Beautiful park, very clean restrooms and showers. They advertise discount rates but half a mile down Boulder Hwy is a quite nice park for exactly half the cost per night so I wish I had gone down the road a bit. This places staff was nice and helpful though. Easy walk to the Midnight Bingo Hall. I'd stay here again but will check down the road for a cheaper and just as nice place for the night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We ended up leaving before we paid. We got there after closing hours and they instructed us to pick a site, register at the hotel front desk with only our names and site number of our choosing and then to pay in the morning when the RV park opened. Everyone who helped us was very friendly, but the park felt secluded and insecure so we left after seeing the area and reading a couple of bad reviews online about RVs being broken into at this site. We called the front desk of the hotel to let them know we were leaving and they were very understanding. We never saw the bathrooms, showers or pool so I can't comment on cleanliness. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

When we checked in we were told that the WiFi wasn't working well. After two days with no WiFi access at all, we left and went somewhere else. Apparently they didn't consider it a high enough priority. There is no security, although we did not observe any problems. At the RV park we moved to (1/2 mile away), security is 24-hours, so apparently there is a need. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The campgrounds are not on top of each other. The camp host walks around the area and makes sure nothing is getting out of hand. I felt safe, as I was there by myself at the time. I have been coming here for the last 10 yrs and will continue to do so. We camped here in a Tent.

Out of 417 advertised sites, only 35 or so are kept open for overnighters. Huge place. Overnight sites are large, mostly clean, mostly level. Didn't use the bathrooms or clubhouse, so can't comment. It does look like this RV park used to be something to crow about many moons ago. But it's heyday has passed and things are sliding slowly downhill. Still, I'd use it again for a day or two if I had to. We camped here in a camper.

This campground was formerly known as Covered Wagon RV Park. It is merely a big parking lot. The roads and sites are paved. All sites are a little bit higher than the street and to get on the sites you must go over a high, rounded curb. The park has 17 premium sites for RVs longer than 38 ft and 192 standard sites with a maximum length of 38 ft. All sites are back-ins. Some of the standard sites can be used as pull through if one half is not occupied. The rate for a standard site is $22 while they charge $40 for the premium sites. Cable TV should be available, but we did not check it. Free WiFi should be available in the office during office hours. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The campground is directly under the approach path for the Las Vegas airport and you can watch the jets in less than 2000 ft above you. Of course it is noisy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this campground but compared to others there are fewer amenities so we rated it 7. It is 17 miles out of Vegas at 7000' near Mt. Charleston. We had site 7 with a view of the mountainsides, trees all around, privacy and visiting wildlife. The picnic tables are concrete as are the fire rings and both are on a concrete pad. The tent pad was very large and level. On the downside, leveling the motorhome took double boards on one side, the road into the campground is narrow with a circle at the end that you must be able to drive around (think length of your unit) to get out, pay showers, no dump station, no playground and no water at any site, although it is accessible to fill your tank. Hiking is available everywhere, you are close to Red Rock Canyon and Vegas, there are a few restaurants within 1 mile and you can completely relax. Very popular so arrive early in the week or make a reservation. We will stay there again. Rate is with Access card. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I gave this campground a 8 due to the close proximity to Las Vegas. It has tall Ponderosa Pines at the 7,000 ft level that represents a marked changed from the desert. Each site has power. This campground can be reserved by going to Recreation.Gov. The only water comes from community campground spigots. I suggest that you buy a rubber hose connection called a "water robber" at your local RV parts store as it allows you to temporarily attach your hoses to the non-threaded faucets found in most Forest Service campgrounds. You will be able to fill your fresh water tank. There is no Holding tank drop at the campground. I would not suggest that you reserve spaces 6 or 8 if you have a unit longer than 25 feet. Also note that the 2 million residents of the Las Vegas valley scramble to get into this campground with electric hookups, so you should book space way in advance. Overall a great experience We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A gem of a place, just 45 minutes from my home in Las Vegas, a great place to see all of the Mt. Charleston sights. Very friendly staff, firewood for sale on site. Electric, and water spigots, no sewer. Lots of space between sites. Of the 12 sites, six can be reserved. Took us two months to get a reservation. First come sites are tricky, according to host. Hard to predict, he says. Elevation is such that you might expect snow early as November. Bring everything you need. Nearest store is about 20 miles down the mountain. Rate reflects Senior Interagency Pass discount. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There aren't many choices in the North Las Vegas area, so this one was just fine for a few days. Although the area seemed a little rough, the park was secure with lots of snowbirds there for the winter. Rest rooms were very nice. Big drawback is the noise from Nellis AFB. They were doing touch and goes over our trailer. Better than an airshow, but LOUD! Overall, perfectly adequate for our needs and a good value for Las Vegas. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

There is a grassy area to walk the dogs and a dog wash. The rest of the campground is gravel with trees on every site, but they do not provide a lot of shade. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 6 months while I worked a contract job - there are a lot of long term residents but also a lot of nightly visitors. It was a perfect fit for us. Based on the cost of the site and the amenities provided, the best deal on RV parks in Vegas. We visited several others while here and couldn't find anything better unless we paid a fortune. Very nice pool and showers. The restaurant is EXTREMELY smoke filled so we could never eat there. The jets are loud, but they are not constant, just several minutes a few times a day. And it is pretty cool watching them fly in formation overhead. The area around the RV park does seem seedy at times, but inside the park is safe and gated. We never had any problems. We would stay here again We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have rated it 6/10 because it is a carpark, nothing pretty about this site. However I would give it a 9/10 for access, it depends what you are looking for. It is just off the Strip, near to The Stratosphere. The bus stop is within walking distance from the park and a 24hr ticket costs $7 and you can get on and off as much as you like. The restrooms were great with laundry facilities, $2 for the newer machine, $1.50 for the older ones and the tumble dryer were also $1.50, a little pricey, I thought, especially as you are not allowed to hang laundry out. Good secluded pool, friendly staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Typical over priced KOA. The pros and cons. Pros, very convenient to the strip. If you have kids they will love it and you are basically connected to the Circus Circus Casino with lots of kid activities. Internet included. Very clean and quiet. Cons, OVER PRICED by at least thirty dollars. Very hot on asphalt with no foliage or very many trees. No cable. We stayed out in the back which made it easy for coming and going via Dean Martin Drive and the main reason we stayed here was convenience to and from The Orleans for which we had a car show and this made it convenient and sometimes you have to pay for that. Other than the price I would camp here again and might have to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is in a great location for seeing and doing things in the city. It's quiet and near the Galleria Shopping Mall and has easy access to the Boulder Highway. My lower rating is due to 3 things: 1) Our satellite TV wouldn't work. However, others got theirs to work by switching over to Channel 4. Ours is locked at Channel 3 so the picture was full of static. The local TV station reception wasn't that good either. No cable. 2) The office wasn't always conveniently open. 3) We took a back-in space and we're kind of packed in like sardines. They are at an angle which means we all aren't looking into each other coaches but again, it's very tight and basically asphalt parking. Utilitarian and practical. Good news: We got a phone line into the coach so getting onto the internet was nice and easy. This is a great place to be with a pet because right across the street are huge grassy soccer fields. We'd probably stay here again. Would also look into staying at Sam's Town Nellis Park, which was our first choice but was full due to NASCAR races. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Class A motorhomes only. Beautiful condo park. The landscaping is gorgeous, sites are paved, level and generously sized. Amenities include 4 pools, spas, exercise room, putting green, a large club house, and a diner that is open for breakfast and lunch. Dog walking is limited to a grass area at the front of the park, so if you are traveling with your 4 legged buddies you might want to request a site that is conveniently located. The park is within walking distance to Target and several restaurants. Groceries, Bass Pro Shop, and a large casino are a short drive away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this resort many times for the past 4 years and have never been disappointed. It is a beautiful ownership park with several pools and spas and just close enough to the strip. We will always stay here when we visit Las Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Super park for Big Rig Class A's. The Standard Built out site we had was really first class. This park is shaded with mature palm trees and landscaped very nicely. The price reflected a 10% discount for FMCA membership. If you really want to treat yourself to a great park, you won't go wrong here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is neat and has some vegetation and trees, so it is more than a parking lot. Convenient access to I-15 and strip, hence my higher rating. We didn't use spa, pool, showers, or laundry but they were clean. Pet areas need improvement - they are tiny; only one ice machine; need more trash containers; need to install cable TV. Yes, there are some long-term residents, but their places are neat. Compared to other LV RV parking-lot style spaces, both this RV & the 'other RV' just to the South are better and bigger and better values. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean paved parking lot with many long term residents with old unattractive rigs. The rules state that you MUST take your dog to their one of two dog walks to let your dogs "do their business". The trip to the dog walk can be hot and the asphalt sealant leaves your pets feet dirty. Many people take their dogs there in their golf cart or car! This is not a pet friendly park. The rate is a special right now. Good Wi-Fi. Secure park with a guard. I know it's Las Vegas, but it would be nice to see some grass. Look elsewhere. I do not understand how the park gets such good reviews from those other camping review sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stay. All the hookups worked great. They have a pool and a workout room, very clean restrooms and laundry. One thing we really like about the park is they have 24 hr security at the entrance to the park. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is really a parking lot with 50 amp service, sewer and water. To check in you have to go across the street to the Main Street Casino so call them first and find out your spot and then walk over. This is a very noisy park at night as the freeway is very close. However, it is close to lots of activities including Fremont Street and The Mob Museum. The people at the help desk are great and know what they are talking about. For the price we would probably stay here again despite the noise and we would wear ear plugs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 2 weeks in this park in a pull-through site. There is some road noise from the nearby overhead freeway and you do hear sirens as the fire trucks leave the fire station across the street. We have always used a fan at night to drown out noises from outside. During our 2 week stay, we were never disturbed at night by noise. The restrooms and laundry were both clean. We got good TV reception with our antenna. We were able to get a good Wi-Fi signal from the fire station by using our wireless signal booster. We love the convenience of this park to the downtown area and will be back again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this place and will definitely be back. Clean, level sites, great pools, quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe serves a great, inexpensive breakfast and lunch. We were graciously allowed to have ten guests in for a BBQ, and to use the tables near the pool. The resort is just a few miles south of the Las Vegas Strip. So it is easy to visit the local sights then relax back at the resort. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice clean park on the south end of town. The pool area was very large and excellent. There was no noise from I-15, which was nearby. The dog area was clean and well kept. It is VERY large so getting around takes some time. There is food on site, but we did not eat at the park. I think it is very good as a one nighter or for multiple nights if visiting Las Vegas. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay! Either for a quick one night on your way to other places, or for a longer term stay this park is perfect. Sites are all paved and level, staff is very friendly and accommodating, restrooms and facilities are clean; great pool with a separate swimming area and a hot tub for adults. The putting course was in need of serious grounds keeping, but everything else was great. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice location. Friendly and helpful management. Clean pools and laundry rooms. Easy to drive and pull-thru, albeit pretty "sardine". More of a place to park while you're enjoying Vegas than a destination spot in and of itself. For the price, I doubt it can be beat in this area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We came intending to stay a week ($140 inc. power) but extended to 3 weeks. The sites for those passing through are pull-through with easy access. Roads are paved and sites are hard gravel. This park has one of the best air-conditioned laundries we have used. They have multiple, new washers (front and top load) and 8 dryers that will completely dry your laundry, each for only $1 each. The park has many friendly ‘residents’ and guests passing through. There are many older units in the park; however, none of this brought on any problems. The managers are friendly and very accommodating. Although this is an older park, they are trying to keep it up and make improvements. Because there are so many full-time residents, the office is open limited hours 6-days and is closed on Sunday. They will return your phone call during business hours. We were able to receive mail with no problem through the office. This is the second time we have stayed here and will use this park again if we are in Vegas. If you come to the park from I-15 on Sierra Blvd., when you reach Boulder Highway, you need to turn left and go up one long block, turn right then proceed to Palm and another right. There is a barrier preventing you from making the needed left onto Palm from Sierra, something some GPS programs don’t know about. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a dump. The place was filthy. If we had not been hard pressed for time, we would have moved on. I do not recommend this place to anyone. All of the spaces were set up for mobile homes, not RVs. So the dump station was too far away (about 50 feet) from our tanks. We were only able to get water because I had extra water hoses. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Better than the Walmart parking lot. This is good if you are passing through and need an easy cheap place to park the rig with full hook ups. Spots are large and accessible. Location is in a hard neighborhood way off the strip but there are some casinos within walking distance. Probably will stay here again due to the price/amenities, and would recommend it to anyone passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had an appointment at Freightliner (they did great work and have a separate RV department) in North Las Vegas, and we had stayed here once before overnight. This time we were staying for 4 nights but turned into 6 nights because of the high winds. The whole park is asphalt except for the strips in between sites that have bushes that were trimmed down so you could get your slides out. The asphalt surface comes off onto your shoes and if you don’t take your shoes off it ends up on your carpet. It was really a pain!! We had a back in site away from Boulder Hwy against the wall with the trash building in front of us. It’s the only trash area for the park so everyone stops there in their truck to dump their garbage. They have trash pickup every day even Sunday (5:55am). Unfortunately, there is a speed bump there too so they get over the bump and give it gas and it’s loud, day and night. The sites to avoid are 28-38. The pool is very nice and the office staff was as friendly as could be. The rates are $16.00 a night for the first 3 nights and then it goes to $20.00. Weekly rates are $89.00 + tax. They don’t take reservations. No problems with the power, we could run our AC and washer/dryer at the same time. Water pressure was adequate. You could get a sewer smell outside once in a while but it really wasn’t a problem. There are other RV parks nearby (Sam’s Town and Arizona Charlie’s) and will probably stay there instead next time. The grime from the asphalt was really too much to deal with. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice quiet place to sleep basically but that's ok because we weren't in Vegas for the country view. The park was exactly what I expected after reading the reviews. I would definitely stay here again. There is a laundry facility, swimming pool, shower houses, all are very clean. We brought a large dog, (aggressive breed by some standards) Pit Bull. While I was told when I called for reservations they didn't allow aggressive breed dogs and had a 20 pound weight limit they allowed me to bring my dog after I described his temperament. All was good. Nice and close to Sam's Town Casino. Fremont street and Las Vegas Blvd easily available by free bus. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean campground. The sites have shared hookups, so you face your neighbor, but the spaces are a good size. We are not gamblers, but the casino is very nice. There is a beautiful indoor atrium area with a free water and light show. There is an 18 screen theater that offers $3.00 admission for seniors, and a wonderful buffet. The location is handy to the Strip and Fremont St, and there is lots of shopping close by. Would definitely stay here again. Nightly rate reflects a special offer from Phoenix Good Sam Rally We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice CG to be so close into Las Vegas. Wi-Fi worked fine and was free. It has small sites, but there are plenty for the bigger rigs. I have a 45ft 5er. I got the narrowest site which was 15ft wide, yes 15ft. Fortunately no neighbors except one night. According to their markings I had 6 inches on each side once the slides were out. All other sites were at least 18-20 feet. As the snowbirds leave and the weather heats up they allow you to double post the 30Amp for $5/day. I was able to, so even though it was 102 F. I was able to run both ACs and stay cool. Crowded in winter with snowbirds but rest of year not crowded so very nice. Can walk to 3 casinos: Boulder Station, Arizona Charlie's and Sam's Town. Just over a mile to a Super Walmart. Nothing wrong with the area. Will stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

TTN Rate. At check in the gate let us select a site away from wall and apartments. The Wi-Fi is NOT working here. The CLEAR device and booster pulled a full strength 4G signal and cell phones great. Recent Adult Center remodel is great. This time of the year is pretty busy with snowbirds on the move, migrating toward home. There are no in park activities but there is a list of free shows on the STRIP to keep you busy. The desert is in bloom and Red Rock is a great place to check out the colors. Staff here is busy but friendly and helpful. Lack of 50AMP in many sites when air-con is needed requires planning ahead. A pleasant park with good access from Boulder Highway. We will return when we pass this way in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We are members and love this campground. It is small but very clean, well managed, with a friendly staff and very good hook-ups. Nice pool and the grounds are very well maintained. The sites are small and mostly 30 amp. Some shaded sites but difficult to get. Since it is a membership park the other campers are very friendly. Near the best LV has to offer even thought the immediate neighborhood isn't the greatest. We feel very safe as the park is secure with 24 hour security. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Right on Fremont Street 5 blocks south of casino area. This is a converted parking lot. Not a place for children. Restrooms and showers are clean, but only open from 8AM-6PM. This is a good place to sleep after spending the day (or night) doing what people come to Las Vegas to do. For the price it is a decent value. We camped here in a Motorhome.
