This is a fairly nice park, right off of the main drag with easy access and egress. Staff was very friendly; however, a receipt was only given upon leaving which required us to re-visit the office upon leaving. In addition, the trees had not been trimmed yet (which hit the slide out), and camp tables were covered in bird poop. Due to the convenience of access, we probably will stay there again in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is just no longer worth it. I have been stopping here for the past few yrs but no more. You now have to check-in at the Hotel/Casino, staff is gone from the park. This is a hassle as the line was very long when we checked in at Hotel Registration. Sites are uneven and very small. There was a car parked in our spot when we pulled in and nobody from the park to assist. I called the Hotel and they were useless. Supposed to stay 2 nights bu pulled out after one. Will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice campground which is close to the casino. Very easy check-in. Sites are fairly close together on asphalt, and easy to get into. Wi-Fi worked OK. It was a clean campsite with just a little street noise. If you need to be in Minden, it is the place to be. Probably would not stay here again as we were just passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a a very nice park. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate. You get the use of the pool, sauna, workout room, etc. If you like to gamble, the casino is close -- across the parking lot next to the RV park. There are trees in the park providing shade for some RV spots and there are mountains in the distance. The management is friendly and helpful. There is a small market right next to the park. Wi-Fi is good -- seems fast and has good connectivity. The back-in sites cost less than the pull-throughs. The thing that causes us to rate this only a 7 instead of the 8 we would have given it is due to the proximity to the busy highway and the occasional construction that surrounds the park. The construction seems to be intermittent and the park is mostly fairly quiet. Note: If you get a site towards the front left (like spot #28) some of the flood lights around the neighboring motel will be very bright at night and will stream into your RV unless your shades are quite dark. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is an OK park. The interior roads are a little narrow, the sites a little short. The hookups worked fine and the location was convenient. We were disappointed that they no longer give the coupon books for the casino. We enjoyed our stay overall and we will stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice RV park, beautiful level sites, with grass and, shade trees. Wonderful pet exercise area and, well lit at night, with security. Very good value for the price. Close to casino, you can drive or walk as it is across parking lot, restaurants are very nice, great coffee shop and, EXCELLENT steak house. Casino was well taken care of and clean. Laundry facilities in RV park where very clean with new machines. Restrooms where spotless and, front desk staff very nice and, helpful. Will come back again and highly recommend it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Second time at this Park. We love it! All parks power, water, sewer and cable work perfectly. The Indoor swimming pool is really nice. I did notice that some of the perimeter sites might be difficult to level as I saw a few rigs with many blocks of wood under landing jacks. We camped in a 37' motorhome with toad and as noted, I could not leave the toad hooked up in our pull-through site although I was able to disconnect and park the car in front of the MH on an angle. Friendly staff and restaurant at hotel is excellent with nightly specials. Dog park was good size. I think having some type of shuttle to and from RV park to casino would be an added welcome touch. We were able to use roof top satellite and I think most sites would allow this. Having additional 50 amp sites would also be worthy. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our second visit. Pleasant check in. Everything worked well at our back in site. Pull through sites are not long enough for people to keep their cars hooked up. Very good restaurant in adjacent casino. Gas, and convenience store also adjacent. A busy place, but pleasant. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I just cannot give this CG a higher rating because of 2 things: many of the sites are not near level and it makes it very difficult to get a good level. The sites are so narrow as are the roads thru the CG. That said, the laundry was clean and reasonably priced...Right downtown on busy 395 but not loud at night at all. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While the sites are a bit narrow, there is nice landscaping between the rigs. Leveling can be a challenge in some of the sites. The off-leash fenced dog run is a good size and located on the east side of the park. The management staff is very helpful and informative with respect to the wind conditions on CA route 395, which is the primary road into/out of Minden. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We love the park. When you check in you stop at a Kiosk with a very friendly lady who assigns you to a space. If you come after hours you phone the hotel desk and they will assign you a spot. The casino is wonderful and you have access to spa and pool. The RV grounds are very nice with grassy areas and a picnic table. Casino and the park are spotless. Upbeat employers and campers seem to be enjoying themselves. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice, well maintained sites with paved roads and grass at each site. Access to pool and spa as well as exercise room at the Hotel nearby. Wi Fi was great and good cable TV channels were available. I would recommend if in the area. Only negative is it's hard to get a 40 footer in and out, so walk your route if it's your first time here, and talk to the manager about larger sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We really enjoyed ourselves here. Very clean. We had full access of the Casino including the indoor pool and it's 2 spas. Looking forward to returning to this RV park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Our third stay in this very nice Casino RV park. Has clean, grassy areas in each site with mature trees providing shade. Close to a convenience store, casino, restaurants and post office. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Cable TV and WiFi good and FREE. Fantastic new restaurant in casino: CV Steak had excellent food, service and value. Would highly recommend and will return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice campground. There are pull through sites so we didn't have to unhook the car for overnight. Sites are not very wide but adequate. Very clean and well groomed. Each site had a little piece of grass. Casino within walking distance. Katie's Restaurant inside the casino had good food. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice people. A tad cramped, but not as bad as most parks. Good showers and washroom. No fires allowed. Shuttle to casino (and, more importantly, hot tub/swimming pool). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very friendly staff, both on the phone and in person. Check-in person was cheerful and very accommodating about giving us a wider handicapped spot. Has a good, fenced-in dog run. At first glance this looks like a crowded parking lot and you wonder how anyone got their rig in here! However, it was much more maneuverable than it appeared and made a nice overnight spot. They even have a casino shuttle that will pick you up at your space for gaming and dining. Nice touch. We will definitely use this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I reviewed this park last fall and gave it a good review. Since then they have changed owners and also changed policies. While the park is still in very good condition they no longer give coupons and it appears the price has gone up. So there you have it, a higher price and no perks at a casino campground. We won't be back. Oh by the way they do have WIFI now but didn't work while we were there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I agree with some of the other reviews that many of the sites are short. The width/spacing wasn't bad, but we had no room to park our truck at our site. Luckily the park wasn't very full and we were allowed to park our tow vehicle in the adjacent site. Our trailer is 29'. Anything over 32' would be tough. Guests are allowed to use the pool at the adjacent hotel which is very nice. We were a bit disappointed that they no longer provide the casino and food coupons, but for $25 we really have no complaints. We would stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We found this park to be clean and well maintained. The sites are close as typical in most parks. We received more in coupons for the casino than the cost of the site. It has a fenced dog run. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very clean park and what you pay, you get back in casino coupons. The only thing I didn't like was there was no Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very clean park located in town next to a casino. Seemed to have low power as TV would only come on very early in the AM or around midnight. Other than that, this is a nice place for a couple of days. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice campground. Asphalt spaces, but not quite level. We were given a card for a free drink and some free gambling money. RV users can use the hotel facilities. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The only thing that I didn't like about this campground was that the sites in our row and the next were a little too short. We all had to park our trucks sideways in front of our trailers, making the road narrow. Some folks had to move their trucks so the people in the next site could pull out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The food in the casino was good, staff was friendly. We will stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I agree with another poster that if you are in the first row, it is tight making the turn from the entrance. Other than that, this is a very nice park with clean bathrooms an showers, a very nice fenced in dog run. It is a short walk to the casino. The casino restaurants are great. The food is very consistent and well prepared. Nice indoor pool and spa and exercise room. The sites are all blacktopped with trees and grass areas for each site. The front of our site slopped somewhat which made it tough to level the coach if fully forward in the site. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I had to wait a while before I wrote this otherwise I would have rated this park badly. Overall, the park is nice, clean, with trees and grass. But beware of the first row if you have a big rig. They placed us in the first row but we couldn't make the turn from the park entrance so we drove around to get a better angle. They had parked another big rig in the first slip which hung over into the road and on the other side of it were low hanging pine trees. We ended up getting stuck between the two. Couldn't move forward without hitting the other rig or ripping up our rig with the large tree branches nor move backward because of the tow which we now couldn't get off. The owner of the other big rig was gone (they have a 7 day stay rule but we were told the other big rig had been there a month). Anyway, the resort had to remove a part of the tree so we could straighten out our rig enough to get the tow off after which we had to back out carefully. It took 3 individuals from the resort (who were fabulous) to then still get us past the trees and other big rig. We strongly recommend that you remove your tow before moving down your row, we speak from experience here. Also, the pads are not all that level. On the positive side, the food in the casino was very good especially their express lunch. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Beautiful landscaping. Each space had a picnic table and grassy area. The bathrooms were immaculate and well-maintained. The hotel was a short walk away or could be accessed by free shuttle after 4 pm. The lovely pool/spa in the hotel were available for free use by RV Park guests. Hotel had a nice casino and good restaurant. They even gave coupons for Casino, nightclub, and gift shop discounts. They also had a clean, fenced dog run. Enter the park from behind the Shell station, not from the hotel. When pulling in, if kiosk is not staffed, call the desk from the kiosk phone. They will tell you what space to use, and you can check in later at the hotel. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The crowd here is a mix between casino visitors and those using it for a base camp for other adventures. We fell in the latter category, spending our time geocaching and back-roading, but it is nice to have nearly all hours food and coffee available at the casino/hotel. A bit of noise on Friday night, but otherwise OK in spite of being in town. WiFi is free, but flakey: intermittent bandwidth and lots of random signal drops on both of our laptops. We will be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Really a nice layout, with slight terracing of the individual sites that give excellent drainage away from the entry door, but very level in the actual parking area. Everything that we saw was clean and well maintained (didn't use the laundry or restroom/shower facilities). The park is behind a Shell Food-mart (that turned out to be handy-oops), adjacent to the casino and restaurants. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by mountains. Traffic noise at night was minimal, and rather than clumping half a dozen people together in an otherwise empty park, everybody was spaced out. Be aware, though, we had to complete registration at the hotel registration desk as the kiosk was closed. This means either a shuttle ride or a short walk. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The Park was clean and well maintained. Wi-fi and cable worked well. Discount coupons for the restaurants were a bonus and food was good. Access was good to the pull through spots. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
RV park entrance is located behind the Shell gasoline station; do not enter at the Inn/Casino. The Inn/Casino is about 100 yards away (shuttle available 4pm to min-night). If no one is in the RV park check-in shack, use the courtesy phone, and they will assign you a site; then walk to the Inn to complete the registration. All paved sites with a little grass patch and table. Wi-Fi is now free, and reception was good. Cable TV, clean showers, swimming pool at Inn. Very strict pet rules enforced. Not really a family RV park, as it has a limited area for activities; besides they want you in the Casino. We enjoyed our stay and will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Looks nice at first, but it is a real challenge manuvering a moderate to large rig around within the park. Tow vehicles are parked in the way, which adds difficulty to an already poor layout. The park was clean, restaurants nearby. If I had a smaller rig, I might think about coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very tight for our 40' motorhome, and will be tight depending on whether there's a 5th wheel/truck near you. Had to ask the neighbor to move their car. Many sites had unusable sloping area in front, so length of site is deceiving. Wifi was via a slow intranet, so only paid for an hour. Katie's Restaurant in the hotel was good. Diesel sold on site. Difficult to enter 395 if heading south after staying here. Will not bother to stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice clean park. Layout a little tight for larger rigs in some places. Sites very close together with layout of sites confusing with picnic tables on back side of trailers. Most sites require leveling, many have shade and grass. Clean park. Facilities 100 yards from main lodging with pool and restaurants with good food. Electric and sewer both good with no problems. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
All of the sites are paved, but most are very unlevel. Even though we had a reservation, the people before us with no reservation got the last pull through site available. Some of the sites have grass next to them, but some only have it behind the rig. It is very clean and well kept, but the pool is part of the hotel and casino, not the campground. The lady who runs the campground is very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Sites are a bit close and some are a bit steep making it a bit difficult to hook/unhook a 5th wheel. (They are flat for the 5er) REALLY clean & well kept up. Nice restaurants in the casino, offer great senior meals. Best park we stayed at on the entire trip!! We spent 5 days here & should have stayed longer! We would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Lovely RV Park. Each space has its own small cement pad with picnic table and lush green
grass. The restroom and laundry facilities are first rate. Spaces are somewhat close together, but worth it. The casino is within a 3 minute walk, they also have a shuttle to and from. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Located smack on highway 395, but the light traffic noise died down every night. Competitively priced gas station and propane on site. A few trees, clean river rock/gravel sites. Very clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. Manager who checked us in gets an A+ for friendly, efficient process. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, relatively quiet park with a great view of the mountains, close to shopping and dining. Roads between rows is fine for driving, but a little difficult for maneuvering a big rig. Be prepared to swing wide. There are "No Pets" signs in the lush grassy areas and the dog parks are sand, dirt and gravel. Our pets are family members, you charge us $2 a day per pet, please be more respectful of them. There are sprinklers that water the grass in the mornings. While I understand this, it would be helpful if there was a way to warn the people in the dog park that the sprinklers were getting ready to soak the dog park area. In times when the park is not busy, it would be nice if the office personnel could stagger campers throughout the park a little better than packing big rigs right next to each other leaving other parts of the park empty. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate based on weekly rate. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City or Virginia City, which is what we did. Site are concrete pads with gravel all around, so no dust blowing around. There is a pool, hot tub, laundry, hair salon, store, propane, gas and diesel fuel and playground available so you can get pretty much everything you need without leaving the campground. If you do need more, there are plenty of restaurants and retail stores five minutes away. There is a Walmart Supercenter nearby as well. I was able to wash my truck and trailer for a $5.00 fee which was great. We are full timers and find that many RV parks don't allow washing of rigs. We would certainly stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here for three nights while seeing all the attractions in the area including Virginia City, Carson City and the Nevada State Museum, the little town of Genoa and more. There were mostly permanent residents in the park at this time of year with just a scattering of travelers coming and going. The park is very tidy and well laid out and offers many amenities. The restrooms and showers were particularly clean and spacious! Didn't notice much in the way of noise, even from the nearby highway. Wi-Fi worked well. This would be a hot place to stay in the summer as most of the trees between the sites are not yet mature enough to provide any shade, but there is a pool available for cooling off on those hot summer days. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Park was just OK. We were over nighting so didn't use any of the facilities. Quite a bit of road and airplane noise. Store and gas station was convenient. Staff was friendly. My stay here again if needed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
These folks could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Harrahs Auto Museum, Virginia City and the surrounding area. Pull throughs were concrete, level and clean. Everything worked well and it was a great stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Good stop on 395, stayed here to visit some of the neighboring towns in the area. The address is in Minden, but it is actually just south of Carson City, and several miles north of the downtown area of Minden. Very friendly at check-in, and the property has a lot of amenities. Gas, propane, groceries, etc., even a pond! Very clean sites, rocks with concrete strips to park your RV. My only wish would be that there would be more trees, and some mature trees; could get a little warm! (Guess this will come in time.) Everything seems fairly new. The sites had plenty of room for us. Internet service was as usual in the parks, just OK. I have just gotten to the realization; this is just an added extra, that may or may not work well. They just want to be able to advertise that they have it! We will probably stay here again when traveling 395. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is IMO the best park/value in the area. Great Wi-Fi, cable, clean, staff great, etc., etc. True, the "patios" are rock/gravel, but that is fine with us, better than the dirt in many parks. Escort to site, basics in their store, fuel/propane on premises. The few permanent residents appeared to keep their spaces up better than a lot of others we have been in. We will stay here when back in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean, friendly park right on 395. We are staying a month. Sites are a bit narrow, but not a problem in the winter (see below). Several small dog-walking areas, but recommend dog park a couple of miles down the road in Carson City. Buildings are all sparkling clean. There is a monthly rate that is significantly less, even with the charge for electricity. One big drawback is very friendly staff does not always know what they are doing. It took 3 tries to get our 34 foot motorhome into a 50 amp site with enough room for our slide (small trees are planted too close to the curb). Also they didn't know about the propane delivery logistics or schedule, and gave much misinformation, even though they sell the service. On the phone they said the internet was great, but when we checked-in they said is problematic in a lot of spots. We picked a spot near the tower and have had no problems. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was our second time to stay at this CG. The new management has made some nice improvements. Both stays were only one-nighters as we were crossing the country, so we didn't take advantage of all of the facilities. The major improvement for us was FREE Wi-Fi. The previous stay was extra cost and didn't work, but this time it worked just fine. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meet our needs. This area can be very windy, so be careful about extending your awnings. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is one of the nicest campgrounds in the area. When we originally looked at it I was not that impressed but after staying for 5 nights (we added 3 after we got there) I really liked the place. They have a wonderful staff & a new manager who was great. The pool & spa were clean and a good temperature. The laundry room & bathrooms both were exceptionally clean. They have the most well-stocked store I have come across and their living room area was great. 2 big screen TV's, sofas, big table and chairs and a great internet connection. If in the area again I would definitely stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This RV Park has an open setting in the Carson Valley. It has pull through sites, which are not long enough for our MH and attached small car and reach the hook ups at the rear of the site. All sites had hook ups in the extreme rear of the site. We could not connect our sewer hose because of the location of the hook ups. Everything else worked well. The Park was neat and clean everywhere. We planned on staying only one night and we did. I gave it a lower rating because of the lack of shade and hook up locations. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is by far the best campground we visited in the area. The site we had was a pull through and was of good size for a big rig. Ours was extremely level which was a pleasant surprise. It is a little tricky to drive onto the concrete strips and it required a long sewer hose as the connection was at the very back of the site. The roads are quite narrow but not a problem. There is a bit of road noise and no security. Everything was really clean and the staff was friendly as well as helpful. We would recommend the park and would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We arrived on April 27 and paid for a month. The rate was 425 plus a 100 deposit for electricity. The staff was helpful. The roads are paved and the sites have concrete strips for the tires. Otherwise the sites are rock. The power is good. Be careful when you check in as some of the sewer connections are at the very rear of the pull thru sites and you will need a long hose to dump. Some rows have the sewer towards the middle of the site. They have a decent store and gas station with a nice lounge for guests. We would stay here again. I am a tough critic but will give this park a seven and recommend it. It is close to Lake Tahoe and Carson City. The casinos are fun with some having good food at a reasonable price. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very friendly welcome when checking in. Park has gas and propane service, some of the lowest gas prices around (if you leave your debit card in the office while filling up: they consider it the same as cash for the low price.) Sites wide enough, cement tracks to park on and test your driving skill! Good Sam discount. Handy to Carson City. Nice pet area and fishing pond. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We found the park to be clean, the sites paved, but with rock/stone small yard. We found the staff to be very friendly, BUT the management was not so. After staying for 2 months, we asked for a different site, twice, and management chose not to accommodate us. They had many excuses such as and not limited to; "It is a lot of paper work for my staff." "We will have to read your meter." "We have other campers that have been here longer than you, that might want that site." (As I type, the site is still empty), etc. etc. etc. We have camped here off and on for several years, this will be out last stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very large park with lots of amenities, most of which we didn't use, so we found it expensive for what we did use. But everything in this area is expensive, and it is a nice park. Our major complaint is that the sites are narrow. We had to remove a couple of branches from the tree at the side of the site because it was scratching the side of our slideout when the wind blew. The sites are gravel (actually fairly large rocks) except for two strips on which you're supposed to park. The utilities are all at the rear, so we didn't have much option of pulling up to get away from the tree and we had to use our macerator to empty the tanks, as our normal hoses wouldn't reach. They do allow you to park your tow vehicle on the gravel at the side, which is good because our truck wouldn't have fit otherwise. I was never able to access the Wi-Fi but I don't know if that was their problem or mine. We have our own internet access so it wasn't a big problem. The cable TV is good, the electric power is strong and the water pressure is good. It looked like there were lots of seasonal or permanent residents: lots of trailers without tow vehicles evident, but all the sites looked clean and tidy (they have lots of rules on that subject). On balance, we'd come back here if we were in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Interesting campground with the concrete strips where the tires are suppose to go and then the rest of the site being gravel. Wi-Fi is "free". Have to go in and get a sheet with a user name a password for every 4 hours of use, but plans are to change that. They gave cable TV "free" to us also. Maybe because we were staying for nine days/nights. But with this price they both should be in with the price. The only other complaint other then the price, is the traffic noise. The farther back in the campground you can get no doubt will be better. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The site was nothing special; in fact, the hookup box was falling apart. And babies in the spa. Setting that aside this was a great place for our overnight. I don't think we have ever had a better / more caring staff anyplace. At check-in I owed them for the pet fee and it came to $1.10 and I gave him $2. He tossed one dollar back and reached in his pocket for the dime. His money or the maybe the resort's - makes no difference; it was the idea of it. As we are walking around one of the staff members (had SC shirt on) asks if she can answer questions or help out - shows us the large, spotless laundry and the ladies bathroom to DW. As we are walking back to the 5er we see her going to a room and getting supplies - yup, one of her jobs is cleaning the bathrooms! And you would not know it from her manner or appearance. Then, I messed up on the Wi-Fi and charges and all - definitely my fault. Called them at 8 PM and the guy got on a cart and brought me new connection codes no charge even though I told him it was my fault. Yup, would go back there again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great little store with RV supplies and groceries. Has a gas station on site, as well as a beauty shop! Restrooms and pool areas were very clean. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. All pavement, concrete and asphalt, so very clean, a treat after coming from remote campgrounds with nothing but dirt underfoot. Has a few trees. Not cheap, but a convenient location for day trips to Lake Tahoe and Virginia City and into Carson City. I am a solo traveling female. Felt perfectly safe in this park. Would definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park, but overpriced. I have stayed here a number of times in the past. They sprayed for weeds all over the gravel and actually left pools of it. This is potentially a problem for pets and people. The sites have gravel which is quite large and not particularly user friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This RV park is clean and well maintained with a service station and store on site. This was my second visit to the park, and if in the area I would not hesitate to visit again. The staff was friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice park and fairly new. Only problem we had was the electrical box was at the very end of the site and our cord didn't reach. Don't know about the Wi-Fi status: husband didn't want to pay extra for it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very poor quality Wi Fi, which we paid $5 extra for 4 hours, plus the charge daily for cable. The site was not level, and rather smallish lengthwise. I would stay elsewhere next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I would rate the CG higher except for three problems. They cannot eliminate the road noise from the nearby highway but that could correct erratic water pressure and (in time) the lack of shade. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice park with good paved parking pads that are good sized. Patio area is unfortunately filled with rather large gravel. The park has excellent facilities and is well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful, and the location makes it convenient to all services. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We are full-time R.V. residents and are currently living at Silver City RV Resort as my husband works nearby. We have lived here for 6 months now and have been completely happy with the services. The staff are quick to respond to any problem and very helpful. This park is very pet friendly with three dog parks that provide waste removal bags at each site. The clerks will hand out "treats" for your pet if requested. The pool and spa are kept clean and orderly and there are "Adult Only" hours posted and enforced at the pool/spa. There is an on-site Beauty Shop, a nice convenience store, a small Casino, a lovely large community room w/fireplace and kitchen for residents use and a catch/release fishing pond, putting green and walking area with trees and grass. The only reason I couldn't give this park the highest rating is the lack of mature trees to provide shade during the hot summer months. We will continue to live here until we retire in two years and will stay here whenever we are in the Carson City area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Much of what the previous reviewer is true; way too costly and they have the nerve to charge for WiFi and cable. Streets narrow and the sites are all rock except for two concrete paths to park the RV on. It was clean, though. There is a big shopping center nearby. Traffic getting in and out is bad. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Price on the high side and you have to pay for WiFi, $5 for four hours and $2 a day for Cable extra. Also, Motothomes will have to unhook tow car to get into most sites as the streets are narrow. All in all, a nice place but next time I will try another park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very poor management. I would not recommend if you are looking for cleanliness. Cleaning lady spends all her time hiding in laundry when she should be cleaning. You have to avoid using laundry at that time or will be bothered. Also, handicap ladie's room has been out of order for some time. Now the 2nd of 4 toilets are broke in same rest room. I went to use the sink in ladie's room once & a beagle was tied up to faucet. Was glad to leave. The staff that works in the store are good, except for women who appears to be in charged. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is clean and the clubhouse is nice. The park really lacks in customer service and management. We have been here for 2 months and will soon be leaving. The staff never knows what is going on with issues in the park. The park flooded badly December 31st and nobody knew what to do. We ended up at the Wal-Mart parking lot for our new years. They didn't seem to care. We found out it happens often and that the guests are on their own to deal with any problems that arise. The park will not take care of it. Needless to say, we will not be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
