows you to temporarily attach your hoses to the non-threaded faucets found in most Forest Service campgrounds. You will be able to fill your fresh water tank. There is no Holding tank drop at the campground. I would not suggest that you reserve spaces 6 or 8 if you have a unit longer than 25 feet. Also note that the 2 million residents of the Las Vegas valley scramble to get into this campground with electric hookups, so you should book space way in advance. Overall a great experience We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A gem of a place, just 45 minutes from my home in Las Vegas, a great place to see all of the Mt. Charleston sights. Very friendly staff, firewood for sale on site. Electric, and water spigots, no sewer. Lots of space between sites. Of the 12 sites, six can be reserved. Took us two months to get a reservation. First come sites are tricky, according to host. Hard to predict, he says. Elevation is such that you might expect snow early as November. Bring everything you need. Nearest store is about 20 miles down the mountain. Rate reflects Senior Interagency Pass discount. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for six nights while attending a wedding in Las Vegas. Park is on a bus line to the "Strip" so you don't have to try to park downtown. Wi-Fi was weak in our site, #56 but the office loaned us a Wi-Fi amp that worked just fine. Park was clean, well maintained with a security gate, lots of full timers. It is close to Nellis AFB with low flying fighter jets leaving in the AM and returning in the PM. Didn't fly on Memorial Day, however. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a Walmart to the North and several gas and diesel stations near by. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Hitchin' Post was fine for overnight and security. It is not in the best area of town but it was secure. Check-in was easy, staff was helpful and friendly. The sites and facilities were clean and cared for. Sites were level enough, tight but you are inside with the AC on anyway. Pet areas were average. The described steak house in front is a smoky bar. Food was very greasy. We will return to this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Paid the monthly rate. Power was $100 for a month, so a bit on the expensive side. Very nice office staff. Air Force base very close, so if you will be bothered by the noise of the jets, not a place to stay. We, however, loved the sound of them and it was nice to watch. Has two pet runs and a dog bath. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older trailer park with overnight campers. It has been here a while and it looks like it. Not run down but aged. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even guided us to our site and made sure everything was working. Lot was a pull-through, and level. Had full hookups. The Wi-Fi was working but slow. No cable but we could pull in many stations on the antenna. Let's also put everything in perspective. We were here to see the strip and experience Freemount street, not stay at the trailer. We will definitely stay here again! What can you say when it is only $17 and the folks are friendly? We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

HOT. HOT. HOT. This is a paved lot with hookups. No shade to speak of - even the 'cold' water ran hot. Convenient to Circus Circus. Had a bum knock on the RV door in the middle of the day - very strange. Sewer hookup was in a weird location inside the base of the power pedestal. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our 2nd trip. This is basically an RV parking lot with utilities placed throughout; however, don't let that deter you for giving them a look. Their dog park is one of the best. They offer a free self serve dog wash, too. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice but a little bit crowded. There is not a lot of shade, but what can you expect from a parking lot. The location in Las Vegas is good and easy in and out off I-15. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this park. This is the second time we have used it out of convenience and hopefully it is my last. Not only are they way overpriced, but the grounds look pathetic, the grass has not been trimmed in weeks, and the dandy lions are growing abundantly. When It was owned by the casino and it was reasonably priced and there were lifeguards on duty and the place looked really nice. Now everyone that works there stays there free and basically nothing gets done as far as upkeep. There is no cable, no Wi-Fi, and the asphalt is completely broken apart. This is a big reason why I do not patronize KOA campgrounds. If it were not for the various other rental motor home companies this place would be closed up. I hope we don't have to come back We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice resort. Level sites, great Wi-Fi convenient to the strip, quit and secure. We stayed here for a week, they were offering a special weekly rate. The pool is in the process of being re-coated. Like most parks in this area there is next to no grass. The pet park has a fine gravel that is easy on the paws and easy to clean-up. I would say one of the best amenities is the private bathrooms with showers. I don't normally use the facility shower but these were exceptional. We stayed here in a 5th wheel, plenty of room in the pull-through. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here in a motorhome, and we were escorted to our site. Sites are wide and on pavement so easy to level. About 20 mins. from downtown. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Laundry was clean and not expensive. Pool was closed for renovation, but I was told up front when I made my reservation. Easy access to Hoover Dam. Would recommend for the convenience and price. Las Vegas RV Resort is a very nice park with all the amenities and only a few miles from the strip. It is within walking distance to Sam’s Town which has gaming, great food, etc. So if you would rather avoid the hustle and bustle of the strip I heartily recommend Sam’s Town. The Las Vegas RV Resort has wide enough roads and long enough spaces for our 38 foot Monaco with a motorcycle lift holding my Triumph and our CR-V tow car. We were able to pull right on through without having to disconnect the car. The coach with the motorcycle is equal to a 45 foot coach so plenty of room for everything. We were escorted to our site which is always nice. Our DirecTV Satellite worked perfectly with no obstructions. The Tengo Internet worked fine and was fairly consistent and quick. Of course if you have an Apple device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) you will have to call Tengo and give them the MAC address of your device which is found under General – About – Wi-Fi Address. This is necessary because Apple devices redirect to www.apple.com instead of www.tengointernet.com. This is a mild inconvenience, but is not a show stopper nor the fault of the park. We stayed here for a week; therefore, our rate of $27 is a weekly rate. Next time I’m in Vegas this is where I am staying! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent resort - peaceful, well landscaped, very friendly staff and residents, quick access to the strip. This is a relatively large, gated ownership resort with approximately 75% of the sites sold (they did not push on buying a lot). All sites are concrete backins with privacy barriers (hedges mostly) between each site. Plenty of room for 37' coach with toad parked in front of the coach. Ownership sites in the rental pool have upgraded amenities (at an upgraded price). Five pool / hot tub / shower / laundry areas distributed across the resort. Showers were very clean. Pool and hot tub were clean, but suffered occasionally from wind blown palm tree leaves. Utilities were good with strong and relatively fast wifi (Tengo). Note that only Class A motorhomes are allowed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Check in was great and made us feel very welcomed. The motorcoach residents were so friendly to us during our stay. One large pool with satellite pools mixed into the campground. Sites are large with most being landscaped very well. We had a refrig, dishwasher, sink, large Jenn Air propane grill, smoker and 3 palapas on our colored polished concrete double wide pad. Power, water and sewer were placed correctly and in very good working order. This place is expensive but for us well worth for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is not a "Resort" by any means but it is very convenient to the Fremont Street area. We felt very safe. Security is always going through the park and the parking lots. We have stayed here before and will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

[Deferred Resubmission] of {Stayed here one night based on the RV Park Review's notes. It is a parking lot, but the price trumps any negatives. Walk 1/2 a block to the casino to check in. Previous ratings are right on. Would stay here again when passing thru Vegas.} Stayed here one night based on the RV Park Review's notes. It is a parking lot, but the price trumps any negatives. Does have a LOT of highway noise as park is right next to Hwy 15 on-ramp. Because it was getting hot, we ran our AC all night so we didn't hear the noise. Walk 1/2 a block to the casino to check in. Sites are approx 50 feet long so no problem for our 40 ft motorhome and our tow car. Good buffet at $10 per person on Monday night. A little more the rest of the week. You WILL scrape upon entering the park. Be prepared for this if possible. Wouldn't walk to the casino after dark from the park as there are some bums between the park and the casino.Daytime was no problem for us. Previous ratings are right on. Would stay here again when passing through Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is across the street from the Casino and it is a good idea to have reservations. You call the main number and make your reservations through the hotel. It is hard to find information about the park online through their website, so read the park reviews. to help you. Sites are right next to each other in a parking lot that is secure with security making their rounds in cars and bikes. It costs us $16 for a full hookup site (even though our sewer did not work). There is a bathhouse and you will get keys for them at registration. They advise to call two hours before arrival to get a site number first. Once you are all set up you cross the street to the Main Casino/Hotel and register. Pull through sites are more expensive. At the drive in, there is a dip that can scrape the back of your RV so take it slow. This was a one night stop for us and we enjoyed being in old Vegas. You can walk to the historic district and experience the light show and market place during the day and at night. There are restaurants, shows and old casinos to enjoy like the original Golden Nugget. Enjoyed our stay. There are shuttles if you want to head to the strip. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very well kept NFS park. No services to speak of. We love staying here though. Generators allowed. Longer rigs need to watch the dip when exiting, the drive crosses a couple of low spots and we've seen some folks bottom out. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I have stayed here several times, and things have not changed much. The facilities are nice, but showing their age. They need to put some money back into the place to spruce it up some. I stayed in a premium site that backed up to the pool. Nice view, until the gardener started work at 6:30 AM. And due to its 24 hour check in policy, we got a new neighbor at 3 AM. It's still probably the nicest place to stay in Vegas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The Oasis is a large well maintained park. Restrooms were very clean. Reported a broken shower head and by the next morning it was replaced. Only complaint was when I asked about checking out but parking my 10 foot teardrop for a few extra hours the rate was nearly the same as an extra night. This despite many service vehicles and trailers from vendors servicing the park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is the second time we stayed here in our RV and towed our car. While the Deluxe site we stayed in was fine, it did not have a grassy area like the Deluxe sites on the east side of the office. The bathrooms were great. Three in a row and each one with private entrance to sink and shower area. Great for Mom with all the kids. We camped here in a Motorhome.
