An acceptable park when going through to Las Vegas. Right off the freeway. Tight spaces with not much breathing space between neighbors. Pull through site barely fit our 39' motorhome towing a car behind. Nice store, pretty friendly staff. Nice pool area, but pool water was very dirty and it smelled in the area. Packed with people. Expensive rv park. Very loud surrounding area. There was a concert nearby that we could hear well into the late evening. Didn't have free wifi - had to pay for it. For the price paid, that should be complimentary. Entrance was tight for an RV park of this size. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is one of the better parks in Las Vegas. Streets are paved & wide. Sites are paved but not quite as level as they should be. The instant telephone was convenient. The park is well maintained. There are several permanent residents but they were mostly located on a couple of the outside rows. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Instant phone lines real convenient. The long term residents are just fine even if their rigs are older. Security is excellent and constant. Spaces are very tight together though. Dog walk is to be avoided as the soil is never changed or limed and may harbor diseases. Working treadmills in office. Laundry is good value$$. Good economical choice for visiting LV We camped here in a camper.

We didn't actually stay at this park, I am just offering an update based on a drive-thru in January, 2002. The park seemed to be heavily populated with some rather rough looking long termers, giving it a rundown, poorly tended appearance. If you are planning on staying here, I would recommend that you take a look before making reservations. We camped here in a camper.

Excellent park, right next to Arizona Charlies Casino and Hotel. Food in the Casino is great and cheap. Breakfast of Steak and Eggs for $2.49. Great place to stay to play in Vegas and not too expensive, plus a phone line at each site. We camped here in a camper.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The campgrounds are not on top of each other. The camp host walks around the area and makes sure nothing is getting out of hand. I felt safe, as I was there by myself at the time. I have been coming here for the last 10 yrs and will continue to do so. We camped here in a Tent.

Out of 417 advertised sites, only 35 or so are kept open for overnighters. Huge place. Overnight sites are
large, mostly clean, mostly level. Didn't use the bathrooms or clubhouse, so can't comment. It does look like this RV park used to be something to crow about many moons ago. But it's heyday has passed and things are sliding slowly downhill. Still, I'd use it again for a day or two if I had to. We camped here in a camper.

A big concrete car park in a great location. You can walk to the strip from here, with stops on the Deuce bus system nearby. The pool was big and cool, just what you need. The spa was closed when we were there. Free Wi-Fi is available although the speed was quite slow. Laundry was good although the socks i left on the bench went missing! At $29 a night it was great value given the location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came here for a convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A shuttle bus service provided by the convention stopped at Circus Circus very near the RV park's office - a very convenient walk. The people working here are very helpful and friendly, but failed to enforce park rules - barking dogs, yelling children, and loud motorcycles caused us to close the windows and blinds and crank up the air conditioner in order to sleep. Also other campers abused the (overpriced) laundry and would take over the laundry for themselves rather than just using one or two washers and dryers so that others could get in. The management didn't seem to police any of this. The Wi-Fi worked off and on and was provided by some company that limited you to 360 Mbytes - ok for most web surfing, but very restrictive if you were trying to hit a Slingbox back home for TV (No cable TV and hardly any local TV reception) or do any kind of heavy Virtual Private Network use. We never hit this limit because it quit working so often. The staff knew about the problem, but couldn't seem to get the company to come out and fix it because it was "free". ???!!! The sites are level, but the entire park is on an old parking lot so ground auger awning tie downs aren't possible. There are small grassy spots in various places with some short trees that may give some respite from the scorching sun. The place has breezes often enough so that we wouldn't have even used the air conditioner if it hadn't been so noisy. Our sewer connection was about six inches off the ground which was a problem for our small, low to the ground trailer. This park is located adjacent to Circus Circus at the North end of the strip. Circus Circus has been pretty much a dump for years, but the Sahara and its monorail station( $5 per trip one way! ) are only about a block away. Even though the Oasis is much further from the Convention Center we would probably stay there before we'd stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very helpful in getting my 65' (motorhome/trailer) rig into a pull through that fit. All paved, but clean, and close to the strip. Nicely stocked store, and free coffee! Close to the freeway, but could not hear the freeway. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a KOA property and was sold long ago by the owners of Circus Circus. For access to the strip, and only 3 miles from Downtown this is exactly where I want to be. The location is on the north end of the strip within walking distance to the Sahara and Riviera casinos across from Circus. If you do not have a toad the monorail runs from the Sahara south to the MGM with an easy walk to the rest of the strip casinos from 5 stops in between. Cost for a day pass is $12.00 and there are double-decker busses “The Duece” which run the entire strip and into downtown for $5.00 per day. The Wi-Fi is strong which allows me to work during the day and play at night. We are self contained so cannot rate many of the facilities. The people are friendly and the well stocked store/office is open from 6am to 11pm. Camping it is not, but this is Vegas and for the cost of a cheap strip room we have a nice one bedroom condo that is the equivalent to a suite with a kitchen. Most sites are pull through and the park has easy access from the I-15 without having to drive the strip. Leave the pets and children at home as the place is not pretty or a destination park for a vacation but it is convenient to one of the greatest adult destinations in the world. The best time to visit is when the temperature is tolerable from mid October to May. During the hot season the park power and your AC may not be able to handle the heat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ridiculous price for the value. Only 2 potties & showers per building, always a wait for the shower. Toilets have an automatic plastic cover that was broke leaving an unsanitary used toilet seat cover. Showers had large clots of hair and mildew, clearly not maintained. No security, approached by streetwalkers & drug types when trying to find the entrance. Only positive was the friendly staff. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you spring for the expensive site, you get a little luxury. But if you don't, you are just in a huge parking lot atmosphere. Although pets are allowed, it is not a pet friendly place. Nowhere to really walk a pet. Access to the office when checking in is a real pain. I can not imagine us staying there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Going to Las Vegas in the RV was something that I've always wanted to do. The KOA at Circus Circus is not in a deeply wooded lot, it is large asphalt lot with full hook-ups. Now that being said, I knew it going in, I just wanted to be near the strip, and this was the closest place. I was not let down. Upon arriving I saw security at the gates, and there were staff all over the place. They were so friendly there, that one of the staff actually led us to our site, then helped me line up my RV for hook-ups (not that I couldn't have done it myself). Another thing to remember is that it is asphalt, and because of this, on the very hot days, you need to be concerned about your pets paws to avoid burning them. Check-out is 11 AM, so I called over to Bally's spoke with Security and told them I wanted to gamble there. They directed me to a large lot that would accomodate me for free- no overnight camping though). Overall, it was an enjoyable experience at this KOA. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very poorly appointed grounds for a premium price. The staff was very friendly and amenable, however there was little to no "perks" for being at a site on "The Strip". Upon asking why there was no cable tv available we were informed that Circus Circus wanted us in gambling so they wouldn't provide it. Circus Circus doesn't provide any type of shuttle service on the strip, so you must have a tow vehicle or rent a car for the duration of your stay. There was a very nice "clubhouse" with a large screen tv and computer bank along with free wi-fi. As a whole, if you don't intend on spending your time within Circus Circus gambling, this is not the place for you! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a great place to camp in Vegas with younger kids, given its proximity to Circus/Circus. Many of the other reviews are correct in that it is basically a huge asphalt lot, but not sure what more you would expect being on the strip in Vegas. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. This park is way way way over priced. We got a premium site so we would have a little grass and a tree. Not even an escort to the site. No discounts for meals or anything. No cable. A couple of local channels with HDTV and HDTV antenna. We did put up our satellite too. I'd go elsewhere next time. This is our first time camping in Las Vegas. Won't come here again. The Circusland KOA is a huge black asphalt parking lot with hookup's and that's it! I made reservations 6 months in advance to ensure a great spot at least that's what I thought! It was about 112 degrees in Vegas every day we were there and camping on black asphalt only added to the heat!!! The pool was closed all 4 days we were there! I don't see this KOA staying open too much longer as there is a lot of demolition and new construction happening! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We knew what to expect and were not surprised by anything. This was a stop over on our way to Zion. LV is HOT in the summer - everywhere. A/C in our RV was a blessing. Pool was great and the park has a "on demand" shuttle to take you to Circus Circus, which was enough casino for us. Not a vacation spa, but a clean and safe place to stay while in LV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Skip this one. It is located in a parking lot. It is very hot. Rude staff. Horrible for pets. You get hooked on the fact it's next to Circus Circus and on the strip. The fact is that if you don't have a car, you have to walk 15 minutes in the heat to get to the cab stand then stand in line for 15 minutes in the heat for a cab. Our friends left after one day and moved to another park. I wished we had done the same. It was miserable. We will never return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a parking lot with hookups. However it is clean and close to the "strip". They provide a shuttle service but we found it difficult to get one back into the campground later at night. TV reception was horrible and there is no cable. Since the purpose of the visit was to see the casinos we spent very little time there so it fitted out purposes very well. It is also very handy to I-15 but pay attention on how to access off Safari Avenue. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was our first trip to Vegas and we were unsure how this campground was going to be after reading some of the reviews. It is basically a very, very large asphalt parking lot, however there were some nicer sites and you get what you pay for!! We took a super site which was a lot more expensive but definitely was worth it. It had a stamped concrete pad, decorative rocks, a small tree and a beautiful patio set at it. The site was enormous and we had a ton of room all around us. So the upgraded site is definitely worth the money. Just be careful though because we booked our site several months in advance at the rate of $79. We found out that the going rate for walk-ins for the first four nights was $59, not $79. They finally did change the rate for 4 days to $59. We look at it this way, at a hotel if you want a nicer room you have to pay for it and it's the same at this campground, otherwise you are basically getting a parking space to park your "house". I do agree however that there are no trees anywhere to provide for shade. We made sure we carried our dogs across the pavement since it was so hot, or we walked them early in the morning and late at night. We were there the week they hit records-it was 97 and 98 degrees in April- so some shade would have been nice. The staff were extremely pleasant and everything was well kept. The pool was closed while we were there because they were painting the area around it. We did notice that they cleaned the restrooms at inconvenient times and seemed to be in there a long time cleaning them, almost as if to deter you from using them.It seemed odd to be cleaning them at 9 30 and 10 00 every morning since this is such a busy time especially in Vegas since the average morning wake up time is later because of the night life. Also there was ABSOLUTELY NO TV RECEPTION. We knew someone with a satellite that had a hard time getting any channels. My husband and I figured they probably scramble the reception so that there is no tv to watch, making you gamble more. They don't want you in your rig-they want you in the casino. The location is ideal though because you are right on the strip.We had a vehicle with us which was great because you were near the casinos which all offer free parking! The campground was really quiet at night considering you are right on the strip, but they are in the process of building a new hotel right along the one whole side of the campground so every morning we woke to tons of large machinery. We did notice that the sites along that side didn't seem to be used probably because of the construction at your doorstep!! All in all we really enjoyed it. Most of the reviews complain that it is just a parking lot. Yes that is what it is, but sometimes the convenience of the location out ways everything else. It is located at the far end of the strip but it is in a very convenient location in terms of all the casinos. One word of advice though is to get exact directions on how to get into and out of the campground. The roads around the campground are very confusing and several times we just could not find the entrance!! Can you imagine being lost in Vegas and having to stay there forever???!!! This was our first trip to Vegas and we were unsure how this campground was going to be after reading some of the reviews. It is basically a very, very large asphalt parking lot, however there were some nicer sites and you get what you pay for!! We took a super site which was a lot more expensive but definitely was worth it. It had a stamped concrete pad, decorative rocks, a small tree and a beautiful patio set at it. The site was enormous and we had a ton of room all around us. So the upgraded site is definitely worth the money. Just be careful though because we booked our site several months in advance at the rate of $79. We found out that the going rate for walk-ins for the first four nights was $59, not $79. They finally did change the rate for 4 days to $59. We look at it this way, at a hotel if you want a nicer room you have to pay for it and it's the same at this campground, otherwise you are basically getting a parking space to park your "house". I do agree however that there are no trees anywhere to provide for shade. This is nothing more than an asphalt parking lot with back to back parking. The strip location is not worth staying in a parking lot. Other Las Vegas parks may offer transportation to strip, consider those instead. Pool was overflowing with children, office was hot. Extremely busy location. Our experience was so poor that I am now gun shy of all RV parks and will research parks to the death before making another reservation. Extremely disappointed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in Dec 2006, and had our Mom's in the main hotel. We paid a higher rate to have a "premium space", which we requested - next to a dog-friendly grass area. We have stayed here a handful of times since Castaways closed, and it's pretty good for being on the strip. It's a bit of a walk to the main casino, but not too bad. You'll need to take a taxi to pretty much any other casino from here, as it's location is pretty far up the strip. We plan to check other rv parks next trip to LV. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a huge park. I could not believe how large it was. You had to follow their instructions on pulling in or backing in so that each rig was facing the opposite way. This allowed people to put their awnings out. Otherwise there would not have been enough space. The pool was nice. We were able to take our toddler in there and swim. The restrooms looked new. The "shuttle" only runs from the campground to the Circus Circus casino, which is not that far. It is a golf cart. But I was able to engage the cart driver on a moment's notice, and she took me as close as she was allowed to go to the strip. It saved me a couple blocks when I was in a hurry. My husband stepped out of the camper and sprained his ankle coming down the step. The staff was very helpful and provided free ice. The overnight maintenance guy was just getting in, and said to use the page button to reach him if I needed more ice, even in the middle of the night. The campground hosts were friendly. I had to enlist their help as I had a hard time locating one of the dog-friendly grass islands in the dark. The location is great, and I believe it's the only place you can RV-camp right on the strip. The prices are high, but they accept the KOA discount card and promotional deals. That is how we only paid $56. Also, if you reserve over the phone, you get a better rate than if you walk in, but they don't tell you that on the phone. There is an extra fee for registering when you pull in. All the people at the park were friendly, and we felt safe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Downsides - all sites on asphalt, only a few sites have shade and at an increased cost. The advertised shuttle, which is sorely needed due to size of park doesn't run continuously. Positives - close to Las Vegas strip, rental cars available through cg office, very reasonable rv washing available. We encountered one couple in the office, that were extremely helpful. Not all of the staff were as pleasant. They were most accomodating. We recommend management develop some sort of shading for the sites as awning use was impractical due to high winds. No picnic tables available. It has some negatives but we would probably stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. This campground and the Circus Circus casino is very child friendly. Our 10 year old enjoyed their big pool and their hot tub. Very nice selection of gift items at their store. We had a very good time at Circus Circus, the largest arcade we had ever been in, and the games were all reasonably priced and they were very generous with their prizes. The free circus acts were superb. We aren't much on gambling, but we had a ball with with our daughter here. Actually we paid the extra $10 for a late checkout at the campground, so we could go back to Circus Circus. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

It used to be just a big asphalt parking lot. Still is in many respects, but... There has been an attempt to make it less of a parking lot by putting in rock fields around the hookups. Helps a great deal. And on some of the lawn areas, they are now designated pet areas with little bags you can use to dispose of your pets waste. My dog still likes the dog runs the best. Expensive, but it is a KOA now. Rumor has it that it will be gone at the end of the year as Circus Circus is being torn down. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Yes, it's a big blacktop parking lot and the spots are close together, but what do you expect from the back lot of a casino in the middle of the desert? We didn't want to mess with driving around LV (not the best traffic patterns in the world there!) so we went with convenience over beauty. The good: 1) there are a few oases of grass and nice big trees every row or so. Some are for people use only; the others are designated dog areas and have convenient dog bag dispensers mounted on posts...greatly appreciated. 2) The bathrooms were clean and tidy, with (apparently newly installed) revolving toilet seats covers that give you a fresh place to sit each time :~) 3) Extra credit points for a great lighted magnifying mirror in the ladies' room. 4) Pool looked inviting though we didn't have time to try it out. 5) Laundry was small but got the job done. 6) Well-lighted at night...maybe a bit too much light...and lots of security at all hours. 7) Big store selling mostly souvenirs and a few convenience items, snack, ice, etc. 8) Personnel were professional if not overly friendly. The bad (or annoying): 1) While there are several large enclosed gravel areas where dogs can run loose, they are basically only good to use early in the a.m. and at night...with all the rock and no shade, they are way too hot for day use. Though we understand the gravel, some sort of overhang to block the sun could be provided, making them more usable. And don't let your dogs walk on the asphalt in the afternoon or they will burn their paws! We had to carry or run them real fast from grassy spot to grassy spot when they needed to "go"...no way could we walk them during the day. 2) The dumpster was ALWAYS overflowing. Sheesh, they make enough money there...can't they afford an extra bin or three? 3) And they are picky about letting anyone in for repairs who is not on their "list". We limped in on a flat, and the only person who had the right tires and equipment to change it was 1.5 hrs out of LV. We had to get the manager's OK for them to come in...but when she called for herself to confirm that the approved repair houses could not help us out, she did agree they could come in. So, this one gets only a partial ding. Overall, if you don't mind the parking lot ambiance and the heat, this is a clean, convenient, professionally run campground. If our main reason to go to LV again was to gamble and wander the strip, we'd stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you're looking for standard RV park facilities, this is not the place for you. As everyone else mentioned it's just a parking lot with hookups. That said, KOA has done a great job with how they handle things here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the store/office stays open untill 11pm. The pool/whirlpool is well maintained as are the shower buildings and laundry. We have a hybrid trailer and did not feel uncomfortable opening our vinyl bunk ends and leaving the trailer. It was really nice to be right on the strip. Cable TV would have been nice. We had trouble getting clear reception on local channels. We would stay there again if we go back to Vegas. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small campground about 30 miles from Las Vegas. It's about 20 degrees cooler than the Valley because it's in the mountains. We had site #2 which is a group site which is why the price was so high. The site was long, level and very wide, with 30/50 amp power receptacles. The hosts were so nice. This campground has only about 10-12 sites, so if you want to go on a weekend, I highly recommend reservations. We will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first travel trailer camping experience, new to RVing. The Bathrooms were very clean, no showers though, water was available at a fill point. The camp hosts were very friendly and nice, paid $25 per night, all sites include 20a/50a power 3 different receptacles at the power box. The only negative was the fire pits were kinda tall and deep, so you get a smoky fire for lack of air, and the heat only hits your face. add some big rocks to the pit to bring the wood up higher that fixes that. The camp areas were very clean and lots of room on the paved camp area for your rv and chairs etc, paved path to fire pit and picnic table, BBQ's are provided (briquette style). Wood is for sale at the hosts and 1 mile away is the Mount Charleston hotel with starbucks, a restaurant and a bar, beers are $3 ea and extra bags of chips $1 (small bags) not many other sundries so bring most of what you need. The campground is kinda close to the main road, but it isn't a very busy road weekdays, especially at night. Weekends can be pretty busy in the summer at the campground, we have been local Las Vegans for 21 years, so we've seen all season up there. We didn't hear any traffic while sleeping. With a dry wash separating us from the road and some trees, we weren't too worried about the kids getting ran over, just keep a loose eye on them. Our are 3 and 4 years old. The campground was full, even though it was a weekday (summer), reservations are available for 8 of the sites and recommended, see website link for details. There are 2 double sites for slightly larger groups, 40 foot back in sites $25 for ea night singles and $38 for double sites. The turn around is kinda tight for extra large Motorhomes, our F150 supercrew and 19 foot trailer had no problems getting in and out. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Park is located in North Las Vegas so it is out of the mob scene at the Vegas strip. Sites are gravel. It is located near Nellis Air Force Base so it can be noisy but they did not fly after 7PM. Good cable TV plus I could get the DISH satellites. They have electric security gates and require a $50 deposit for the gate opener. The Vegas strip was a 15 min trip from the park. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really liked this park. It did have drawbacks like the other people wrote, noise from the base, but it stopped at around 9:00 p.m. and quite a few long term people. They had redone their bathrooms so they were nice and the pool area was nice. The best part was the Hitchin Post Restaurant. Wow, were we surprised. We will go to that restaurant any time we are in Las Vegas. It was very good. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is basically a parking lot. The size of lots is okay. I didn't feel cramped. I was disappointed not to get wifi because we expressly asked for a site where we could get it. Checked with the office and a gentleman came out and said he couldn't understand why we didn't get it, but the bottom line is we didn't. The staff is helpful and the park is pet friendly with two fenced areas for pets. One even had a ball to toss and a water bowl with water in it. I did not feel unsafe and the noise from nearby air force jets was not so much that it was disturbing to me. Overall, I'd say a good park but don't expect to get wifi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The only thing we had trouble with was the Wi-Fi. In our slot, the internet was not available. We learned something on this visit, to drive through with our laptop on and Wireless Assistant engaged to see if the computer can pick up a good signal. We now ask for the site so we can take the laptop right there and see if it works OK. Other than that, this was a near-perfect 3 days to spend in Vegas. There were many long term residents, people who lived there and worked somewhere in town. The only thing I have to add is that we weren't too far from a number of (at least 50) homeless people waiting for help in front of a shelter. They were living on the streets. Inside the campground you see nothing of this. The owner couldn't do enough for you. They give you a gate opener to get in and out. He was building a restaurant and if we ever visit Las Vegas again, we will most certainly chose the "Hitchin' Post" and see how well he can cook! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The staff at this park are extremely friendly and helpful. They are full of information. The park is clean, but all the sites are gravel. They have a beautiful pool but no spa or exercise room. There is also no club-house. The bathrooms are some of the best I have ever seen and include full-size bathtubs. The major problem with this campground is the location. It is sitting right outside Nellis Air-Force Base Main Gate and during the day the fighter jet planes are deafening. It is impossible to hold a normal conversation on a phone due to the extreme noise. The other problem with location is this area of town is the worse section. They are less than 3-mile from the homeless tent-city, and the streets are dark. There is major crime, drugs and prostitution. The office keeps their door locked, and everyone must be buzzed in. The campground has a security gate and very high fence surrounding the entire park. Each resident has a remote to open the security gate. There are tire spikes and bumper strips on the roadways. I think they are there mostly to encourage bad people from coming in and doing bad things and trying to get away in a hurry. If you are a biker and have a motorcycle, this campground is super friendly to bikers. A good majority of the residents, from what I could tell, are mostly contract workers and stay for several months at a time or until their jobs are completed, and they move on. Overall this campground is a super nice one with exceptionally good staff. It's just the location that is the down-side to staying here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good Sam rate available. Very nice park with full timers, and overnite spaces. Staff very courteous and very knowledgeable. Due to the crime rate in LV you have to be buzzed into the office, and the park has high fencing (very secure). Refundable deposits for gate opener ($50) & pool. We stayed 2 days and got the gate opener. WiFi was free and excellent. Because we play World of Warcraft and use two computers they even gave us two passwords. They had no problem that we have 2 Harleys. Would stay there again. Saloon was being remodeled so not open at the time we were there. Our F450 and 40' toy-hauler negotiated the park quite well. Park management must be very worried about the area the park is in. They own the property on all sides of the park but still have office door locked, you must be buzzed in after they see you, remote control gate with $50 cash deposit for opener, and spike strips in several places in roads. The worst thing, in my opinion, are bump strips throughout the park made out of 4" pipe covered by asphalt. In a medium duty truck pulling a 38.5' 5'er, the strips will nearly break your neck even crawling over them. We were planning a longer stay but decided to leave after 2 days. We won't be back here. Never found the saloon either. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I was not too impressed with this park. It is old, crowded, full of permanent residents, and (one of my pet peeves) had the water hookup within 12 inches of the sewer. It is in a very run-down part of town and didn't feel too safe. The front door to the office was locked and you had to ring a bell to get in. They did have an automatic gate but they required a $50 deposit on the gate opening remote. They also had a $25 deposit on each of the keys to the showers. Therefore, we had $100 tied up in deposits just to stay in their park. My wife said that the showers and pool were nice. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Mostly monthly rentals; the only downside to that is folks like the bozo next door who thinks he needs to warm up his diesel pickup for 15 minutes at 5:00 AM. From 8:00 AM to dusk there is a lot of noise from military aircraft flying low overhead. Terrific laundry open 24 hours. Free WiFi, but we couldn't connect to it. It's true. The bathrooms and the laundry are beautiful. Spotless, aromatic, climate controlled with gorgeous paneling, counters and floors. The pool was also clean and appealing. The RV park has level gravel sites placed diagonally with plenty of room to get in and out for our 30 ft class A. Diagonal placement gives a less crowded feeling; spaces are large enough and we did not feel cramped even though the park was completely full. Cable, 50 amp power and sewer for a reasonable nightly rate. Many long term residents when we visited in late May but units looked well kept and tidy overall; some snow birds leaving late and others working on a new power plant we were told. We liked the north Las Vegas location of this park; it was quiet and comfortable and not difficult to drive downtown or to the Strip. The park worked great for us. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Reservations can only be made in person at the office, and even that is confusing. We wanted to reserve a spot for October while we were there in April and were not able to do so. The showers/restrooms are fabulous. Aromatic cedar and redwood. Very clean. No paper towels or hand soap, however. Security is good. Grounds are very clean. Front office staff is friendly. There is some fighter jet noise from nearby Nellis AFB. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On the north end of town (away from the Strip.) It's 10 minutes from downtown and about 20 minutes to the Strip. Quite a few long term residents. Paved roads with gravel mostly pull through sites of average width. Each site seemed to have a tree. No stores within easy walking distance. The park is on a major bus line. Park is quiet, well lit with a very good security system (remote controlled gated park.) This park had the cleanest and nicest restrooms I have ever seen at an RV park. Just beautiful (really). It is the only park that I preferred using their showers to using my own. The pool is very nice with translucent walls around it to keep out dust and provide some privacy. I would stay here again because I don't go down to the Strip much. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hookups worked fine and the spot was fine for a one night stop on our way to Zion. The location was not ideal. Although it was close to Sam's Town Casino, we did not feel safe walking there. It's not the best area to walk around. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is in a great location for seeing and doing things in the city. It's quiet and near the Galleria Shopping Mall and has easy access to the Boulder Highway. My lower rating is due to 3 things: 1) Our satellite TV wouldn't work. However, others got theirs to work by switching over to Channel 4. Ours is locked at Channel 3 so the picture was full of static. The local TV station reception wasn't that good either. No cable. 2)The office wasn't always conveniently open. 3)We took a back-in space and we're kinda packed in like sardines. They are at an angle which means we all aren't looking into each other coaches but again, it's very tight and basically asphalt parking. Utilitarian and practical. Good news: We got a phone line into the coach so getting onto the internet was nice and easy. This is a great place to be with a pet because right across the street are huge grassy soccer fields. We'd probably stay here again but also would probably look into staying at Sam's Town Nellis Park, which was our first choice but was full due to NASCAR races. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Could not get WIFI internet to work and park does not operate it so was of little help and charge is $4.95 by another off site company. Phone hookup on the other hand was free and at site. area for dogs to go just outside of the gate. A perfect place to stay if you are going to a UNLV football game, it's just outside of the stadium! Spots are a bit too close and they don't have any transportation into town, if you don't have a tow. You have to take a city bus. There is massive construction in the area and the dust can be pretty bad at times, but that is par for the course in all of Vegas these days. Would go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly new park. Apprx. 10 mi. from the strip (20 min.) Very nice spa & club house. About 1.5 mi. from I-515 but very quiet (No airport noise). Giving this park a 10! Not very many parks that I would rate a 10. Have stayed at many of the parks in Las Vegas and this is best by far. This is a new park with a great staff and amenities. Not real close to the strip but one of the things I like about it. No noise like some of the parks south of town. Best take a look at their web site. Web site tells it all! Usally have some type of discount--so ask! One other thing a great club house with a computer on line for public use. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very tight sites here even though they say Big Rig capable. We had a pull-thru with a 40' rig and couldn't park the tow vehicle in front of the fifth wheel trailer. The whole place smells of dog urine. Too many residents with dogs and not enough space to run them. With windows open the smell was terrible. The smell of sewers was bad too. That could be because of the tight cramming in of too many sites and violations of sewer hookup rules. Many year 'round residents in old run down, worn out camping trailers. This place can't decide if it's an RV Resort or a trailer park for low income residents. Managers keep the grounds clean (except for the dog urine which they attempt to spray for but can't keep up with) and facilities are clean but old campers and sites full of stored boxes of "stuff" are a real eye sore and detractor. I don't know if these older trailers are legacy from the previous park owners but there is no enforcing of the current rules about sewer connections, air conditioners (which hang out of windows of these older trailers), junk stored on the site, charcoal barbecue grills versus gas, chimineas, etc. This place is pricey for what it is. The 24 hour guarded gate is nice but it is completely incongruent with the overall look and feel of the park and is not worth the price overall. Would not recommend and will not stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean, well-kept campground. They have 24/7 security at the gate which is nice but you are paying for it. Kind of pricey here, and some sites are merely parking lot type sites. We had a site with gravel which was better. It is close to Sam's Town and Boulder Station casinos and not far to drive to the strip or downtown. However, if you have a dog, you might consider staying elsewhere. The park is not pet-friendly. You have to get your dog to the pet run area. Your dog is not allowed to potty on your site. Well, dogs have their own ideas about that! There are only 2 "Pet Runs", one is fenced and one is not. They stink really bad. The park does their best to clean them but there are so many dogs in the park, that very little helps the smell. Also, as others have mentioned, it is getting too expensive to stay in Vegas for a month and so if we come to Vegas again, we will probably just spend a few nights at Sam's Town. We paid $636.75 for the month plus we have to pay electric on top of that. We would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't for the pet situation. Too pricey, but a nice park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an adult park. Must be 21+ and no children are allowed to stay. The staff are also residents on the camp-worker program and thus being campers themselves are extremely helpful and friendly. There is no shade in this park at the campsites. All the sites are paved and level. They have an excellent club-house with a heated pool and jacuzzi. Many of the residents are snowbirds or contract workers who often spend months here or until their contracts are completed. This campground is located in a outstanding area of town. It's cross street with Flamingo and Tropicana which take you right down to the middle of the strip. The main strip is about 3-miles away. The Sam's Town hotel/casino is just a block away. Super Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, Smart and Final and Trader Joe's are all close by. The main gate is manned 24/7 by a security guard. There is easy access to the 515 which will get you to all the other freeways and around town. This park has monthly pot-luck dinners in the club-house. The campground itself is built more like a parking-lot with little to none for landscaping but it's quiet, friendly and has an excellent location. I am using a pull-through space and paying $620.00 per month + electricity. I highly recommend this park We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park with friendly staff. Gate was manned 24/7. Has a pool and spa but had problems with the heater causing the pool to be closed several days. This park is OK and the staff is very friendly. It has more of a trailer park atmosphere than an RV park. There are mostly permanents here. They do keep all rigs looking nice and no clutter around them. People under 21 are not allowed. It was 114 degrees while we were there and the palm trees, although nice, provided no shade. The sites are blacktop with gravel between so it was HOT. Our friends were coming in on the 4th, the office was closed, and the guard shack had no info on there arrival. When they did arrive they were placed in a site 3 rows away from us because their site, near us, was still occupied and no one could explain why. The site next to us was open the whole time we were there but they would not put our friends there. The roads are narrow and most sites are hard to get into for a 40 foot or bigger. Our friend’s 42 foot motorhome was guided into a water faucet by the park staff and suffered damage. The park did say their insurance would pay for repairs. A trash trucks came into the park every other day at 6 am and woke everyone up banging dumpsters around. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been here for 5 nights so far and really like it. The park is clean, well maintained, showers are spotless, staff has been very friendly. WiFi is free and has worked well. We have used pool and hot tub almost every night, nice to relax in after walking the strip all day. The only thing that would have made it better is cable TV. Sites are a little close together, but provide plenty of room for slides, etc. The park is not pet friendly,requiring the use of two small gravel and fenced areas. We arrived minutes after the office closed, and our reservation was not on security gate computer. The security supervisor was moderately rude, but we were able to convince him our reservation was legitimate and we were provided the site we reserved (not level, but paved). We were not provided the restroom key, which we later had to pay a $5 (refundable) cash deposit for. Mostly permanent or long term residents, but very clean, quiet and security was 24 hr. No cable, but satellite worked fine, and staff in office VERY apologetic about reservation mix-up. One shower room was left very messy by thoughtless occupant in front of us, but generally very well maintained, nice and large individual rooms. 37' motorhome with toad. The best place to stay in Las Vegas! We have stayed or looked at all the RV sites and this has our vote for the best overall. We will be staying again this November and December. Located on Nellis Blvd. close to Sam's Town. The sites are well kept, the dog poop station is disinfected twice a day, the hosts are wonderful, the rest rooms are immaculate, the pool is great, and the neighbors are wonderful. Security 24 hours a day, wifi is with an outside source and is good. Off the strip and downtown by about 15 minutes, close enough but far away enough to get away from it all. When I called to get info on this "park", I was told that there was shade, that it was kid friendly, that we would have use of the hotel facilities. However, what I got was a parking lot. No shade with the exception of 4 spots. Kid friendly. Homeless people all around the area. People from area told us we were not safe. Only time they saw security was after a big incident. I have yet to see any security. "Dog Area" long way away. Using the hotel pool will be pretty much impossible. It is down the street on the other side of a 4 lane road. Internet only available if you bring laptop inside casino/hotel lobby. Again, have to walk long way to use anything. Only good thing is the price. But I would rather pay more for a place where I feel safe and family can feel comfortable. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I found this park while looking for an RV place close to downtown where we were meeting relatives. I read the reviews here, looked at the image on Google Earth, and decided to give it a try. Despite the good reviews, we were still a little nervous as it sits next to the freeway and is basically an extension of the Main Street Station Casino parking lot, thus wondering how safe it would be. Our anxiety went up when, at the last minute (literally 20 minutes before departure) our babysitter was not able to watch our kids, thus we would have to bring them with (driving in from Phoenix). Once we arrived, however, I became more comfortable and by the end of our 2 nights, realized our worrying was not necessary. The park was clean and kid friendly as we saw several other families staying in the park. Positives: Close to downtown casinos, safe (saw security driving through frequently, and you can't beat the rate. Negatives: Close to freeway and the noise was audible (I solved by using ear plugs the first night & turning the roof fan on the second night). Second bad thing was that we were near a garbage dumpster and at some point in the night or very early AM, a truck came into the park and emptied it. Was very loud. We will definitely stay here again as you cannot beat the location or price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Another great deal. We extended our stay to six nights. Sites are all asphalt. There are sandy pet walks that people kept very clean but very few shady sites. This place is very close to the Downtown Transportation Center where you can get any number of city buses, including the Deuce, a Strip-only double decker. It is also close to the Freemont Street Experience. The staff was friendly. The nearby highway noise did not bother us at all. We were too exhausted to be kept awake. Yes, it is an asphalt camping lot. But it does have 50 amp power, water, and sewer in downtown Las Vegas for $18 a night. The Freemont street Experience is only 4 blocks away. There is some freeway noise, but it is a constant so it masks itself. There is WI-FI if you are desperate for it $6.99 per hour. Our Verizon aircard worked extremely well so we didn't need their pricey wi-fi. This would have been a 10 but freeway noise, pricey wi-fi, and the dog run was quite a hike made me drop it to an 8. This quiet out of the way campground is a jewel in a fast paced city. Located in Old Town Vegas it is close to the bus station so you could catch "The Duce" and ride it to the strip. Pick your site and then register at the hotel desk where the folks are friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this campground and extended our stay there with no problem at all. Yes it is a parking lot, but the spaces are adequately sized and level and the electricity and water easy accessed. Bathrooms and laundry are clean / reasonably priced. We could not find wireless internet, so unless it's available only in "premium" sites, I would not count on it. There is highway noise, but it is constant and so does not interfere with sleep. We saw security bicycling around and felt relatively safe here. The best things about this park are the price and the location. Less than half a mile to Fremont St Experience and the Downtown Station (bus terminal) to take you to the Strip for $2 per ride or $5 for the day. We had a little trouble getting here because of an accident and not knowing exactly where it is. It is North of the Main Street Station hotel (which is 200 N. Main) and on the opposite side of the street (right if you are going North). I don't believe there is a 14 day limit any longer, and no one asked us about pets (though we don't have any). If you like the downtown Vegas area this park is right there. They have constant security checking the area, so it is safe to stay in. We had two 40' DP's with slides and had to watch out for poles and each other when parking. We ended up with about 3 feet between us to sit and visit. Base rate was 16.00 and they charge a buck for each pet. The park is a parking lot, but there is shade in the back but those sites only have 30amp. If you like the downtown area and don't need much space to walk around your rv, this is ok. For the money it sure beats the Circus Circus KOA in my book. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice large sites, easy to get in and out of. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient to sightseeing in area. Red Rock Canyon is worth the ride. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent park if you wish to be in Las Vegas during late June. Temp 100 degrees +. Sites are large, clean and everything is well maintained. They seem to have good security. They have an on site restaurant that provides adequate breakfast and dinner. Close to the Strip and provisioning is easy. A down and dirty casino is very nearby and you can lose there just as well as anywhere else. We stayed five nights. The rate reflects an average, including tax, because some of the daily rate was discounted at 10% while some were discounted at 20%. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The spots are large, easy to maneuver, and clean. The staff is very helpful. When asked to clear our spot of sand from an evening rainstorm, a crew got to work immediately. We were entertaining our two granddaughters, and found the pool spotless, and full of friendly children. A second large pool is reserved for adults 18 or older. The sandy beach around the pool is good for hours of fun with sand toys. The coffee shop on the grounds is not much to boast about, but adequate, and the children will welcome. We make this park our base camp when we go to Las Vegas, and we were not disappointed this time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has it all! When you arrive, you see that it is clean and very well kept. The staff are very friendly and inviting. The sites are perfectly level and the connections are exactly where they should be. There are several extra features of this park. It has two beautiful swimming pools and a hot tub. The family swimming pool is laid out like a beach (with real sand and a waterfall). The 18 hole putting course is fun to play. The clubhouse has a small restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (and it is not too pricey). At your check in, they give you coupons for up to two drinks and a discount for your next stay. The location is only about 5 miles directly south of the Strip just off of Las Vegas Blvd. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. But if you just don't feel like going out, there is a small store in the clubhouse that stays open fairly late. This park is about as close to a true resort that you will find in an RV park. Although it is pricey, it has plenty of extra value-added features to make it worth it. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the nicest rv park we've been to yet. There was nothing left to be desired. It's not too far from the strip but in a area thats not very busy. Security did there rounds and I felt at ease while my daughter rode her bike. Everyone was really nice. Spaces were great, even the standard spaces seemed pretty good. Definitly big rig friendly. They also have a rv detailing business on site, which was great. We can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The campsite was very clean and easy to get into. We arrived after hours and the staff was very helpful as was the staff in the morning. The hookups were great for our rig. The sites were a little close together and did not have a ton of shade. The biggest drawback to the park was it was difficult to get back onto I-15. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park. They have TONS of play area for dogs and the park is large enough to walk your dogs around. We stayed an extra night just because it was a great place and conveniently located next to the strip. We don’t have kids, but the pool and areas for children looked great. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers were very large and spacious. No fear taking a shower here! The site was moderately sized. We had a small plot of grass and a bit of shade. Most sites are on gravel. The store needs a few modern conveniences. They did not sell postcard stamps, which surprised me. They also had a restaurant, but did not sell espresso drinks. We would have ranked them a 10 if the price was a bit more reasonable and the sites more spacious. There was also a barking do next to us, which carried on for two days before mgt. spoke to the owners. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice part, sites are adequate, though not exceptionally big. They have nice pools, one being adults only; an on site restaurant and bar; a workout facility (adequate at best). They have on site security and a guarded entry that is nice. For an upscale, and expensive, facility their lack of free WI-FI, it's $6 per day (ridiculous) and limited cable channel selection, about 20, is irritating. We stay here because they do have some grassy areas and good pet walk areas, which is needed for our dog, unlike the majority of those in the area that are big parking lots, and it's close to our daughter's house. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a huge RV park that bills itself as a resort. However, the only resort aspect is the nightly cost. It does feature two pools (adult and children), and all sites are clean and well kept. We stayed in a premium site, but the picnic table was located at the wrong end of the pad making it unusable. My wife received a surprise the first night around 8:30 PM, when she stepped out the door and received a soaking from the irrigation system. When I asked why the sprinklers came on so early, the only answer I received is that the whole park is on a timer system. The park does have several laundry facilities, conveniently located, with good equipment. The least desirable aspect of the park is the extra $6.00 per night charge for wifi that barely works. The park does not offer a shuttle to the strip, and a taxi ride is around $25.00 one-way. It is doubtful that I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight and it is convenient from the Interstate. The downside of that is that there is a good deal of road noise. Although we did not go to the strip, it is not far away. No shuttle, but by car it is probably 5-10 minutes. The landscaping, pool, clubhouse are very nice, but the showers and toilets let them down. They are very old and were very dirty when I used them. It is OK for an overnight stay, but the roadnoise and dirty showers/toilets would keep me away for a longer stay. Small cafe/restaurant in the clubhouse is nice and is good for a quick meal. We enjoyed this resort. Easy access to the strip and rental car agency. The pools were just beautiful; there were two, one for families, and one for just adults. The pool areas had fountains, water fall, beautiful landscaping and plenty of relaxation. The park was clean, concrete pads. The entrance had a security check every day. There was a restaurant on the property with good food. Supply store. It was lovely and a beautiful place to stay. I would suggest this place over any other in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our rate reflects a 2-for-1 rate for Nevada residents. Great park with resort like amenities. Good location with easy freeway access and close to all the major attractions. We could not get wi-fi at our site and were told we were in a "dead spot." Worked fine at the clubhouse though. I think this is the best bet in Vegas! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed three nights in a premium spot (near the pool and office). There are two large pools with lots of shade and enough lounge chairs. The washrooms are clean uni-sex with showers and toilets. WiFi is good but expensive ($5.95 for 24 hours) Park has a pitch and putt 18 hole course,(very short) but the greens are in bad shape. Garbage collection is daily. There is a large dog walk area. Staff are friendly and helpful. The park is an easy drive to the Strip and close to shopping. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Huge park that is very busy. The streets are narrow and congested as they really pack the RVs in tight, but we were able to maneuver our rig with tow without any problems. Good location convenient to the Strip and other nearby casinos. My biggest complaint is that their Wi-Fi is not free and they charge $5.99 per day for it -- that's exorbitant. The standard is free Wi-Fi in any RV park and I've come to expect it. Otherwise, we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

They offered a Nevada locals discount. Pay for first night, get second night free. We opted for the deluxe site and glad we did. We were very close to the pool and had a nice strip of grass at our site for the dog. This is a RV resort and not our normal campground. OK for being in the city. Close to the outlet mall on Las Vegas Blvd and about 2 miles south of the strip. Lots of freeway noise. No access to turn left when leaving the resort (part of the reason we stayed here was we were enroute to Pahrump via the Blue Diamond Hwy - same street this resort is on). We turned right and had to find a large shopping center parking lot to turn around to head west on Blue Diamond. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall, a nice park that's conveniently located for Las Vegas visitors. Very nice, "tropical" common areas around the pool and office complex and good security. A major fault of this park that will keep me from returning (and caused me to rate it lower) is the horrendous wireless internet system--it costs $5.95/day extra and would not work at my site, even though I paid extra for a supposedly "deluxe" site. Three other friends traveling in our group experienced the same at their sites and were very unhappy about it as all needed to stay in contact with their businesses, families, etc. We were forced to pay the daily (or weekly) internet usage rate and sit in the office lobby where the signal was strong enough to work. In this day and age, wireless internet is essential for many of us and should be free and reliable. From talking with staff, complaints about the crummy wireless system are frequent and long-standing, and apparently the park management refuses to do anything about it. Accordingly, I checked the box indicating that Wi-Fi is NOT available since for all intents and purposes it is not. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very interesting RV park in that it catered to all types of RVs and was very busy all the time we stayed there. It is well managed and the property was well cared for, however the photos on the web site embellish the overall look of the park quite a bit it is still an excellent facility to stay while exploring the Las Vegas area. In comparison, we visited the now in Chapter 11 Monaco’s Signature Resorts Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort to find it unkempt, weeds growing everywhere and many, many empty spaces. A sign on the door announced payment only either cash or checks would be accepted. It was very sad to see this. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For future camper information, we just traveled the USA for four months and the advertised WiFi was the most expensive and kicked us off line. The "adult" pool as advertised allows children because they won't heat the childrens pool. The advertised grassy areas in the camp sites have brown grass from the animals using them for you know what. FYI We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a really nice park !! We had a pull-through deluxe site and found it clean and large. Plenty of room on both sides for slides, awnings, or whatever. Site came with a picnic table but no fire pit. Good cable channels available. Although I like the security at the front gate, I would like to see two lanes; one for new arrivals and one for registered guests. Long lines formed behind the new arrivals and it was not uncommon to be "stuck" there for five - ten minutes only to be waved by when the guard sees the guest tag hanging from mirror. Lots of amenities and entire park super-clean. I was unable, however, to find a jungle-gym or playground for the kids. WiFi fees do nothing but upset travelers and I would urge Oasis to drop this. I used an ATT data card and had perfect 3G speed. Oasis has a nice family movie night with free popcorn inside the club-house. If not for the long lines at the gate, lack of playground, & free WiFi, I would have given them a perfect 10 !! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a deluxe site. Bathrooms were spotless. Love the view of the Mandalay Bay and the Luxor from the park. Great dog walk areas. Best park in the country, as far as I am concerned. Very good security and a guard gate at the entrance. I did take one point off for very expensive wi-fi. We used our cell modems and got excellent results. Beware, the Silverton shuttle will pick you up, but will NOT bring you back to the Oasis! I found out the hard way and had to take a cab from the mall back to the park! Rate reflects a deluxe site in the week with a 10% Good Sam discount (rates are more expensive at the weekend). On all our travels through every state in the US this is one of the few 'RV Resorts' that is truly like a resort. The pool area is gorgeous with lots of wonderful palm trees, making you feel as if you're staying in an upmarket hotel. The adult pool was warm enough to swim around comfortably and the hot tub was great - we made some good friends sitting in their chatting! The deluxe site we had was a good sized pull through with a table and benches (you don't get a table in the standard sites), plus the deluxe sites are closer to the amenities. There are also premium sites but they don't really give you any advantage over the deluxe, they might over look the mini golf course but you have to back in. The security is excellent, both at the gate and with guards driving round all the time. They have a number of activities going on, we went to the Saturday night karaoke which was very good to watch and dance, even if you don't sing (there was some excellent talent there). On your first night you're given a coupon for two free drinks at the bar, they have some nice tables and chairs outside with in-table fires. The Silverton casino next door offers a free shuttle and their buffet is supposed to be good. Otherwise you need to get your own transport down to the strip but it isn't far. The only real downsides to this park is that firstly they have no free wi-fi, based on the prices they charge and the fact that everyone wants wi-fi these days I feel this is very stingy. Secondly there are no discounts for weekly stays, prices are either for daily rates or monthly. Lastly the staff on reception aren't as hospitable as you'd expect from a resort of this caliber. Despite these small things it's a great place to stay and we'll definitely be going back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A pretty nice park. The area was convenient and safe. It was much better on safety and convenience than other parks we drove past in the area. The management was friendly. We were there during Christmas and needed to extend our stay and they were very accommodating. The sites were pretty good. Just a bit too close together for our tastes. They had several pet areas. We were very turned off by the odor inside the pet confined areas. It was so bad that even my dog wouldn't use it! LOL. Cable reception was not the best. Otherwise, it was a pretty good place. We stayed here using Resort Parks International, hence the rate. The park is very well maintained and appears to have continuous security patrol. Individual bathrooms are spotless as are the laundries. There is a good store on site and very helpful staff. It is well positioned at the south end of the "Strip". There was a record snow fall while we were here but no problems with water supply. We especially like having a phone line at our site at no charge. To avoid the Wi-Fi charge we used dial up which was slower but free!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the Oasis for 5 nights. We had the reservation for 6+ months and were informed that the rates went up Nov. 1. We checked in on the 5th. Not by much - $2.00 per day I think. The park is beautiful and someone is always mowing, weed eating, sweeping or something. They keep it pristine. The park is in a great location. Security was tight. We enjoyed our stay there. This park is in a great location. It is very clean. They had constant security. It was nice to have a restaurant on site. Activities held daily. They have several dog runs to let your dog loose. The sites are a bit close together which made it tight when they were full. It seems best to pull your rig forward all the way and park behind. Easy access to all the freeways. We asked for the premium site and were very disappointed to be in a "sardine can"; very, very narrow sites for $50/night. Don't waste your money, as we were told the only difference is that you're closer to the pool (which was not heated)! This is a "resort" type park and as such has plenty going on and two great pools and spa, very well stocked shop, great breakfasts at the cafe and I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful indeed. The sites are level and have plenty of room, sewer hookups could be better placed however. For this type of site I found the prices very reasonable, free Wi-fi wouldn't go amiss though. One problem is that since the Strip Trolley went bust there's little transport to the strip for those minus a car, Cabs are easily available and its currently about $20 to the south end of the strip. The Good: All paved, sites with grassy yards. Most sites are fairly level. Friendly staff, nice pool area. VERY well equipped RV store with lots of parts you just don't find in most parks. The Bad: Internet access!!! In this day and age most RV parks charging half as much offer FREE INTERNET! Here it costs another $5.95 PER COMPUTER over the park fees. For that charge you get what is clearly spelled out as "AS/IS, AS AVAILABLE" service, which means that the service 2 rows over from the main building was so bad we quit trying to get our Email in frustration. the hookups are strangely located in the center of each site. I have a 15' sewer hose and could not reach the dump, that's a first in almost 30 years of RVing for me. Very little shade especially in the pull through sites which is where most rigs are parked. I know most people who stay here are mesmerized by the pool but we just aren't those kind of RVrs. Give me a level site, with hookups I can reach and good Internet for $30 and I am a happy camper. If you want an overpriced campground and no Internet access for your stay in Vegas this is the park for you. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Level pull thru sites with full hookups. We had a premium site, close to the pool with a patio & picnic table. Very nice campground. This was a halfway stop on our way home, but we plan on returning for Las Vegas trip. This park is very well organized which you will experience as soon as you drive in. They have thought of everything. There seems to be a lot of rules but nothing unreasonable. We knew we were in Vegas when a woman jogged by with a dog wearing sunglasses and running shoes on it's paws! They have a nice store and restaurant on site. The pool was great except not enough lounge chairs. Las Vegas traffic and parking isn't RV friendly, so the office staff has an arrangement with local taxis to pick you up at your site. They used to offer a shuttle service but this had been discontinued. The sites are new, level concrete with nice hookups. The site size is adequate and there is a small patch of grass. There are no picnic tables or other amenities at the site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is THE nicest RV Park that we have seen. Many RV parks like to use the word “resort” in their name, but this is the only one that we have used that actual lived up to that name. The facilities are much like that of a hotel. The pools are beautiful, and there are many activities for parents and kids. Campsites were reasonably priced at $33, but Wi-Fi was an additional $6 a day. We would stay here again when traveling through Las Vegas, although we will think twice about going to Las Vegas at the end of July (hot!). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice resort. The pool was awesome. The sites were big pull thrus. We would stay here again if in Las Vegas. It would have been nice to have a shuttle take you to the strip so you don't have to un- hook. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This resort is great! at the south end of The Strip. Extremely clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I love they have a family and a separate adult pool. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and decorated with trees, plants and waterfalls. There is a small campground store at the resort as well as a nice restaurant with reasonable prices and good food. 24/7 security. There are enough dog runs although a bit of grass at the runs would be nice so some rude people who didn't want to pay extra for a site with grass wouldn't use the grass at the sites from other people who did pay extra. We will definitely come back here soon! One of the best resorts we stayed at. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A surprisingly busy park in 112 degrees...but tightly run, clean and pleasant. It is very convenient to the Strip, and although no shuttle service is available, the drive is not far and parking is free at the casinos. We chose a "standard" site, which was on the periphery of the park, with no picnic table. Although there are small, new trees, the sites are generally not shaded, and we were actually glad to be in a site shaded at times by a huge condo complex next door. The two saltwater pools were a great feature; those not wanting to be splashed by kids can opt for the adult pool. Dog friendly, with numerous runs, if you are a responsible owner...posted $50 fine for not cleaning up after your dog and interestingly, a $25 reward for any camper reporting such. Security verifies that your sewer hookup is appropriate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

For the price, this is the best RV park that I have stayed in. The amenities are outstanding. The park's roads are all paved, as are the individual sites. All sites are separated by grass. The "office" is really a combination of office, banquet rooms, store with slot machines, bar, restaurant, etc. It is a very nice park. One of the items that I truly appreciated was the security. You have to check into the park each time you enter. It is Vegas, after all. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very large Park, close to the strip about 2 to 3 miles. Staff surprisingly friendly based on how large this place is. Two separate pools, one open to everyone, and another pool dedicated to adults only, 18 and up - nice touch. It's hard to believe this place is in the middle of 110 degree heat with all the vegetation around. Sites have a little manicured tuft of grass with picnic table. Hook-ups nice and neat, no rusty, leaning, leaking hook-ups. Lots of security walking around throughout the day. There were restaurants and bars in the park, I used the bar for a drink by the pool, it was hot. It is Vegas so keep that in mind, but not too much craziness going on. They did have internet but for 5-6.00 a day I didn't use it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

No question this a good RV park, although site size varies quite a bit. Select a "premium" site for only a few bucks more. I'm only giving it an 8 because an RV Park this size should have free Wi-Fi instead of charging. The Wi-Fi also doesn't reach all parts of the park. This is 2008. Wi-Fi isn't a luxury, anymore. Also, they cut out the shuttle to the strip. Big disappointment since the full page TL ad promotes it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our only true gripe about Oasis is that the rate doesn't include Wi-Fi. They charge $5.99 per day; and then the connection is spotty, depending on your site location. The laundry facilities are wonderful. New, clean machines; and they only charge .75. The swimming pools are great. Location is perfect. Close enough to the Strip and to shopping, but far enough away to be quiet. Easy access to sites with our 45' rig. Great security. Nice folks at the front desk. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great RV Resort, but I do agree with the other posts to do an upgrade to a Premium Site as the ones in the other section are back to back sites. The pool is great with some shade actually, and you need it here! The laundry was nice and clean and had everything you need. I would like to see the shuttle to the strip as traffic is very busy; it is Vegas. For a side trip go to Red Rock Canyon, about a 20 minute drive for great scenery when you lose all your money. I would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our third stay here, and it was for 10 days. This is truly an Oasis, and will be missed if(and when) it is sold. Lots of rumors going around, including the employees. Has become more dog friendly, still a sewer smell (depending on the wind), and the folks at the front desk still work hard. The place is quite clean, considering the massive turnover during any given week. Planned activities are fun, but the shuttle to South Pointe does not exist anymore. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I can't think of anything reasonable that would have made this park any better. It is well maintained and very clean. The pool area is very nice with lots of tables and fire pits for in the evening. They have a small coffee shop in the clubhouse and a shop where general RV supplies can be bought. Most of the spaces are pull through with concrete slabs and a small plot of grass. We stayed there for NASCAR the past two seasons, and will continue to do so as long as they are open. Access to the park is easy from the freeway (1 block) and the Strip is just minutes away. If there is a negative, it is that there always seems to be a mis-directed piece of the irrigation system that soaked a part of our patio each time we have stayed there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay though the sites were very narrow and tight. Well managed and offers many services and facilities. Enjoyed the resort style pools & hot tub. They separated "family pool" and "adult pool" so you get to enjoy your pool time nice & quiet. The breakfast @ Rick Cafe was a pleasure. Nice sunny room with great service and food. They had RV washing crews in the resort so, you can get your RV cleaned whenever you want. Great site and will definitely return! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

What an awesome place to stay! Clean sites, beautiful pools, nice putting greens. Yes, there are planes overhead - but where can you stay in Vegas to get away from them? I paid for a deluxe pull through site that had grass and was nicely located next to amenities. If you don't pay for that, you may end up way in the back where it's just concrete and rocks. One of the best parks in which we have stayed. Helpful staff and security people, excellent sites, full service, helpful on-site repair services, clean, and pet friendly. Only downside is their WiFi system. Availabale at all sites, but in reality many sites varied from 54 Mbps to 1 Mbps. If WiFI is important to you, make sure that the reservation person assigns you a good WiFi site. Overall, great service, ameneties and security. Would definitely stay here again. This was our first time at this park. The numerous other reviews cover just about everything. The Wi-Fi was too expensive, but it worked great at our site. There are sites where it does not work so if you plan to use it be sure to mention this at check in. We didn’t really hear any noise from I-15, and apparently the condo construction (mentioned in other reviews) is far enough along so that there is no noticeable noise. We only heard a very small number of planes, and they weren’t that loud. There are several categories of sites and naturally the less expensive ones are closer together. We chose a deluxe site and felt that the space was adequate, but could be better. Overall we were very comfortable here, and we had no problems. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The office, pool area, and cafe are spectacular. The electricity was solid and the water pressure was about 55psi. We paid extra for wireless broadband, which worked moderately well. The signal strength is not very high and occasionally the system would not respond for a short time. This is a VERY large park and the sites are barely adequate. We stayed here when the park was full, over Nascar weekend, and it was claustrophobic. There is a lot of rv traffic all day long as people are leaving and arriving. The airplane noise is deafening when the planes are taking off over the park. There is constant road noise from I-15. Because the sites are so close there is also a lot of barking dogs noise. RPI members can stay here for $10/night which is a bargain, but we paid the posted rates and felt that it was overpriced. If you want to be in Las Vegas and near the shopping and casinos this is still a good choice. It's probably the best you can do in Las Vegas. There are cheaper places but here you need to be concerned about security and this park is in a better part of town. I'd stay here again if I had to be in Las Vegas, but reserve far in advance and get one of the 'Deluxe Pullthrough' sites with more room. I'd rather have my rv someplace else, with no smog, noise, and big city-ness. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a huge park but doesn't have that impersonal feeling at all. Staff was excellent, always speaking and offering help. We loved the cafe on site and made use of the on site store too. Laundry was clean and there are several scattered around the complex. We were able to get our coach cleaned up on site and propane delivered to us. This is a great place to stay for a Vegas trip. It is located just off the south strip, easy to get to the casinos. Sites are large and level with a picnic table. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is just south of the famous Las Vegas strip. Trolley service available to the strip and casino's ($2.50/day, unlimited use). Also dedicated regular service to local casino's nearby. The park is near the airport, but noise is not a problem. Across the freeway from a Bass Pro Shop, fun to visit anytime. The swimming pools are heated (great this time of year), there is a small cafe on site and convenience/supply store. Lobby area is similar to a grand hotel. I did not give a 10 because many of the sites are piggy back. This often requires some rigs to back in. Your neighbor is either right in front of you or right behind you. Pull through sites look teriffic - those spaces have a picnic table and grass. Pet owners, note: there is a $50 fine for not cleaning up after your pet and there is a $25.00 reward for those who report non-compliant pet owners. We stayed here over the New Year's weekend. This park has festivities and a party planned, including dinner and drinks for $30/person. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great park in a ideal location. Yes the airport is close and the planes are frequently loud, but it is due to the almost right on top of the strip location of both. Getting around was very easy. Access to the park and from the park was a snap. The WiFi was "down for a few days" and therefore I didn't have to pay (not sure I would have as used my air card for my lap-top). The pull thru site I had was well appointed if a little close to the neighbors. I didn't use the pool but the area looked pretty good and the lobby and registration area gives you the feeling of entering a grand hotel. The staff was very helpful. No escort to the site, but detailed directions made it easy to find. I look very much forward to returning. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent a week at this park and enjoyed the stay. But as usual, there are pluses and minuses. On the plus side, the park has some very nice amenities, such the pools, a nice restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch, a well-stocked RV store, a full spread of hookups and clean washrooms. On the negative side, there can be considerable highway noise due to the nearby freeway. My major gripe, though, is the overpriced internet access. $5.95/day or $19.95/week is just too much. However, the service is quite good, but at that price I would expect a wired network connection or at least the 'N' standard for the WiFi. I may return to Oasis, but I will check out other RV Parks first. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the nicest park you will find in Las Vegas but they make you pay for it. It has more amenities than any park I've ever been in. But you must realize this is a noisy place. There are two high-rise condos being built on the east side and you will be awakened to the construction. Then if the wind is out of the SW which it is often here the planes will be taking off just overhead from McCarran airport. But I guess my biggest beef with the place is the lousy internet service. WIFI is no longer a luxury in my mind and many places are starting to offer it for free. Oasis charges $5 a day for it and it is frustrating. Even if you can get a good signal, the bandwidth is being shared across too many users. For a place this nice, this is a real weakness. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is beautiful and well maintained. When we called and made reservation we specifically requested a site with grass because we have two small dogs. When we arrived, they had us in a site with hardly any grass. After insisting, we finally got a site with more grass. Their dog park is all gravel and outside the park. The dog runs are dirt/gravel. Once again, they advertised WiFi but we were not able to get on for any length of time and it is an additional fee. We used the laundry facilities which were clean. They also had a shuttle service to the strip area which was convenient. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The Oasis is the premier RV campground in Las Vegas. It is located just off the Interstate-15 but not so close as to hear traffic. The campground is extensively landscaped and looks beautiful. They have an outstanding club-house with a small RV store and restaurant. They offer 2-pools and a jacuzzi along with a golf putting green. They give out free donuts and coffee on the weekend. They also provide worship services on Sunday. They have a shuttle coming around every 30 minutes to whisk you downtown to the strip. I can't remember exactly but it's either Friday night or Saturday night entertainment with hors d'oeuvre are provided. You can sing along or dance to the music. This campground is a little more pricey than most of the other RV campgrounds in Las Vegas but it is well worth it and well below what they could be charging. This campground offers daily, weekly and monthly rates. They also are part of the camp-worker program and do offer jobs to residents. They have a manned gate 24/7 for security. This campground is located in a very good area of town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I over nighted for two nights at this RV park as a RPI member. This is a class act RV park. They have all the typical amenities including a tropical theme pool site and an on-site RV washing/waxing/Detailing service. They have several different price levels of RV sites to meet all budgets. The most expensive sites had nice large lawn areas with large palm trees for shade. The less expensive sites located at the rear of the park are still rather large paved sites (both pull-through and back-ins)with adjacent small sand/gravel plots for setting up lounge chairs etc. There is good lighting throughout the park which makes for safe nighttime walks around the park during the summer which allows one get exercise for their dogs while avoiding the hot summer daylight hours. Check-in was efficient, and the park was relatively easy to find. However, the newly configured exit 33 makes it difficult to return to southbound I-15. Pads were concrete with grassy sites, and some trees. Very well maintained and very clean, although we did not use the restrooms, showers, laundry, or pool areas. The pool did look very nice, however. Although close to the freeway and airport, it was very quiet. A drive out to Red Rock Canyon (west of town) is a nice break from the casinos. What can I say. This is Vegas. And this park went all out to accommodate the RVer!! Some think the price is high, I think for what you get it is a bargain, especially if you have a family. We paid $39.00 a night with a GOOD SAM discount. Beautiful facility, couldn't get any cleaner, great staff. Has small cafe for breakfast and lunch, reasonable prices. Fully stocked retail store with about everything. Beautiful pools and landscaping. Have pool for families and a pool and spa for adult only. Also, an 18 hole putting course throughout the facility. We didn't notice the freeway traffic to much and there was air traffic but was very minimal. Has a trolley to the strip, 2 miles, but I don't recommend taking it unless you have a lot of time. Very nice park. Has all the bells and whistles you would expect and then some. Pools are great. The sites are a little cramped, but doable. With evening temps in the high 90's, not too many people are outside anyway. Shuttles were too long in coming for my taste so we drove to the strip both days we were there. Not a big deal but we only had 2 days there. One of the RV cleaning companies cleaned the rig across from me and did a nice job. If I wasn't travelling 500 miles the next day, I would have had them do mine as well. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Really enjoyed this Rv Resort. We had a deluxe paved pull through site with grass, picnic table and a tree. The grass at our campsite was sparse but still enjoyable for our pet. We had plenty our room for our mini van. The site was very clean with every amenity you would need to make a nice stay of it. We brought our family and this resort had something for everyone even our pet (dog runs and pet play area). Even though Vegas has a lot to do we enjoyed just hanging out at this resort. Exit ramp and access has changed since 2007 Trailer Life publication! Lost in Vegas (sounds like a TV show) so called the main number and they helped us find our way in. Rate reflects Triple A discount. Raging windstorm forced change in our plan/mad scramble to locate stopover: usually we pass Vegas by. Clean, neat, level concrete pads, efficient and friendly front desk. Our pull-through site was incredibly noisy from trucks air-braking for exit ramp: even drowned out planes approaching McCarran Airport. Very large RV resort, so will request quieter spot if we pass this way again. So much available on-site, we did not even unhook tow-vehicle. Waited out the 2-days of howling winds with excellent Verizon air-card satellite TV, and cell-phone reception. Good news: the winds kept adjoining construction team grounded while we were here...so can't comment on the morning reveille other reviewers have noted. Who sleeps in Vegas anyway? Not a bad park but not that special and really expensive. We have a 30 ft class A and had standard site #208 with FHU and some cable stations. We had to remove our tow hitch to back up far enough to park our towed car in front but once we got settled it was fine. We liked that we had some trees and grass around and no neighbor on one side. Even though we were backed up to I-15 we didn't have a problem with highway noise, the planes were much, much louder but didn't fly over all that often. Laundry was clean and quite serviceable. Our daily rate reflects two days mid-week and two days Easter holiday weekend ($15 more than regular daily rate). The park is very organized and easy to get in and out of, it was also easy to get to The Strip from the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Some noise from planes in the evening & trucks using retarders on the interstate in the early morning... but really not bad. Didn't hear any noise from the high rise construction that others had mentioned. The shuttle service is quite good but the one from the hotel only took you to the Mandalay Bay & you had to transfer to another. I would not hesitate to stay here whenever we visit Vegas. When you drive in, you feel like you are at a Five Star Resort. There is a beautiful office with big stairs going up to it, palm trees and lots of RVs. There are two gorgeous swimming pools, hot tub, an 18-hole putting course and an exercise room. Everything seemed very clean. We had a pull-thru site and it was level. Security came around the park often. They had entertainment one night by the pool. On the down side, I feel their website and ads are misleading. They claim they have WIFI and shuttle service to the strip. They don't tell you that even with the high cost per night to stay there, it still costs $6 per day for the WIFI and the trolley service to the Strip costs $13 for the day. Their brochure said the trolley starts at 9:30, the guy didn't come until 10:30 and it was noon before we got down to the middle of the Strip. They also don't give change on the trolley, so he got $15 from us. In addition, it was very noisy there. They were doing a lot of construction nearby and it went on day and night. You could also hear the traffic and the planes from the nearby airport. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites here are way too small. Our 40' motorhome had to be parked so that the front was only 6" from the trailer in front of us, and we were still barely out of the street. There was enough parking space for our large toad, but that filled up the site. We kept our shades pulled the whole time we were there, because you couldn't see anything but other RVs. We left our AC fan on all night, in a futile attempt to drown out the freeway and airplane noise. No way this park is worth $40- but that is Vegas! We won't stay here again! We have stayed here many times over the last few years. There is grass at each site, and plenty of room. Be aware, they are building two 20 story condo buildings directly behind the park, and the construction cranes run from 4AM to 10PM. Thankfully, we were here just one night. You will not sleep past 4AM with the construction noise, and diesel fumes fill the air. I would avoid this upscale park until at least next fall if you want any peace and quiet. We stayed at the Oasis from the 28th of December until Jan. 10th. The price was high the first week due to demand and the park was sold out. It was more reasonable the second week. It was a very nice park, beautiful offices and pool along with 18 hole pitch and putting course. The park was 3 miles off the Las Vegas strip and had shuttle service available. The only drawback is we had a very tight spot in the back of the park and barely had enough room for my dually truck. They do have pull through sites some single and some double which i've never seen before. You can have a view of the inside of your neighbors r.v. because you're stacked on top of one another. I was pleased with the park and the security in the park and it was very well maintained. I would stay here again but I would make the reservation way ahead to make sure i got a good site with lots of room. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Facilities are quite nice. Fairly wide sites. Good access to downtown Las Vegas. The construction noise is intermittent now with only occasional excessive noise. the reason for the relatively low rating is dog noise. I am appalled at the owners who let their dog out on a leash to bark, particularly early in the morning. Near our site, a long termer had a pen that put her dog in early each morning. The dog would then bark as each of the responsible dog owners led their dogs down to the dog run to do their duty. So, she controlled when we woke up each a.m. Ranged between 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It's difficult to characterize this resort, as it is so big, no park models, next to I-15, and a short walk to Las Vegas Blvd. At first I wondered why they stayed in business, rather than sell to a developer, but I did some math (936 sites X $45 X 365 days= lots of money). I would have given it a 10 if it had the amenities we encounter at other "top end resorts" (i.e. newspaper at door, continental breakfast daily, free wi-fi). They discount for Good Sam, so I gave it a 9. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. Two pools, one for adults and one for children with beach. Pets are accepted as long as you are responsible and clean up after them. Even though we only paid the $10 RPI rate, this CG was not worth it. We were woken BEFORE 4AM this morning with the nearby construction work. This looks to be a long-term build too. The wi-fi cuts out every 2 minutes. The "cheaper" sites (699-884) have very little room - the front of our RV is 2 INCHES from the back of the 5th wheeler in front. There is less than 10 feet between sites. Our small "picnic area" has to be shared with our car and our neighbours sewer hookup. Avoid this campground, especially whilst construction is taking place nearby. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This could be a nice place but right now the building construction on the east side and interchange construction on the west side render it a noisy nightmare. Also our last night upon arriving found our camper completely infested, inside and out, with ants coming up the water and power lines. We used the trolley system to get to the strip and consumed about 3 hours each way just to get to the strip. We won't go here again for a long time. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Overall, this is a nice RV park. The bathrooms were clean. There were plenty of laundry facilities. The pools were nice. The store is very well stocked. For Vegas, from the reviews I've read, this park has nice sites comparatively, as they have some grass and trees around the sites rather than just concrete. During our stay, there was a construction site next door. We arrived on a Thursday night. Friday morning, I heard the construction start at 5:30, with air horns and heavy hammering included. I must have been tired Thursday, because Friday night they went all night long!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the standard we use to rate other resorts. The area is well appointed with a kid-friendly pool and the store and cafe are nice as well. We commenced our day at the cafe and then waited for the shuttle to take us to the strip for sightseeing. We do not tow a dinghy, so the reasonably priced shuttle made our stay very convenient. Park was very nice and clean. We used the laundry near our site and had no problems. We enjoyed the pool. The dog run was gated so our dog could be off leash but there was no easy access. We signed up for the wi-fi and even after spending 20 minutes on phone with support could not use. Waiting to see if we are billed for it on our credit card. Had to sign pet fine policy and when I told the office that the people next to us just tied dog up to table and never picked up the many piles. Security sent someone over to tell them to clean up but they did not honor to $25 reward policy. We would probably stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a classy RV park. The office is more like a lobby of a fancy casino, the store is well stocked, there is a restaurant inside, game room and three pools. A shuttle takes tenants to the strip. While we were there, the showers were inoperable . . . they could not be used. Days were about 105 degrees. Be careful as a wind comes up in the afternoon that can strip your awning off if out. Very nice Resort. We were only going to stay one night but we are still here and plan on staying for a few more days. This place is well run and CLEAN. Great security and friendly staff. Sites could be a little bigger. I noticed a comment on the late check out "fee". I also noticed this. I went and asked to see the Manager for an explanation. I was greeted with a smile and led into his office. He explained that when the Resort is full, as it was for the first four months this year, a lot of RVers would not leave and therefor occupy a site that was reserved for the next RVer. He then asked me how I would respond if I showed up and was told "your site still has someone in it and we can not find them" This "fee" ended this problem. Great Management if you ask me. This is a very nice park. Once inside the boundry, it is well landscaped and clean. We reserved a premium site and when we checked in, they gave us one, right on the in/out drive. I had told them that reservations had told us a site along the clubhouse, but they said since they had two rallies in, this is all they had. It was a back in, tight with a 34' fifth wheel and full size dually pick up. The staff has been congenial, yet not overly friendly. Security is everywhere ~ which is good. The other guests are great. Had trouble getting maintenance to fix a broken sprinkler which flooded our patio, but it is done. Close to the strip, with shuttle running all day and night as well as taxis. This park was excellent! I had almost considered passing it up after reading some of the prior reviews! So glad I didn't. I rate this park a 10. The spaces in the 400s are the best, east side of the pool. Away from the in-and-out traffic of the park, away from I-15. All spots on this east side are terrific, premium, deluxe or standard. We stayed at the park for 2.5 weeks and enjoyed it thoroughly! We would definitely stay there again. It truly is a Resort-type RV park that we love! Check them out online, it looks exactly like it does on their website. The staff were friendly to us, the pools were great, the trash was emptied several times a day, no bugs, and no watering problems as some of the others listed. The airport is close, but the noise was almost a non-issue. Not any different than any other city with an airport. I-15 noise was hardly noticeable in the park. Great trolley service to the strip. Crisp, clean pools with NO obnoxious chlorine smell! It was great! The staff keeps the place quite clean and we will definitely stay there in the future The "permanent" people were hardly visible and every unit/space was extremely clean and well kept. (Most of them work at the park). And I didn't find the visitors rude/unfriendly or snobbish. I would recommend it to anyone! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was the first time we stayed at the Oasis and it won't be the last. Each year that we visit Las Vegas,it will be the park of our choice. Large level sites either back in or pull thrus. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is nicely landscaped and have an 18 whole natural putting course. The park has several bathrooms and laundry rooms. Don't have to go far to locate one. They are kept very clean and the machines are all new. They have a weight room, two pools and a jacuzzi. The two pools, one for the adults and one for the kids. (Nice)! Oasis is so large the I was able to do my walking within the park. The park has 700 sites and they were all full when I was there. They have a shuttle to town for a small fee. There is an airport close by and there is some air traffic noice. They have entertainment all week long, such as an ice cream social or a movie at night. This is a great place to stay when you visit Las Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our 2nd stay here and it has not changed one bit, still an excellent RV park very close to the strip. This was the first time I used the showers and I am almost sad I didn't use them last time. Best showers I have ever seen at any park. Each shower room is in a private room with a toilet and sink. Not a row of showers where you are afraid somebody might open your curtain, you are secured inside with a lock. The pool is great, although I think the chlorine was a bit high, my eyes were bothering me the next day. Don't forget to ask for your frequent stayers card, I just got mine on this trip and they wouldn't tick me off for my visit 4 months ago, which was about the only thing that I thought was a little cheesy customer service wise. (my previous stay was logged on their computer) There are a few live-ins here and there, but they keep their sites neat and the whole place was very clean. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I want to add new information to the other reviews. There are levels of comfort at the park. We paid the RPI rate, and were required to stay in the outside perimeter of the park, which was all back-in on concrete. For a higher nightly rate, pull-thrus and grass are available. Our site was level and no problem at all. However, we were not within walking distance of the pools ( which are very nice, as is the clubhouse). WiFi signal was very strong and used it night and day from the rig. Security was good. Cable TV signal was strong, but really not much on basic cable channels. My only complaint was one staffer who had attitude. Everyone else was great. I do recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean place, maybe that's why the trash cans are always full. Seems like every time we took our trash out, they were always full. Noticed alot of snobs there. Several times I said good morning to several people and NOBODY answered me. LOTS of people living there permanantly. The streets could be a little wider so as you exit the pull through you are not almost on the pad across the street so that the end of your trailer does not scrape the tree at your site if you have a long trailer. The park includes cable but we could not get clear reception of any channels. We ended up getting better reception with the antenea. We could not get 1/3 of the parks cable channels at all. The laundry facilities were a pain if you ran out of soap or change. What's wrong with putting a change machine and a soap machine dispensor in the facilities like real laundry mats? More than once, I had to leave my clothes in the machine and walk to the clubhouse for more change or soap. For what this park charges, (even more on the Weekends and Holidays, $40 & $44) trash should be picked up several times a day, I should be able to get clear reception of ALL their channels. The staff are nice, but not very personalble, just businesslike, which is fine, at least they are not mean. Not sure if we would stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty good CG for Las Vegas area. The place is HUGE, and there are plenty of sites for everyone. The first site we were given was promised to be easy to get to with grass next to the pad. It was almost impossible to get into and had electrical transformer boxes right next to the pad. After talking to the staff, we were able to switch with little problems. The pools are nice with a seperate family (with sandy beach) and adult pool. There is plenty of airplane noise all through the day but it seem to quite down a bit a night. There are permanent residents spread throughout the park. We would probably try someplace else if we go back to Las Vegas. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this park for three months (Jan-April) and we thouroughly enjoyed our time here. It is easily the nicest park that I have stayed at. A little expensive ($560 a month) but you pay for what you get. My only complaint is that the staff is less than friendly. Not horrible, just very business like and not very personable. Other than that you could not ask for more in a park. Security is very good and that was a big plus for us. I would suggest staying here to anyone who is coming to Vegas. We stopped by for a few nights and have been here for 5 months. New management has turned this full service park into a winner. It was let go for a while but is now in good hands. An adult pool and separate but close family pool is the centerpiece of the clubhouse facility. Shuttle to the "Strip" and every other amenity makes this park a place I'll come back to. You could sit outside and carry on a normal conversation. Very good store with plenty of liquid refreshments, food and RV supplies. Wow. The other reviews here don't sound like the Resort I just stayed at! I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! Apparently the Manager, Cesar, has been with the company a long time and just returned as manager. From what others say, he's really making a big difference here. This park was very friendly. The staff looked like they really enjoyed what they were doing, and they were very professional. The whole place was really clean. Top-notch all the way around! And by the way, I got a chance to talk to Cesar briefly. He was as friendly as any manager I have run across at any property, anywhere! It is obvious he cares about giving guests the red carpet treatment. We will return, that is for sure. We look forward to trying the other Destiny properties also. They are in Blythe, CA on the Colorado River, Phoenix, and Dallas. I wish my fellow RVers who wrote the other reviews here would try them again. I think they would be very favorably impressed! Park looks very nice with lots of grass. But that is a problem because the only way to grow grass in the desert is to water it constantly, and at least at my site that means that everything gets flooded at least twice a day - you can't stay outside - you're stuck inside your unit because the sprinklers get everything wet. Also it seems that they only want the "big rigs" here - they let them do as they please but those of us in travel trailers are constantly being referred to the 2 pages of rules that they have. They seem to be very selective in enforcing them, depending on what type unit you have. For example, I was told that I could not store ANYTHING under my unit, but 2 sites down is a big rig with enough wood stored under the unit to keep them warm in Montana for the winter. I was given my notice 10 days ago and the wood is still there. The rule that I like best is the one that states that they have the right to change or make any new rules as they please without notice (Rule 38) Park is located very near the airport and noise at all hours is a MAJOR problem Also, just found this out, they charge $2.88 per minute for long distance calls and .50 for each 800 number you call. I guess make sure that you have a calling card if you need to make any phone calls. Overall, I guess that if you are coming to vegas for a few days (in a big rig) and plan on spending every waking minute in a casino, then this park would be OK. Otherwise, I would find someplace else, which we have and am moving as soon as the month that we paid for is up. We camped here in a camper.

This is a huge RV Resort. Is very close to the airport, so aircraft noise is a problem. When we camped there sprinklers were broken and trees were dying, and appeared upkeep was lacking. The check-in lobby can be a little intimidating as it is like checking into one of the Vegas hotels. They say in their office that older rigs are not allowed, but there were several in the park. We camped here in a camper.

Sam's Town RV Park was by far the best campground on our trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The RV Park was very well organized and clean. The Restrooms/Bathhouses were very clean. The pool and Hot Tub were great as well. The laundry facilities were great. I also liked the Sam's Town Security who made patrols at night. The Shuttles to the strip and Downtown were a great addition to the amenities. The only thing I found wrong(which was minor) was the fee for the use of WiFi. We will stay there again. We find it a convenient park when traveling through Las Vegas, not too far off Hwy 515/93/95. The spaces are narrow, we couldn't put out our awning without hitting our neighbors rig. Their sewer set-up is weird, strong sewer smell especially when the weather is hot. Only real complaint is that when I made the reservation I was told it would be $23 for the night but they charged me $32. The casino/hotel is right next door with some good restaurants, which made for a nice evening. We had a small problem with our rig and called Affordable RV Service to come to our rig to fix the problem. They came our early Sunday morning and were great, high recommend them. Andrew, the receptionist, was courteous and greeted us with a smile. Gave us our Good Sam discount. They add a mandatory $4 to the basic camp fee for cable TV whether you use it or not. Place was very clean. Free shuttle from Casino to the Fremont Street area (old Las Vegas) and to Harrah's Casino and to the Riviera Casino, on the "Strip". Wi-Fi is available for a fee on an expensive 24 hour daily basis or a cheaper weekly basis. I have been here before and will continue to use this park. Casino has a good buffet for the price, compared to the big Casinos at the "Strip." If you do not want to eat at the Buffet, there are several fast food places inside the Sam's Town Casino to eat economically. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a parking lot type of RV park. Our cable is horrible. We're using the Antenna with much better results. Don't see any other complaints about this, so it might be our site. The attraction of this park is the adjacent Sam's Town Casino and theaters. There is a Wal-Mart Supercenter right across the street for supplies. The park is clean and the sites are adequate. The park has a two-week limit and gives a Good Sam discount. The restrooms and showers are kept very clean. The monthly rate quoted is for a 70-foot pull-through which is their largest size. Rates for smaller spaces start at about $24 a night. We have used this park on numerous occasions while prepping our rig for travel. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay at this park. It is a parking lot type with not much room in between spaces but we found it comfortable. The big issue we had was the park broke its own quiet hours by having the trash truck come by every day (Mon - Sat) at around 6am. When we approached the person at the desk about this we got an insincere apology and nothing else mentioned about it. If it weren't for this service they would have had a much higher rating. $36 rate for large pull-thru sites. Most of the these sites are gravel and are very close together with little room for the awning. Only two or three sites on each row have trees for shade. Very convenient to Sams Town Casino, and the gambling comps can be applied to your camping fee. Fenced dog walk area and several grassy areas around the park perimeter. All the sewer hookups are a simple doored funnel in the power pole and allow sewer odors to escape especially during windy days. Traffic on Boulder Hwy intersection creates a problem getting in and out of the park in the early evening every day except Sunday. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the best RV nightly value and best location in Las Vegas. The $27/night was achieved by using my Sam's Club 10% discount coupled with selecting a 30 Amp back-in site. The park is gravel and tight, but what can you expect inside the city, next to a casino. The major negative at this park is the sewer hookup. Two sites share what amounts to a large covered pipe with 2 bowl-shaped openings that you share with your neighbor. You must remove any connectors on the end of your hose before inserting it into the pipe opening. If your hose is inside the pipe and your neighbor empties his tanks, your hose may very well get drenched with the liquid from his rig. I would advise washing down the section of your hose that's inside the pipe before touching it. The shuttle service from Sam's to the strip and to Fremont can be very convenient if you pay close attention to the schedule. Be aware of the time zone, we missed our first bus because we forgot to change our watches! We had a little trouble finding the shuttle stop on the first day. It's at the back of the building (casino). We learned to always look for the Valet location at each of the other clubs. Asking the casino employees was usually the fastest, and easiest, way to find it. Cable+telephone is itemized separately on the bill, but it is NOT optional. Internet is available at an extra charge so we just used the wireless at the local library on Tropicana Street about 1.5 miles away. The bathroom and showers were fine. We didn't use the pool, but it looked ok, too. We'd be fine with staying here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The whole campground is cement. Sites are nose in, back in and pull thru. There is a surcharge added to all sites for cable and phone whether you use them or not. There is also an additional charge for pull thrus or 50 amp. If you are longer than 36' pull thrus are the only option. We were not told about the surcharge or the difference in price in the sites when we called to make a reservation, probably because you talk to the same reservation office that makes them for the hotel and they are not very familiar with the needs of the RV'er. We were also camping with friends, we made the reservation for two sites and we were not put together. Some poor communication. The pool, restrooms and laundry all have a code to get in. The laundry is $1.00 for washer and $.50 for dryer. We would stay here again, but we would ask more questions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Paid $21.78 per night with cable and telephone for 3 adults. $23.38 with tax. We have stayed here in the past and would stay again. The rates are good, great staff, free cable TV, free phone service for local calls, nice laundry facilities, nice Pool and 24 hour security. We found the sites to be wide and spacious. You can walk to their casino, it’s a short drive to downtown and the strip and a Wal-Mart across the street. Wireless was impossible to use and $20 per week (less on a daily basis. We contacted the wireless provider (Hotel Internet Services) tech support to no avail. The service simply does not have enough bandwidth at this location. We loved the park. On our last visit the site was a little tight, but we had plenty of room for our 35 foot 5th wheel this time. A very clean park....I think. During the 5 days we were there, the pool was shut down by the Health Dept. for two days!! Nothing was said by employees....makes a person wonder, though. Wifi.....well, for the price of the cg site, wifi needs to be included....not another $7.99 for each 24 hours. The sites are sooooo close that I could not even walk between my slide-outs and the slide-outs of the motor home in the next site......I couldn't even get my emergency window opened or it would have hit the motor home. Positive: closeness to the Strip and good access to the Casino of Sams Town. Employees were rude each time I was in the office......very little help from the office staff. This looked to be one of the best RV parks along the Boulder Highway. We had a pull-through site which was rather short, as we barely fit and my 5th wheel is only 28' long. Not many channels available on cable TV. They have the strangest sewer hook-up situation which allows you to commingle your waste with your next door neighbor. Noisy neighborhood during the day and early evening but surprisingly quiet during the sleeping hours. Very active and visible security patrol in park. We saw no transients or "riff raff" within the park. The casino is within easy walking distance and serves good food at reasonable prices. We had a "choice" spot in a cul-de-sac area with minimal through traffic. Nice green grass. Plenty of room for all sizes of rigs with slide-outs and vehicle parking. This is an easy going operation: Easy check in, easy parking, easy hook up - The sites are on gravel and don't have much shade. The hotel offers a great buffet (Friday seafood all-you-can-eat) and a regular free shuttle service to the strip. Unfortunately you'll be charged with a $9 cable fee, if you need it or not. The hook-ups are a bit fancy, but worked well for us. The pool is quite small for the size of the park and needs a bit more hygienic attention in the summer months. The few times I used the restroom I've found them clean and working. Overall for about 30 bucks (Good Sam members receive 10%) you'll get a clean and well organized park. The reason I down grated my rating was the strange way of sewer connecting, I hardly think it is sanitary. We have a 45' motorhome and a trailer. Even though I stated how long we were, the pull-thru we were assigned was not long enough. We sort of stuck out a bit on either end. It was very hot - 102 degrees, and the heat just radiated off the completely paved area. They have lots of rules. For example "Pets will be kept inside your unit during "quiet hours", 10 p.m. - 9 a.m. (Try to tell your dog that he/she can not go out first thing in the morning). There is very little grass, and your dog may not walk on it. Because of the heat I had to carry my dogs to the fenced in dog area (not grass). You will have very close neighbors. We had a very nice dinner at Sam's Town's steak house, and would have stayed longer in the casino except for the smoke. We stayed here twice this summer for one and two night stays. Easy access from Boulder Hwy with side-by-side hook-ups. Some are pull-thrus and some are a bit unusual in that you pull into the site and back-out of it when leaving. Park is very tidy and well kept, there are relatively mature trees trees that look nice and throw some shade but they don't actually provide any relief from the heat in the summer. The pool looks nice although we didn't use it, the laundry was not all that clean but large and a bargain for wash and dry. Bathrooms and showers in the laundry/pool complex were clean and well maintained; the showers are fairly small but there are quite a few of them. For a one night stay this place is okay - try to avoid the sites on Boulder Hwy - lots of road noise! We also checked in late and did not have the bathroom code - got it from a neighbor. Sites are tight, the shower areas are very small with only one hook for your clothes (a bench would be nice!) and they charge you for cable and phone connection even if you aren't planning to use it (made my reservation online and at check-in had to pay extra). Did not use pool. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Bath houses numerous and spotless, smallish pool but nice, paved surfaces, sites close
together but park was quiet and neighbors very considerate of each other, very clean and well maintained campground. Phone hook up is included in the site price. Campground is 7 miles from the strip but regular shuttle service is provided to the strip and downtown areas from morning until 10PM. Be sure to make reservations as the park is usually quite full. Ask for a coupon book (you won't get one unless you ask for it). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park will serve those passing through and wanting to stay one night in Las Vegas. The park has paved streets with gravel pads. Mostly side-by-side hook-ups and the pad size was 21x46 ft. The sites did not have picnic benches, fire pits, or Bar-B-q's. Was very disapointed with the registration clerk who did not provide the combination to the pool and showers. We found this out at 10;00P.M. (the RV Park office was closed) when we came back from the Casino and wanted to use the showers. The Hotel does provide a shuttle service to other Casino's on the Strip. We stayed here in June 2003. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park. Had a large pull-thru site, close to the restrooms/showers/pool area. The modem hookup was outside, by the pool/restrooms--so accessible anytime (which is a plus for us). Secure & quiet. Excellent seafood buffet on Friday

Actually 2 parks, one north and one south of hotel complex. Safe and very clean. Shuttles to the strip and downtown free. Best buy in LV. We camped here in a camper.

As usual, the other posts are pretty much right on. Extremely well maintained. If you know what you are getting into it is one of the best private parks you could visit. Premium sites have palapa bars and outdoor kitchens; this helped make our stay one of the few tens we have visited. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park, but not worth $75.00 a night. You don't even get a table. To get a table you are in the $90 to $105.00 range. There is very good security and it is perfectly maintained. There is no restaurant and/or a store on site, which we thought was weird. Mostly 40' to 45' motorhomes, only Class A allowed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price was $105/night for a "premium" site overlooking the golf putting area and tennis courts. Worth the money if you know what you're getting in to: a pristine, perfectly trimmed "resort" for larger Class A's only. We stayed here at the end of a trip during which we camped at national and state parks, so this was a welcome respite. You rent a private spot, so it depends on how the particular owner has improved their site - could range from just a concrete slab to a full outdoor kitchen and palapas. Only thing oddly missing was a store - no groceries in walking distance except for a Target. As others have said bring a toad or plan on taxis. We camped here in a Motorhome.
