What a find! We had been staying in another RV park on Boulder Hwy. Not again. Every pad is concrete and the space between is grass or clean gravel. Our spot was near Boulder Hwy, but we did not notice a noise problem. There are individual bathrooms in the "bathhouses". They are VERY clean and spacious. The best I have ever seen. Our rate reflects a Good Sam discount. I cannot understand another reviewers "high" rate quote, since there is a standard rate sheet and nothing approaches the rates quoted. No Wi-Fi, but that is standard for Las Vegas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An acceptable park when going through to Las Vegas. Right off the freeway. Tight spaces with not much breathing space between neighbors. Pull through site barely fit our 39' motorhome towing a car behind. Nice store, pretty friendly staff. Nice pool area, but pool water was very dirty and it smelled in the area. Packed with people. Expensive rv park. Very loud surrounding area. There was a concert nearby that we could hear well into the late evening. Didn't have free wifi - had to pay for it. For the price paid, that should be complimentary. Entrance was tight for an RV park of this size. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Spaces were very small---only about 4' of grass between RV's. Wi-fi would be a big plus for this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I would recommend this place to anyone. The campgrounds are not on top of each other. The camp host walks around the area and makes sure nothing is getting out of hand. I felt safe, as I was there by myself at the time. I have been coming here for the last 10 yrs and will continue to do so. We camped here in a Tent.

Out of 417 advertised sites, only 35 or so are kept open for overnighters. Huge place. Overnight sites are large, mostly clean, mostly level. Didn't use the bathrooms or clubhouse, so can't comment. It does look like this RV park used to be something to crow about many moons ago. But it's heyday has passed and things are sliding slowly downhill. Still, I'd use it again for a day or two if I had to. We camped here in a camper.

Staff was friendly and our site was level. We liked the dog park and that they had a lot of machines in the laundry room. We did pay for a more expensive site so we could have grass, which the people who didn't have grassed used to exercise their dogs on as well and didn't always clean up. We were able to pick up 8 stations on the TV. The Wi-Fi worked fine. We needed RV repair and the recommended a person that did fix the RV but it was a minimum of $200 for him to come out which we thought was excessive. Of course, we think that $74 for a site is excessive as well, even though you are in Vegas and a 10 minute walk from the strip. We would not stay here again. Circus Circus had rooms advertised for $29. We would have been closer to the casino and gotten off much cheaper if we had parked the RV and stayed in the hotel. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As stated by everybody else: this place is pretty much a parking lot. Then again what would you expect on the Strip in Vegas? The facilities are clean and the utilities all work well. Wi-Fi has good connectivity but is very slow. Also for the price they should have cable TV. Can't believe the (poor quality programs) they put on network TV. Too lazy to set up dish. This is our second time here. We'll come back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Location is great, price isn't. Nice big rig sites. Had Wi-FI, but wasn't able to get it at site #165 which was only two rows from the office. Put up our outdoor Wi-Fi antenna. In the past all RV parks once we get this antenna up we can get 54 Mbps. Here we could only get 11.0 Mbps. Was still hit and miss. At least the power and water pressure were excellent. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

As a military campground this is one of the best. Gravel sites with cement patio. Ours was a pull through and we're a 41 foot 5th wheel, and we had plenty of parking. If they have a swimming pool it is away from the campground and on the base mainside. They could use some "events" within the camp such as pizza night or pot lucks. Guess they figure those staying here will hit the shows or casinos. (We hit the casino buffets - great ). They offer reasonable laundry charges (.75) and they have a nice fenced dog run with grass and clean up bags and tools. The Sunrise Vista golf course ( 27 holes )has wide fairways and is reasonably priced ( cheap for Vegas ). Good wi-fi connection in our rig. Very nice/helpful office staff. Make your reservations early if you plan on being here during the winter season. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park in North Las Vegas; about a 15 min drive to the Las Vegas strip if you drive down I-15. Friendly, helpful staff. One of the few military famcamps which take reservations. (Why?) Sites are large, both length and width; we had a pull thru (PT-1) which was over 80 ft long. Free (during July and August) Olympic-sized pool on base with diving boards and water slide was perfect for kids. Wi-Fi worked well from all locations. No cable TV, but regular antenna pulled in about 5 local TV stations. Laundry room clean and cheap. Stayed three nights while visiting the area (including Hoover Dam). Most others at campground were staying for weeks or months. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a small campground about 30 miles from Las Vegas. It's about 20 degrees cooler than the Valley because it's in the mountains. We had site #2 which is a group site which is why the price was so high. The site was long, level and very wide, with 30/50 amp power receptacles. The hosts were so nice. This campground has only about 10-12 sites, so if you want to go on a weekend, I highly recommend reservations. We will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first travel trailer camping experience, new to RVing. The Bathrooms were very clean, no showers though, water was available at a fill point. The camp hosts were very friendly and nice, paid $25 per night, all sites include 20a/50a power 3 different receptacles at the power box. The only negative was the fire pits were kinda tall and deep, so you get a smoky fire for lack of air, and the heat only hits your face. add some big rocks to the pit to bring the wood up higher that fixes that. The camp areas were very clean and lots of room on the paved camp area for your rv and chairs etc, paved path to fire pit and picnic table, BBQ's are provided (briquette style). Wood is for sale at the hosts and 1 mile away is the Mount Charleston hotel with starbucks, a restaurant and a bar, beers are $3 ea and extra bags of chips $1 (small bags) not many other sundries so bring most of what you need. The campground is kinda close to the main road, but it isn't a very busy road weekdays, especially at night. Weekends can be pretty busy in the summer at the campground, we have been local Las Vegans for 21 years, so we've seen all season up there. We didn't hear any traffic while sleeping. With a dry wash separating us from the road and some trees, we weren't too worried about the kids getting ran over, just keep a loose eye on them. Our are 3 and 4 years old. The campground was full, even though it was a weekday (summer), reservations are available for 8 of the sites and recommended, see website link for details. There are 2 double sites for slightly larger groups, 40 foot back in sites $25 for ea night singles and $38 for double sites. The turn around is kinda tight for extra large Motorhomes, our F150 supercrew and 19 foot trailer had no problems getting in and out. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in this park for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the park and the bar and grill. The park is very secure, staff friendly, all areas very clean and well kept. Nellis AFB is real close by, so the jets were flying but we are used to that. The park is right on N. Las Vegas Blvd, so it's easy access to the strip, Fremont St. and to the Raceway. You never have to leave the Blvd. to find anything which is great when you are not familiar with the area. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I strongly disagree with previous posters who rated this park a 10. It is a 40 year old park, but is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Interior roads are paved, but fairly narrow. There are many seasonals/permanents. The sites are gravel and level, but close together. It is not in a very good part of town, but security is good, with locked gates ($75 deposit required for an automatic opener for security gate). A MAJOR negative are the jets from Nellis Air Force Base taking off overhead throughout the day....the good news is they don't fly at night. There is a motel and steakhouse/bar on the property. Price is good based on what else is available in the area, but I am not sure I would stay here again, based on the jet noise alone. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed for a week here after reading lots of reviews on other RV Parks in Las Vegas. The security of the park was excellent, as the area around it is not that good. The staff were very friendly, and they even raked the grounds under the trees 7 days a week. The pool was huge, and the water cool considering it was 110 on most days. The dog walk gravel needs to be washed down more often as it smelled so bad our dogs wouldn't even get close to it. There are people that live here, but they are parked separate from the daily users. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hookups worked fine and the spot was fine for a one night stop on our way to Zion. The location was not ideal. This park is in a great location for seeing and doing things in the city. It's quiet and near the Galleria Shopping Mall and has easy access to the Boulder Highway. My lower rating is due to 3 things: 1) Our satellite TV wouldn't work. However, others got theirs to work by switching over to Channel 4. Ours is locked at Channel 3 so the picture was full of static. The local TV station reception wasn't that good either. No cable. 2)The office wasn't always conveniently open. 3)We took a back-in space and we're kinda packed in like sardines. They are at an angle which means we all aren't looking into each other coaches but again, it's very tight and basically asphalt parking. Utilitarian and practical. Good news: We got a phone line into the coach so getting onto the internet was nice and easy. This is a great place to be with a pet because right across the street are huge grassy soccer fields. We'd probably stay here again but also would probably look into staying at Sam's Town Nellis Park, which was our first choice but was full due to NASCAR races. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very tight sites here even though they say Big Rig capable. We had a pull-thru with a 40' rig and couldn't park the tow vehicle in front of the fifth wheel trailer. The whole place smells of dog urine. Too many residents with dogs and not enough space to run them. With windows open the smell was terrible. The smell of sewers was bad too. That could be because of the tight cramming in of too many sites and violations of sewer hookup rules. Many year 'round residents in old run down, worn out camping trailers. This place can't decide if it's an RV Resort or a trailer park for low income residents. Managers keep the grounds clean (except for the dog urine which they attempt to spray for but can't keep up with) and facilities are clean but old campers and sites full of stored boxes of "stuff" are a real eye sore and detractor. I don't know if these older trailers are legacy from the previous park owners but there is no enforcing of the current rules about sewer connections, air conditioners (which hang out of windows of these older trailers), junk stored on the site, charcoal barbecue grills versus gas, chimineas, etc. This place is pricey for what it is. The 24 hour guarded gate is nice but it is completely incongruent with the overall look and feel of the park and is not worth the price overall. Would not recommend and will not stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was friendly and the sites were nice. However, the dog area was very small and smelled strongly of urine. My dogs refused to go in after the first day. And I didn't force them as I didn't want to either. They do not allow dogs to use any other area of the park even tho it is landscaped with rocks. I would not go back with pets. And without pets make sure to get a site far from the pet areas. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice, clean, well-kept campground. They have 24/7 security at the gate which is nice but you are paying for it. Kind of pricey here, and some sites are merely parking lot type sites. We had a site with gravel which was better. It is close to Sam's Town and Boulder Station casinos and not far to drive to the strip or downtown. However, if you have a dog, you might consider staying elsewhere. The park is not pet-friendly. You have to get your dog to the pet run area. Your dog is not allowed to potty on your site. Well, dogs have their own ideas about that! There are only 2 "Pet Runs", one is fenced and one is not. They stink really bad. The park does their best to clean them but there are so many dogs in the park, that very little helps the smell. Also, as others have mentioned, it is getting too expensive to stay in Vegas for a month and so if we come to Vegas again, we will probably just spend a few nights at Sam's Town. We paid $636.75 for the month plus we have to pay electric on top of that. We would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't for the pet situation. Too pricey, but a nice park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Now folks we have to remember this is downtown Las Vegas not a wooded site in the National Forest. The downtown transportation station is 1 block away, Fremont Street Experience is 2 blocks away and most people stay here for the great food and casino odds, not the ambiance. This is a full hookup park with adequate site space and 24-hour armed security patrol. We have visited this operation many times over the years and have never had or seen a problem. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

When I called to get info on this "park", I was told that there was shade, that it was kid friendly, that we would have use of the hotel facilities. However, what I got was a parking lot. No shade with the exception of 4 spots. Kid friendly. Homeless people all around the area. People from area told us we were not safe. Only time they saw security was after a big incident. I have yet to see any security. "Dog Area" long way away. Using the hotel pool will be pretty much impossible. It is down the street on the other side of a 4 lane road. Internet only available if you bring laptop inside casino/hotel lobby. Again, have to walk long way to use anything. Only good thing is the price. But I would rather pay more for a place where I feel safe and family can feel comfortable. Would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This a full-hook-up parking lot. Close to North Las Vegas with a lot of homeless people camping along the road. Still a safe feeling due to numerous armed guards, who patrol day and night on the camping. Traffic noise acceptable as the place is in town. Two blocks from Fremont Street. The food in the Hotel is absolutely great and cheap. We enjoyed the Champagne Brunch for $ 11.50 each. Price for camping is a bargain compared to Circus Circus! We stayed for two nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Although this park is well maintained, as stated by others, AND the staff is friendly I rated this park a 6 instead of an 8 or 9 because of the HIGH charge for wi-fi in a time that almost ALL RV parks do NOT charge. When I asked management WHY they still charge they basically indicated that was their policy. RV travelers now DEPEND on good and either free or cheap wi-fi. This park wanted $6 a day AND the wi-fi was not reliable. The park is NOT making an effort to address this problem. The normal day rate was $49 dollars but I found a special $35 rate on the internet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent camp resort with all the facilities, super clean restrooms and showers, two swimming pools and other great features including dog runs. They sweep the streets and pickup garbage every day. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The Oasis Las Vegas will be our home when we are in Las Vegas. One of the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stored our RV here over the summer while we returned home for a few months during our cross country road trip. We were very nervous to leave our beloved rig unattended thousands of miles from home but all was well when we returned. Stored the rig on a regular site in the back of the park. We stayed here for 1 night upon our return and all was well with the stay. Nice clean park with beautiful pool. Level cement pads. Close to the strip and the airport. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great park but many long term residents. Staff very helpful. Does not take reservations. Laundry and washrooms very clean. It is away from The Strip but a short walk will get you to a bus and for $1.75 that will get you to Caesar Palace. The only downside is that it is not a secure campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For Vegas this place rocks. $16 per night paved pull thrus full 50 amp service, water, and dump. They had a nice little pool area. Most of your neighbors are there long term so scout your spot first (there were a few rigs we avoided). It is located up near Boulder Station on RV Park row, there are 3 or 4 within 1 mile of here. The surrounding neighborhood is not so good but you will be safely tucked into the park away from it all. We stayed 2 nights and were pleased with the place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate includes $4 per night additional required charge for cable and instant phone. We've stayed at Sam's in Tuncia, MS and have always liked the facility. Pay attention to the reviews is all I can say. Very tight back to back pull through sites, with the odd sewer hookups, however we had no sewer odor as described in other reviews. After looking at other parks within a mile of Sam's, the Roadrunner is probably nicer for less than 1/2 the rate. If we return to Vegas the Roadrunner will be our choice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times while visiting Las Vegas. It is a very good park with nice level sites and even a little grass in this desert destination. The park is secure and a short walk to the casino which provides a variety of services and entertainment. They do not provide picnic tables and if you need room I suggest you pay the premium and use the pull through sites. There is a shuttle to the Strip and the Fremont Experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have camped here before. The sites are not level (slope from back to front) but are laid out well. The sewer hook up is a pedestal with a slide door and it was smelly. Sites are close together but, most folks aren't here for the family camping experience. Lots of dogs and its not bad as far as pet-friendly. The dog run at the back really smelled of urine - very strong. Needs to be regularly watered down or something. There are some longer term folks here with dogs that think nothing of letting them loose to defecate on the grass (and they don't clean it up). Park gets a lot of road noise and the music from the adjoining casino was really loud. I still recommend the place as it is great to stay in and gamble at Sam's Town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This ownership park was recently turned over to the lot owners for management, and is well run. The facilities are being maintained (expect to hear mowers and blowers most weekdays) and rental rates have dropped. They've added a bit of flexibility (site amenities are available to short-term guests for a small fee), and the back-in sites are well-laid out. There are a mix of basic sites (wide concrete pad with full hookups) and improved sites (added amenities like landscaping and patio equipment). Many sites are used by their owners full-time, or to store coaches, cars, golf carts, etc., and aren't involved in the rental program. There are five pool/spa facilities plus a clubhouse and putting course. The park is generally quiet, although noise from the nearby airport can be heard at times. Most sites are satellite-friendly and free Wi-Fi is available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As usual, the other posts are pretty much right on. Extremely well maintained. If you know what you are getting into it is one of the best private parks you could visit. Premium sites have palapa bars and outdoor kitchens; this helped make our stay one of the few tens we have visited. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a membership campground in an urban setting and we have stayed here several times over the years. It is an older park and therefore the sites are smaller than most parks, but it is well maintained, very clean, and a great spot from which to enjoy this major American city. If you are expecting wilderness style camping this is not your spot. The staff is friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Unpleasant urban camping...fumes from busy highway nearby, traffic noise all day and night, including constant sirens. Sites further in back may be better . Our view was a concrete wall topped with barbed wire, and an apt. complex beyond that with residents on their balconies watching the RV park. Our site did not have a sewer hookup, and was seriously unlevel. Water quality was foul. Pool and dog run are nice. Would rather pay for a decent park than stay here "free". We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is very adequate for Vegas. We camped overnight this year just after Memorial Day. Park is clean with a great pool and large dog run. Staff is very friendly. Boulder Station casino is a short walk away. Food there is good and inexpensive. The buffet was a great bargain if you join the players club. Nightly rate is for non TT members. We paid nothing as members. We camped here in a Motorhome.
