We pulled into Reno to stay 2 nights and chose to stay on the west side of town. This park is located next to a sketchy mobile home park but the RV park itself is private with tall rock/brick walls. It was quiet at night and we had no problems. As a bonus, from our spot we could see the lights of Reno below - it was quite pretty. We would stay here again if we were in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We changed our reservation by a day a week before we arrived, and they gladly refunded the amount. This campground is VERY quiet but no real amenities, but it works well as a home base for visiting Reno. Reasonably close to Hwy 395 to get downtown and around the city. Our site was very wide with lots of room for our tow car. The only issue was backing in, as it was steep. We could physically do it, but with a 40 ft rig our tow bar was really scraping the ground. It took quite a bit of maneuvering to get in without hurting our tow bar. Once in, we were able to level the rig. The site was gravel but neat. Walking the dog was easy by going outside the campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We only camped here for 1 night, as we were just passing through, but our experience was fine. We called around to other parks on our way to Reno, and this park had seemed most reasonable. Very quiet, with polite management. I would say it's a good "home base" if you're there to explore Reno, as it's mostly just a spot to park and use the facilities rather than relax and spend time. Our spot was up front by the office, and was level (concrete) with gravel around, however it was somewhat tough to back in due to incline up to concrete slab. Not a big deal, just may be challenging to park for some. Site was clean except for a couple of really nasty pieces of personal trash that management should have probably seen and discarded. Quite a few long term residents, it appeared, but everyone seemed to keep their site pretty clean! Bathrooms were a bit of a walk from our site, but they were clean, and showers were clean with good water pressure. We would stay here again, though I might be tempted to check out some other parks too. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We dropped in without a reservation and were accommodated with a nice back-in site. The site was gravel but very clean and had plenty of room for our large truck. The bathrooms were great, older but refurbished. They were spotless, and I observed someone checking them every day. We had good cable, and the wi-fi was excellent. No picnic tables, but we had our own table for outside. The manager in the office was great and offered us many suggestions for things to do during our visit to Reno. The roads needed some repair, but we did not have any trouble driving on them. We will definitely go back there when traveling through Reno again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park but well maintained. The roads need work, but park is clean, friendly and quiet. We found the managers and office staff very friendly, helpful and approachable for information and conversation. We had our grandchildren with us, and although they did not have a playground, the managers offered us wonderful suggestions of things to do with our grandchildren. The bathrooms were very clean, the laundry uses a token system which was OK, the wi-fi system was great, and they have a computer in the office as well. This was a little unknown gem, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will stay there again if we return to Reno. Much more friendlier than the bigger RV parks in Reno. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a lot of work to be done. The roads are bad, the restrooms are dirty as well as the showers. There are dog droppings all over. This park offers nothing. The sites have weeds and large gravel. If you stay here, bring a rake so you can level your site. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Problems and excuses galore. I registered 5 months in advance for three nights because of large motorcycle ride-in event that sells out entire Reno/Sparks Nevada at $51.00 per night. My credit card was charged immediately. We drove 500 miles to Reno event expecting adequate accommodations. Upon arrival they had only a space that was 10 feet too short for my 36 ft. RV, or an unimproved site that included services but was not level. After setting, up we noticed lots of dog waste, where full-timers in park had allowed animals to do their thing. Every other park in town was sold out by this time or we would have definitely moved. Our only option was to drive 500 miles back home missing the ride-in. We opted to stay under the circumstances. Due to animal stuff we removed our shoes before entering our RV. The park had a very nice space sitting vacant across the way and when asked why we couldn't stay there, we were told that a party was coming in two nights and because of expected party’s very large RV size she was NOT going to put them out on the street. The space sat vacant for two nights and when they arrived that Saturday, the 5th wheel was no larger than ours when I stepped it off, and would have fit in our site just fine. That was the last straw. I will never be back to this park again and would not recommend this park to anyone, Good Sam Club or not. All we asked was we get what we bargained for, and what we got was excuses and NOT what we bargained for. My wife and I were the looser and when expressing our disappointment, the manager felt we should be more flexible. Would you? We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has mostly full time occupants but is nice, clean, and neat. The area we were in was recently renovated with concrete pads and have some shade trees. Pads are short, close together, with no grass only gravel. Washer and dryers require tokens and were neat and clean. WI-FI worked great and was free. Access road is being paved and should be done in a few days. Not a great park, but OK. We would stay again as the price seems right for what you get and the managers are very nice. However, beware that they have a no refund policy so don't pay for more nights then you know you will be there. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a month and the management were the best we have ever come across. They followed up to see if we were settled in ok, and if you needed something all you had to do was ask. They are upgrading there sites, and it is a very clean park, We will stay there again when in the area. Would recommend this park to everybody. They also had washers and dryers that worked very well. Web site stated gravel sites, this is correct. All sites are either gravel or asphalt. Entrance road is in construction area and is in really poor shape, slow down and watch for pot holes. Managers are very nice and helpful, computer in office area is available for use as WiFi was down for repairs while we were there. Restrooms and showers have just been remodeled and are very nice. They were well maintained and cleaned daily. There is a daily pet charge of $1 per day per pet but no pet run or play area. We walked our dogs to entrance where there is a larger dirt area. It looks as if a large percentage of park quests are long term quests but management keeps the park clean and well maintained. There is no grass and a few tree's, I did not see any play area for children. For a short stay or for long term employment stays this would be a nice park, if you are looking for grass, shade trees, sitting out and bbq'ing I would not recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Bordertown RV Resort is about 7 miles outside of Reno. We prefer being out of the hubbub of city. There is a new Walmart about 7 miles away, also grocery stores, etc. We liked the area so much that we decided to stay for a month. The park is clean and neat. The sites are level with a nice grassy area. Management is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a small casino and restaurant within walking distance which is part of the RV park. The food is good - they have daily specials after 3:30 and the food is so reasonably priced. We even won some money at the casino... Extremely quite, peaceful park. Would definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice place. The gentleman in the office was very friendly and helpful. The sites are all paved with concrete and each has grass and a picnic table. Small trees divide each site. Roads are asphalt, so the place remains very clean. They load you up with coupons to encourage you to go to the casino. Great Wi-Fi. With Good Sam discount the nightly rate is $29. Overall a nice place and will definitely stop here again on our way through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Bordertown Casino and RV Park is 15 miles north of Reno on Hwy 395. They have just about everything you need for a few day stop. There is a store, gas station, casino, restaurant, etc. The Park Host is very friendly and engaging and makes sure you have all the coupons you’ll need for a nice dinner and a little gaming. Our spot was very wide, level, paved and long enough for 45' of RV plus tows. Satellite worked perfect with no obstructions. This is a beautiful RV park in a beautiful area of the country. The casino and restaurant are right next door to the RV Park. I will stay here again in a heartbeat and hopefully for more than one night. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 9 nights for the Reno Air Races. Flat level concrete sites. Could not put out awning due to location I had to put slide out to miss pedestal. Great helpful staff. Great park easy to find with super level paved sites with excellent utilities and a picnic table. They also have a dog run. We were there during air races and even at full capacity it was quiet. There is a casino right here and they have a great little restaurant inside the casino with very reasonable prices. Management was a pleasure to deal with. GS discount not in price due to air race events. We absolutely would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean park on the Nevada / California boarder. Each site is paved and you step out of your RV onto soft grass! Very nice and relaxing. Casino, restaurant and small store across the parking lot from the RV park. A bit pricey but this is Reno and the park is spotless. Have stayed here before and will stay here again when in the area. Very nice park for a quick stopover on our way to Arizona. Nice manager. The only problem I had...I was too short for the lights in the bathroom shower which stay on due to movement. I had to flip my towel up so the "eye" could see me! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very clean, quite park. After reading the reviews on this park, we were not disappointed. Office staff were very friendly and quite helpful. We went for the Italian Festival in Reno. Was a nice place to stay from the crowds in town. We will stay again when in the area. Highly recommend the park, the restaurant, gas station, gift store next to property are all convent. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an attractive RV park, with good landscaping. It is about ten miles north of Reno. However, the interior roads are so narrow that you can't drive your rig down them when there are other RVs parked, as vehicles are sticking out due to short pull-through sites. So, you have to go around the perimeter road. The manager was gruff and a bit of a bully. He told us that the price was $36.75 per night, and that included the 10% Good Sam discount. At first he refused to take our $5 Good Sam coupon (and said he's never accepted one before), but he finally relented. Our final price was $36 with tax, which is interesting, since recent reviewers said that they paid just $34 a night. This guy does no favors to his park. The price is too high for what you are getting - let's face it, it's just a place to park your RV and plug in. They don't send in maids to turn down the bed and put chocolates on your pillows. The site was not quite level and we just fit with our fifth wheel and truck, as we didn't unhook. Other than that the park is really nice. Although it's on the highway it is quiet. Wi-Fi is fabulous, and there are about 60 cable channels. We would stay here again, especially if the staff were more pleasant. We would have given it a higher rating if we didn't feel that we'd been rooked at the front counter. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Passing through the area. Stayed 1 night. Just OK but, it kind of irked me when I saw their many Good Sam banners all over the place, and they wouldn't accept Good Sam membership discounts, because we were lucky to get in. The place was full for a "special area event." Lots of rules. Site pads (concrete) are not very wide and despite a rule to park on the pad, modern rigs are just barely able to accomplish that because the pads are very narrow. Dogs must use the dog area for their business and be on a leash at all times. OK with that. Given that a dog can't read, they don't always obey the business part. Saw some dog owners that I assume can read, ignoring the leash and 'pick-up-after Fido' rules. This place is well-maintained, but appears old and close-in crowded. Probably won't stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for the Reno Air Races and glad we did. This CG is about 15 miles from downtown and 7 miles from the airport. Sites are large and paved. Lush grass abounds. They are constantly working on keeping the place looking great. Staff was friendly. Wi-Fi was spotty at times. Verizon signal was very strong. Lot of trees that are starting to mature. OK, you ask, if so great why not a 10? I refuse to give a 10 to a park that is laid out so that the afternoon sun hits the passenger side of the coach. There must be a lot of $$ to be made in running a Campground Layout School since so few have a clue. Having said that, this is a great place and we highly recommend it. Can't say the same for the casino. Dark, dank and smoky. We definitely would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice place for a night or two. Good level cement pads but if you are pulling a fifth wheel and want to stay hooked up bring extra electrical cable and hoses as the power pedestal and water hook up are closer to the front of the site than the back. Dog rules are somewhat restrictive although I can understand it is hard to keep a green lawn in the desert. Verizon air card was strong as was AT&T phone. Park wi-fi is decent as were the showers/restrooms. We were too tired to try the casino but maybe next time. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park for a night or two. The facilities are immaculate. Paved roads and concrete patios at every site with a small concrete picnic table. Grass between each site and all hookups are in very good shape. The laundry and restrooms are clean as a whistle. There are two negatives - no pool and you are a long way from downtown Reno. But, you get coupons to use at the small casino next door for food and beverage discounts. The food in the casino restaurant is very good and they have specials almost every day. Nothing to do for kids, so if you have any, stay somewhere else. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in this campground last year and enjoyed it so thought we would come again. Although it is a nice park, I am not sure it is worth $43.98 for weekdays and $45.98 for weekends a night which is what it now costs. We were told that we are getting a special discount as KOA members and doing the weekly rate. Really! $302.06 for a week doesn't feel that special to me. Site was level and shady. This park is a fair piece up the road from Reno - and thus is very, very quiet at night. Easy late-night check-in, just pick a spot and pay at the office in the morning. The dog park is a wedge-shaped dirt and gravel section between the park and the RV storage yard. It was adequate in size but dusty, hot and pretty stinky - our dog would only stay in it long enough to take care of business. There are no dogs allowed on any of the grassy areas - it would be nice if there was at least one area with grass designated (for the dogs' comfort). Our site was level, good sized, and had a shade tree. The Wi-Fi only worked intermittently - which was very frustrating for our son trying to do his schoolwork. Overall, it was clean, quiet, easy, friendly, and made for a good overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

All the sites are long and wide enough for our 38' MH and toad, with green grass and small trees between sites. Level concrete slabs and paved roads. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. Dog walk is small-ish, but the adjacent fenced RV storage yard had a lot of room for the dogs to run and chase balls off-leash. The coupons for free drinks and $1 meals at the casino/restaurant next door are great. Wi-Fi works well, and there are tons of channels on the cable. Even though there is no pool, no fire rings, no cabins, no putt-putt golf, I still consider it a resort because it offers the casino and a great view of the mountains. Which, at the moment, are still snow-capped and beautiful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I like the site: concrete and pretty level. Wish the dog run had grass instead of rock and was not lighted at night, but the dogs used it just fine! Our spot was a flat level concrete slab that required no leveling. There was grass and gravel on both sides of the site. There were multiple, cable TV channels available. There was free Wi-Fi and the speed of the Wi-Fi was good. There was a concrete table with benches in each site. The sites are long and relatively narrow. I was easily able to park my 30 foot trailer and my 22 foot truck in my spot. There was only one small area where my step would come down over concrete instead of on the lawn. Due to the utility stanchion, bushes and tree, I had to maneuver so I could open my 40 inch slide out. Because of a tree, I was unable to open my awning. The sprinklers came on every night and soaked the site. I was warned of this by the staff so I put my chairs away every night to keep them dry. The dog run is enclosed, and has a gravel base for the dogs to run on. The food at the Border Town Casino next door was good and reasonably priced. The RV Park supplied coupons for a free drink, $1 off a meal, a raffle ticket for a jacket and two other items. Even though the Park has a Reno address, the Park is 20 minutes from down town Reno. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Besides being a very clean and neat park, the personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We needed to have some repairs done on our RV and had to be in a hotel for 5 days. We didn't have any luggage and the park managers loaned us theirs. That was above and beyond what is expected of park personnel. Our stay was exceptionally pleasant. When we first arrived at Border Town we told the staff in the office that I was here to have to have surgery. They told my husband not to worry, they would put us on a tab and would figure out the amount when we were ready to leave. We were able to stay in the same spot the entire time, and even had us penciled in through Hot August Nights which packs the RV parks. It was a great relief to know that my husband loved the park and had a place with good food right next door to the park with staff/bartenders who are very friendly and outgoing. No, this isn't a resort with a pool and community center with big screen TV, etc. But the grounds are attractive and well maintained. The casino/restaurant/deli pizza has good food and the casino doesn't have screeching bells and whistles every time someone hits a small pay out. We were charged for a month, a week and 3 days. Total was $709.00. We found the downtown Reno area to be anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees warmer than where Border Town is located. There is only 1 thing I would suggest when pulling into your site. Hug the drivers side of the cement pad as close as you can get to give you more of an area to walk along since they water the grass strips at night. This way you won't be walking in the wet grass in the mornings. This is the only park we stay in while in the area. Thanks Border Town! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stay here alot! This '09 visit was our first. The spaces are all pull-throughs of the same size but the vegetation on both sides of the concrete pad impacts rig placement. Sometimes the trees or bushes affect the slide outs or door/stairs. Because we have a rear door we had to be very careful about how far we set into the site. The concrete picnic table is NOT movable and we didn't want to step out onto the table. The casino is next door and FUN! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park is way over-rated. It's not a resort by any definition. I'm not sure what the others see in this place. The sites are narrow and short. There are trees planted between sites that get in the way of the slides. There is a narrow strip of grass between sites. This is nothing more than a tight concrete parking lot. We stay here when we’re in the Reno area or passing through. It’s a very nice park and well maintained. While there we couldn’t believe how many people had dogs around us. One of our neighbors had 5 dogs in their coach!! Before we left we noticed that one of the rows of sites had a sign that said NO DOGS. Wish we had known before hand as it was very busy in the front row since the dog walking area was almost in front of our site. Dogs passing each other were constantly barking no matter if it was day or late at night. This park is not child friendly as there’s nothing for them to do. Water, power and sewer were very good and we had a very good signal for our cell phone, Air card (Verizon) and dome satellite. The Wi-Fi at the park worked very well too. The Casino is next to the park and we like the atmosphere there over the larger casinos where it’s so loud you just want to get out as quick as possible. We’re not big gamblers, but we do play video poker at the bar for about an hour and then grab something to eat in their cafe. There’s a Chevron Station at the base of the park that carries diesel and propane. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is without Good Sam discount, as they do not honor during the week of the "Hot August Nights" rally. This is where a lot of folks show: including cars from the 50's and 60's. As at most of these rallies, prices go up, including gas. Gas went up about $0.12 since we got here. The park is very nice, easy access and all pull-throughs. They do not even ask the length of your rig as the sites are all large concrete pads with room for your toad. Very clean, neat and well laid out, with grass at every site and a small table. The temperatures have been in the mid 90's, with isolated thunder showers, so the 50 amp was needed. The Verizon cell and air-card strength was very good. Can be windy: a motorhome neighbor lost it's awning. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park next to a small but friendly casino, only about 100 machines. This is a really windy area, about 7 miles north of Reno. Good location on Hwy 395 to continue into northern California. Hosts were very nice and had propane on site and diesel. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is our 3rd visit to “The Best Little RV Park in Reno” Each time here we see the improvements continue. The sites are paved, level, clean and have excellent power, water and sewer connections. The Wi-Fi is strong and fast and the cable TV has 50+ channels. This is a very enjoyable park. We had business to tend to in Reno and family to visit in the area, so this was very centrally located. The grounds were clean, the sites were level and well landscaped. The staff was very friendly and helpful also. The only downside was that the laundry and restrooms could have been better tended to. They were not really dirty, but the floors were not great looking. We are planning on returning in the fall for another stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice for a night or two if you want to gamble in the casino. This is NOT a resort, it is an RV park but it is NOT by Cabelas as one reviewer stated. Cabelas is by the Boomtown KOA on I-80, this park is Bordertown which is on 395. Pretty quiet, nice grass and level spaces. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food at the casino is good, especially their famous sandwiches. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Way overpriced at $35, which inc. tax and a GS discount, supposedly. No "resort" to this at all, just a wide spot in the road. But it is a treat to see grass next to your site and to have LEVEL concrete pads. Wonderful cable tv access and free wifi although we did not use it. Good Verizon aircard and cell reception. Only one toilet per gender plus 4 unisex shower rooms with no ventilation nor electric outlets. Ok for a quick stop but nothing to do here and too expensive. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice, clean, quiet park. Sites are a bit small, as is maneuvering, but it's manageable. There's actually grass between each space, which is nice. You can ride your ATV right from the park onto local trails. The only negative is that when I was there, they had no sewer hookups, just a dump station. The only reason I rated this campground an 8 (instead of a 10) is due to the lack of sewer hookups, but they do have a dump area and a free to use roll around for dumping your rig. Staff indicated that there will be full hookups by next year. The staff is exceptionally friendly. We have business occasionally in Reno and have tried all the campgrounds in the area. This is, by far, the friendliest and quietest one we have found. Reno is a bit of a drive, but not a bad one. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed in this park once before for 2 weeks and this time for a month. The staff are very friendly. All sites are pull through and would be easy to maneuver with a big rig. We have a 34' Travel Trailer and were easily able to get into the sites. Rates are 25 a night with good sam and 448 per month. Sites are well maintained and park is very clean. No sewer hookup but there is a free dump and the park provides a portable tank so you won't have to move your RV. Cable and electricity are free. Wifi available for a fee. Wifi worked sporadically. We were in the back of the park and were told other RV's blocked the signal. With the exception of the Wifi and lack of sewer hookups this park would be a 10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Border Town Resort is a great little place to stay while in the Reno area. Next to a little casino with a good restaurant and store and gas station. A nice grassed area in each site with a patio and little cement table. Owners were very friendly. The only down side is there is no sewer hook at your site. There is a dumping station in the RV Park. This trailer park is within walking distance of downtown, which is it's biggest advantage. It's an older park with many permanent very old trailers there on annual rates, which is a bit unsightly. Bathrooms were average and the daily spots were OK. Staff was friendly, and overall a average older trailer park with over 50% very long term rented sites. This campground is mostly full time residents. Very small and tight entrance off main road.It has only about twenty sites available. The pull through are narrow and not much room for toad. Cars are parked all over making it hard to get into your spot. Locals watch you try to squeeze past their car instead of moving it for a minute. No where to walk your dog. Sites are dirt and not much room to sit outside or even open your awning. I would not camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Military folks get a 25% discount!! We stayed four nights and were upgraded for free from a back-in site to a pull-through upon arrival. Huge, double wide pull-through spaces. RVers get free use of the hotel's very fancy fitness center, which also features saunas and hot tubs. What a super place to stay for an incredible bargain price. Stayed here 2x, once in mid August and on the 3rd. Lots are clean and flat. There is a small dog park and you can walk along the river for a few hundred yards. Store is basic, but personnel pleasant. Best part of staying here: 2 Charlie Trotter restaurants in the hotel. The Italian one is superb, the other OK - spotty service. There is also a driving range for golf enthusiasts. The facilities in this park are great. They even have a television in the laundry room. The sites are level and wide. Having said that, there are a few drawbacks, e.g. the park's proximity to the airport and railroad. The shade trees are closer to being bushes so far as casting shade on a hot motor home. When you get off the Interstate, please pay close attention to the entry as it is very close to a busy intersection. You will have very little time for last minute decisions. Pretty bare camping on a parking lot, but the Truckee River flows right behind the lot. The staff never failed to be professional and cheerful. Some kids next to us didn't observe the 10pm quiet time. They were in/out/in/out slamming doors until 11:30pm. They were otherwise polite, however. There are 2 distinctly different sections in this park. The front section has some minor landscaping and paved spaces for the rig, truck and lounging around your site. The back section is mostly gravel with little to no amenities on the sites. In the back section, the site for the rig is paved and there is little space to sit outside your rig. The real plus to this RV Park is the proximity to the hotel/casino complex for visiting family or losing money hand over fist. Office staff are very helpful and professional. This campground is a large asphalt parking lot. That said, it really wasn’t that bad, which is why I gave it 7 stars. We were parked in a large pull through site behind the office. The site was pretty level and easy to get into. We were close to a grassy area for the dogs. The bathrooms were spotless. The employees were all friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle service to the casino and shopping mall. The free Wi-Fi was great, hooked right up to it without any problems. No cable, but the antenna worked just fine for TV. I did not think it was overly noisy for city camping, as some people complained. The casino was nice and had many restaurants to choose from. We did not care for the food at the diner. This is on the site of an old KOA - but now adjacent to the large hotel and casino. The roads are cracked and weeds are popping up everywhere in between. The spaces closest to the office seemed to be occupied mostly by resort employees. The closer-in sites are paved and the places toward the back are gravel. There is no cable TV, but we were able to get several digital channels over the air. The dog walk is sandy and has no shade - however they are just fine with walking dogs on the grassy areas and there is access to the river-walk path as well. There was some noise from the airport, distant trains, and road traffic - but overall not bad. It took a bit of doing to get level. They allowed a very late check-out (3 PM) - just ask at the desk and, if they are not too busy, it is no problem. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good central location for the Reno/Sparks area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stay when in Reno. The front sites and some of the back sites have cement pads. The roads are dirt and sometimes are a little dusty. Very nice RV park. Staff was very helpful. We stayed 13 days. The park is behind the beautiful Grand Sierra Casino and Resort (was the Hilton). We could use the Hotel and Casino pool, sauna etc. There is a river walk, a driving range into a lake, the wash room and rest rooms were excellent. They had a shuttle that would pick you up at your site and take you to the Casino. Very pet friendly with a pet walk and you can walk them along the River walk. Only negative is it is near the airport, so has aircraft noise during the day. Wi-Fi was excellent. Would use this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We like the location of this park. It is close to the medical facilities we need, shopping, dining, movie theatre, other casinos, etc. The staff is very helpful and friendly. While the front section has landscaped concrete pads, we usually stay in the back because it provides guaranteed satellite access and is closer to the fenced off-leash dog run. The price reflects AAA discount. This is a plain jane RV park - OK for a pass through Reno. It is close to the airport, but as long as the planes are coming in over you, it isn't too noisy. The only problem we found was that they didn't tell us that there were no 50 amp hookups at our site. So we tried to plug into 50 amps and nothing so hooked up to 30 and we were OK. When I asked on checking out about the 50 amps, the desk clerk said that he has asked for the 50 amps plugs to be removed for over 2 years. Oh well, 30 amps worked for us. It is quite a walk the casino and eateries, but you can call security for a ride, but allow up to 30 min. for that ride. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Office staff were very friendly. Level, roomy site. We were in the paved area in the front. The back sites are in gravel. Good water pressure. Picnic table and two lounge chairs provided. Site had cigarette butts thrown about, which is the fault of the inconsiderate prior RV'ers that did not dispose of them properly. No noise problem from airport. Pretty creek flows on edge of park. This park is very centrally located for both Reno and Sparks activities. While the front park has more landscaping, the back section is usually less crowded and closer to the fenced off-leash dog run. Most sites are pull-through with rough rock patio area. Back in sites were not level, so changed to a pull-through site. Stayed 4 days over Labor Day weekend. Free WiFi worked 3 days, used the air card for the middle day. Happy with assigned site but on the 3rd night discovered the site next to us was a check-in, check-out location for a rental RV agency. Had people in and out at all hours. The last night was quiet. One rental RV used an empty space across from us to dump and made a mess!! Called office but by the time they came to check the RV was gone and the mess had started to dry up. (After watching them dump, an observation I would make to anyone considering renting an RV: buy your own NEW drinking water hose. You don't know how the one furnished with the RV has been used.) Park location was very convenient, it was dog friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a huge park at the edge of Reno and Sparks. There is lots of variety between 30 and 50 amps, pull-throughs and back-ins. The hotel security patrols often and all day/night long. A shuttle can be called from the Casino to take you from your site to the gaming tables/slots. The office staff is very helpful and responsive. In the laundry, if you are using the washers that face the dryers be sure to check the water temperature as the cold and hot pipes were reversed when we were here. The office was told and was going to correct the problem, but verify. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Concrete! The Grand Sierra is a casino with an RV park. Getting there was interesting, yet not bad. The Casino and hotel is very nice. We did use the fitness center (which I would not recommend). The fitness center is very small and two of the machines I tried were broken. The pool is very nice. We did take a day trip to Virginia City. That is a great drive. Overall, very nice! This RV park was clean, but nothing more than a concrete lot with a few small trees. My main beef with the park is the swimming pool, which was OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. When we arrived there was a wild party with a cover cost to get into the pool. That continued every night after 8pm and all day Sat and Sun, basically when I wanted to swim. The GS casino was so full of cigarette smoke that we could not stand to use the facility for eating or anything else. We did see a movie here however. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park has no tv hookup. If you are ok with that then you have the first battle won. Next, there are very few NICE spots for 30 amp hookup. This place caters to the 50 amp family. When I spoke to the girl at the register she was VERY nice about everything, but she did say that the only 30 amp spaces were out in the "Desert Area." No trees, no grass, a few paved but the rest are gravel. The dog walk area is OK, but there is no grass there either. It is fenced in dirt. It has 2 sections though, so if you want your dog alone that is possible. The park is located near the casino and the "AquaRange" which is kind of cool. Otherwise, we are out by highway 395 and a ways from town. Oh, one more thing: the link on this page to the "View Map" for the location of this place, is wrong. I printed it to bring with us and after looking at it I decided to call the office. No where near what the map says. Do your own search for directions here. We would stay here again, IF we could get one of the VERY FEW nice 30 amp spots. (Note from Admin: Yes the map pin was wrong as no one had every set it to correct place. I fixed the problem.) Nothing more than an asphalt parking lot with hookups. I don't consider it full hookups when no cable is available. Sites were certainly wide enough to accommodate our small rig. We used a back-in site. There are no tables and a few lawn chairs thrown around the park. I tried to haul a few of the park lawn chairs to our site but they were too bulky and heavy for me to do so. I asked the park attendant to bring us a couple chairs but that never happened. Since the RV "Resort" is so sparse on amenities, don't come thinking you'll have nice outdoor bar-b-ques unless you like the "tail-gate" type of outdoor eating. Like I said, no tables so you'd have to sit on the dirty asphalt pavement. There is a wonderful pool at the adjoining hotel/casino, which was easy to walk to if you're in good shape. There is a sign posted on the pay phones saying you can call security for a ride to the casino. Since the weather was nice, we just walked each time, so I don't know how well this worked. I imagine you would get prompt pick up to take you to the casino, but may find yourself out of luck to get a courtesy shuttle away from the casino. the pool was very crowded with kids, as expected, since there isn't much else for kids to do in Reno. At 5:00pm each day the pool area started blasting loud music from the on-site bar attracting the bikini-clad singles group and scaring away the kids with the loud racket. The Cafe Sierra at the Grand Sierra Resort has excellent food, prices are affordable for families, and excellent waiters. The $6 kids meal was the best deal in Reno! The Fun Quest arcade area for kids is the usual rip off with token-driven machines. You save up a billion tickets and can trade them in for a cheap toy Made in China. There is a massive gated play area with tunnels and stuff for kids to crawl on but the $8 admission fee for a couple hours seemed a little steep to me so we didn't use it. The Hotel/Casino had some decent shops to walk around in and had a handy pizza place near the Fun Quest Arcade that the kids liked. This RV park served the purpose of having a place with hook ups, near a full casino, where the kids could be entertained and the spouses could trade off gambling while the other watches the kids. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good things about this park are the sites are wide and level, showers and bathrooms are clean and you do get to use the hotel amenities. Negative things are how you get to the RV park. We exited at Glendale which was where we were told to exit. The entrance to the hotel was very narrow so we had to go down to Greg, turn right, then right on Telegraph and right to the RV park: but you can't turn into the park from that direction. We went to the front of the hotel and were able to turn around and go back to the park. Had to go over numerous speed bumps. The park is not much to look at: all concrete and not much landscaping. WiFi didn't work well for me. Probably would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We really liked the campground at the Grand Sierra. The sites were huge--double a normal campground. It was very clean and security was regularly in there driving around giving you a safe feeling. We had access to the pool and work out room included which were really nice and clean. Also if you wanted to go to any of the clubs at night that was also included. We received a complimentary rate from the casino players club which was very much appreciated, the rate was $0. Our spot was very large and long with plants and small trees on either side. The park is close to the back of the hotel with easy access to the facility. One note: Beware of the high water pressure, it is 100+ psi. Even with our water reducing value or regulator attached we still came home to a flooded motorhome. We blew two regulators the first day so we ended up just using our own water. Same thing happened to another motorhome while we were there, so beware of the water pressure problem. We will probably stay here again since the price is right. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Your opinion of this park will depend on the space you are assigned. Many are narrow and are asphalt with gravel (rather large lave rock gravel) or out and out dirt. No trees, shrubs or green. The remainder of the spots are asphalt and have ample room for both large rigs, toads and slides. We camped at space #464. It's an "end" and is adjacent to a nicely landscaped area, with shrubs, small trees and decorative rocks bordering the site. Small store with supplies and limited food. Major shopping within 2.5 miles. Of course, this is Nevada and the adjoining hotel has a large casino ready to let you spend your money with them. Must declare your pet and pay $5.00 per pet per day. Dog run is dirt. If you are charged a pet surplus, that money should be used to enhance pet areas. No cable! That was a surprise! It's not out of order, they just don't have cable. The park's internet is very expensive, about $5.00/hour or $16/day. Bring your own cell phone wi-fi card. Excellent connections for both your cell phone and wi-fi card. We would stay here again. We have stayed here before when it was a KOA. I was a little disappointed with the site we were given this time (201). Although it is just a large parking lot with full hook-ups, the portion up front by the office is large enough to park you vehicle next to your 40 foot motorhome. They supply lounge chairs, trees although small and some grassy areas. At the site we were given you hardly had room for a 40 footer, barely any room for your towed, no chairs, no trees, no grass just gravel. It's a awful lot of money to pay for these few amenities. This is an excellent campground for a few nights. Big pull throughs and easy on and off access to the highway. Situated in the back of one of the nicest casinos in Reno. The Park is located right off of the parking lot for the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, so it is very similar to a parking lot itself except for the addition of some small grassy areas/trees in between some of the sites and two lawn chairs next to each site. Quick access to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, etc. due to proximity to Resort. There is not much space for young children to run around in, but our kids just ran through the large halls in the Resort. The restrooms were very clean and well-kept, and the showers were roomy. Our poor rating is largely due to the extremely bad attitude we got from the check in clerk. Even though we had reservations but were given a site way back in the back lot in the dirt, the site was so narrow our door literally hit the next RV's sewer connection. When we complained we were told the 100+ open sites up front were all booked. I asked if we could have reserved a certain site number and were told no, first come first served which made no sense to me, I was standing there, had reservations, couldn't have reserved a certain site but the open sites were all reserved ?? Rating is not for amenities we stayed here as a stop over. We pulled in after hours in our 42' motorhome. Two more 42 footers pulled in as we were setting up. All 3 of us just spent the night. This park was a great find. The sites were very large (big enough to park a truck next to an RV) and it was a short walk to the Grand Sierra Resort Hotel and Casino. Amenities include a driving range into a small lake, 3 different go-kart tracks, miniature golf, movie theater, a mini-mall and numerous nice restaurants. The park also runs along side the Truckee river with a paved walkway along the river. This campground also has a fenced in dog run that is split into two sides allowing more than one family to enter the run at once. We will DEFINITELY be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We almost didn’t stop here—but I’m certainly glad we did. Many of the on-lines reviews we had read were negative, but we took a chance because the park was close to where we wanted to be. What a delightful surprise it was! Located beside a resort and casino, the park is very clean. The sites are wide, and the pull-throughs are angled, which provides a sense of privacy. There are rock beds, native plants, and small trees separating the sites. There are full hookups at every site. We chose a back-in for our travel trailer, with an excellent view next to the Truckee River, and a long, paved walking/bike path that extends for miles along the river. The rest rooms and showers are spotless and cleaned several times a day. The personnel, especially Sheryl, were friendly and helpful. There is 24-hour mobile roving security throughout the park. The rates are low (the military rate is lower than the AAA rate). The park is surprisingly quiet, given the proximity of the airport. There are two fenced doggy areas, and plenty of places to walk. There is even a free shuttle service to and from the casino and restaurants. For golfers, there’s an “aqua golf” driving range next to the park. Unfortunately Wi-Fi is not available throughout the park, and when you can access it, it’s expensive. This used to be a KOA park, but when they pulled out, they took almost everything that wasn’t tied down, including the propane facilities and the picnic tables. Considering everything, the bottom line is, if you want a great place to stay in Reno, this is it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Since KOA moved away, this park has closed its terrific little store, reduced security and personnel, removed cable TV etc, but raised rates. The park was well maintained and there were plenty of staff on hand to help with any issues or concerns. I felt the $53 per night rate very high for weekday rates and the $51 rate per night for weekend very high. We stayed there for seven nights for a convention. The rates were not high due to supply & demand as many campsites were empty, especially during mid week - they were at probably 40% capacity. I would not stay there again due to the high rates. What a rip off! We stayed at this park because my sister was in the hotel. When I checked the rates on line, I was quoted $37 after a KOA card discount. I did not book ahead as there were sites available at all rates. At check in, the site cost was $47 with the KOA card for a FHU pull-thru. The clerk told me it was because it was "season". Before leaving the office, I confirmed that there was free wi-fi, and the clerk said no problem, just use your browser. Our site #225 was nearly the farthest from the office, and there was no wi-fi! The next day, when I went in to the office to turn in our keycards (for the bath house and pool), I mentioned that I could not get on line. The person at the desk said, "I know, there is no wi-fi sender out there." Seems like 'someone' who checked me in was too lazy to figure that one out. The casino is pretty far away, and you get no coupons or special deals for staying on the property. The campground itself is clean and airport noise isn't too bad. I rate this low because of the poor customer service. I will not stay here again! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a large campground located next to the Hilton Hotel and Casino. It shares the Hilton pool and other facilities. It is a clean, and very well maintained campground. The only downside is its location near the Reno airport. There is a good amount of airport traffic noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is clean and neatly landscaped but all sites are black top. Cable has some good channels and others that are real snowy. Train & interstate highway noise are audible but not a serious problem. Many sites are held by permanent units. The location is close to downtown and easy to get to. It is a good campground for an over night stay or to use as a base camp because it is a short distance from the interstate. Restrooms were locked and entrance was by a key available in office. There is a motel, but it seems to be used by workers and may not be open to public. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Listed as pet friendly, but one is obligated to walk your pet on the street outside of the park and there is no pet area in the park and they are not allowed on any of the grassy areas. Internet service is very unreliable and when you can connect, it is of a speed reminiscent of the the old dial up days. It is a short drive/long walk to the hotels/casinos, and convenient to Reno's Riverwalk especially beautiful downtown area. The bathrooms/laundry facilities were not particularly clean, and you had to leave a refundable deposit for a key to lock the ladies room from the inside to secure the facility from unwanted access while you were using it. Office and laundry close at 6 p.m. Hard to get and answer on the phone. No info for emergency, sewer lines backed-up. We were parked in a drive thru parking lot. Wi-Fi password was wrong and no one was around to help. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Sites extremely short with sewer hookup on wrong side of rig. Vehicles from rig in next site park by your door, we had a hard time exiting our trailer. Water sprinklers came on with no warning both during the night and daytime. We had water come in our windows causing damage. Management just shrugged and didn't seem to care. There are better parks in the area. We camped here in a camper.

This is not a campground in the normal sense. It is really a paved parking lot with just enough room to back in the rig and park your tow next to it. Barely enough room to extend your slides without encroaching on your neighbor's site (marked by a painted white line). Now the positive: The entire site is walled and gated for security. The best thing about this "park" is that it's located just across the street from the Peppermill Casino which was perfect for us because this is a major spot for the Hot August Nights crowd which included us. This event also accounts for the high daily price of $89. After the event was over, Sunday, the price was only about $33. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is not much more than a glorified parking lot. Black top with painted lines between sites. Inches between your slides and your neighbors tow vehicle. Hot. No shade. Advantage: We were attending Hot August Nights Car Cruise In. The city is crowded, driving difficult, no place to park. We were a captive audience and this RV park is right across from the Peppermill where a lot of the activities were taking place. Walking distance. No parking issues. Great restaurants at the Peppermill. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is right on Virginia street across from the Peppermill Resort. It is basically a parking lot with full hookups. The entire site is asphalt but the site is secured which is a bonus. For us it was great because we had stopped in Reno for a couple of days of casino life so it was great. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is about the best rv park Reno has to offer. We have stayed there twice. Both times we had an end space which did offer shade. However, I cannot say this is a pet friendly park. They have a very small dog pen (not a run) and the other place to walk your dog is in the storage area. There are signed posted everywhere saying dogs are not allowed on the grass so that leaves the blacktop area. If you do not get an end spot, you are parked on blacktop, much like a parking lot. The end spaces do have a picnic table but it's for the use of anyone in the park. For the most part, the staff are somewhat friendly, but not really helpful. We had to leave earlier and there was no help with a refund or credit for future visits. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A parking lot in a not-so-great neighborhood. I wouldn't venture out of the gated campground. The bathrooms reek of cigarette smoke, and there are no shelves for personal items or privacy for changing at the showers. Very reasonable rate, but I would not stay here again. Very clean and nice staff. It is an inner city park so it is a bit noisy on Sat night, but was surprisingly quiet on weeknights. The only grass is in the dog walking area, but I came here to enjoy Reno, not camp in large grassy lots. We camped here in a Motorhome.

EEE I don't know, this place is ok just ok. We came to the rib cook off. One local park wanted an arm and a leg, and another local park wanted two arms and a leg. I figure all they needed was a KOA in front of their name. So here we are for two days. We will make it, but probably won't be back unless we have to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed there for one month, and the sites were so close you could almost touch the other guest. There is one man who lives there and each time someone comes in he runs out and thinks he needs to help you park. He even comes out at night in his pajamas after 9Pm. There is also a row of houses behind the park that looks like gang members live there, the music is loud and when the cops show up it gets very quiet. I wouldn't recommend this park to anybody,you would be better off staying in the casino parking lot across the street. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Brought a group of people to the Peppermill in 2 coaches. Stayed here and found it clean and orderly. I didn't expect a "destination" park so I was not disappointed. Location is very convenient to the Peppermill. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We live locally and had friends in town. They enjoy going to the casinos, we don't, so we parked our rig at this location for the weekend. They ended up calling in the evening to come stay at the house. Loud residents/vagrants roaming around, sirens -noise. Next time I will leave the rig docked in my back yard! This is a well kept parking lot. If you are looking for a place to park your RV and gamble at the Peppermill, this is the park for you. It had very little appeal for us. There was little shade, no tables or grass between sites. The cops were there settling a domestic dispute just after we checked in . The Wi-Fi only worked from the laundry room next to the office. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at this RV park for three night. Found all sights to be clean and well kept. This park is small, but close to the PepperMill and Alantis Casino's. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. They also have a nice laundry room. The park is gated,with 24 hour camera surveillance. They have a pet area. Found the price to be fair, 35 to 45 dollars a night, but as any RV park, prices changes with seasons or events. They have 30 and 50 amp service. The on-site manger was very nice and helpful. This is our first time here but we will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is OK and is probably doing the best it can with the space it has to work with. It was very clean and quiet. There is a slope to many of the sites and a need for leveling. The check in lady was very nice and went beyond our expectations. The interior streets are narrow but doable with even big rigs. Caution, and someone to spot for you when turning into your site would be called for if driving a big rig. The negatives are some residents think rules only apply to other people and park out side of their sites markings. With the narrow streets it can be very tight. The staff does not seem to monitor this at all. The office closes at 5 PM and lots of folks do not stop that early in the day. We camped here in a Motorhome.

From Australia on our first RVing trip. The general park environment was very tidy. No litter was seen at all. Many long-term residents, but all sites looked well-maintained. Very quiet. It on the edge of town. Other than a small convenience store there is nothing in walking distance, but there are buses to central Reno every 60 minutes. Some traffic noise in the evening. No funny smells. Sites are smooth tarmac, as were the internal roads. Most sites are double width, with a small garden bed containing small trees or shrubs between sites. Easy access and pull-through. Some of the adjacent shrubs and small trees rub on the RV, but no large branches. Our site was level. There are a few scattered small areas of clean, vigorously green lawn with picnic tables. The toilet facilities need a code to access them. These are the cleanest, most spacious, and generally most pleasant to use public facilities I have seen in years. Fantastically clean and warm pool. No common area or recreation room. Small gym that closes at 5pm. Good AT&T reception. Laundry open 24 hour - $1 wash, $1 dry. Staff: Very friendly and good humored. Willing to come and have a look at some problems I was having with my RV. I would not hesitate to come back the next time I am in Reno. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff was really nice. Our biggest complaint is we have 2 small dogs. The dog run was all gravel, to me it looked like a over sized litter box and especially smelled like it! There were 3 areas that had grass, but dogs were not allowed on grass and there is a $25.00 ticket fee if your dog is caught on the grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Interior roads are in terrible condition. Pull through sites are not long--we had to unhook even though we paid for a pull through--narrow roads and short sites will not accommodate many combinations. Utilities are adequate--cable costs extra. The staff was concerned and helpful-the owner is putting band aids on a park that requires major surgery! Vets will tell you that tiny exercise areas breed disease and this park supports that--small, dirty, smelly, pet area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, easy access to downtown Reno. At entrance to park, the pavement has a rise, with a low-clearance RV, the entrance needs to be taken slow to not drag. Most sites have 2 trees and shrubs between sites. The sites do not seem any closer together than other RV parks. The corners can be tight, but my 55' of truck and trailer did fine, just watch the mirrors. I could stay hooked-up, so my site was at least 55'. All hook-ups are in the middle of the site. There are signs of family, but I haven't seen any children playing. All the long-term residents have clean sites. Laundry is 24 hours. The park is between Highway 395 and Reno's main street, but the hills block much of the traffic noise. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is OK, but has very tight interior roads almost to tight for big rigs. Very hot for summer camping and about ten dollars to high for this type of park. If weather permitting i would boon dock in a casino parking lot and skip this place. They also charge for everything, cable, 50amp, dog, you name it. The price reflects 30 amp, no cable and no dog. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Level black-topped spaces with good Wi-Fi and cable ($). Staff was very friendly, but every patch of grass was posted with "No Pets on Grass" and one said "$25 fine". Since almost everything is covered with black-top, and with the sun's boiling heat, my small dogs hated walking across the park to the one, smelly pet area. Pet friendly only to the point that they allow pets. The park was clean and neat and the price was just a little high. I would stay her again if I didn't like my dogs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wheelchair access in newer showers/bath couldn't be better. Clean,neat, organized, lovely hosts. exercise room, hairdressers on grounds (probably by appointment) small pool w/chairs & some shade, $1 washers/dryers. only neg. is $2/day for 50amp & $2/day for lousy TV channels, tax. I was a little baffled by the higher rating for this park. It is a paint striped parking lot with a few cut out for bushes. Out of the 121 sites in the park about 90 were filled. Out of those I counted 7 that were not permanent or long term residents. Some are very old and worn. I stayed in late June, but because most of the park is all asphalt walking a dog during the mid afternoon is impossible. The dog yard itself is very small. The pool looked to be in decent shape but a little small. There is no visually pleasing parts of the park, and our site had a view of the storage area for old RV's. The staff was friendly if you don't ask too many questions. We stayed here to attend the Rodeo in Reno and for that it worked alright. A decent overnight stop, but not much more. I stayed 3 days. If I were in the area I would look around for a park with a little more character. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is pavement and rock with a few shade trees and I would imagine it would be hot in July and August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We choose this park because of its proximity to our daughter’s home. Getting into the park will be easier when the construction on Parr Blvd. is completed. Check in was quick and efficient. The clerk directed us to our site by way of the easiest turns. I expected tighter turns because of previous reviews. Our coach is 42’ with 30” slides on both sides. I had to position the coach on the site in a way that limited parking of my towed. As other reviews say the park is paved with trees and other landscaping bushes. The park is quiet and well maintained. There are a lot of longtime residents but they keep their sites tidy and uncluttered. No washing or service is allowed on site. I did ask about our grandchildren using the pool. It was alright with one of us present. We stayed three nights. Rates were higher than other posters because of three in our party, (I hate it when they charge extra for a third adult but not for children), the Reno Balloon Festival and taxes. Because of the location I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We traveled with a group of four RVs and had made our reservations in February. We arrived at 5:45 pm to find the office closed. The sign on the door stated that they would be open until 6 pm. The paper work was waiting for us, but none of us had been given the shower or Wi-Fi codes. Even with early reservations, we did not have the four spaces together. The park is all paved with narrow lanes and sites. A novice may have a difficult time. We barely fit in our site. They did have a very nice dog walk. We would definitely not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Paved, well maintained, clean, and good location. This is a good and safe place to stay. Washrooms/showers are in great shape. W-IFI pretty good; water, cable, etc. no problems. We don't have a bad word to say about this place or the staff. But it is basic parking RVing, with some decent facilities, not a "park" setting. We would stay here again if visiting Reno. We stayed here for 4 nights and this is a very nice RV Park. It's in a good part of town that feels very safe and secure. Some prior posts have complained about the paved lots: that's a bonus for me since we have stayed at dusty gravel parks on our trip. There is a bit of grass and a few trees. The restrooms and laundry are in great shape. One note about the bathrooms, there is a huge handicapped shower and this park would be ideal for someone in a wheelchair. The pool is small but not opened right now. I wish they had a petwalk in the front of the park, it's in the far back. Overall I would totally recommend this place. There is an awesome city park nearby which has the biggest dog park I have ever seen. If you have a social dog don't miss Rancho San Rafael city park just down VA street. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is just a big blacktopped parking lot. There are a lot of full time residents in trailers. The pet area is tiny. The trees at the sites are mostly evergreens and don't provide any shade. I thought I reserved a site with cable tv and 50 amp service but when I arrived I was told I could have one or the other (there were no 50 amp sites available with cable tv). It was so hot, I wished I had opted for the 50 amp service so I could have run both air conditioners. I won't come back here again. For that matter, I probably won't visit Reno again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV park was very clean, bathrooms and showers were great. We camped in a pull through site with a 30amp service. The pull through site was about 6 inches short if we left our tow car on. We have a 35' RV. The lady at the registration desk was very friendly and helpful. We will surely camp again there if the opportunity presents itself. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites in this campground are very close together. It is very hard to get both the RV and vehicle, into the site. They advertise cable TV, but not all sites have cable and they failed to inform me of this when my site was assigned. After unhitching my RV and hooking up the sewer, electric and water I discovered my site didn't have cable. They did find a back-in site with cable connections that I could move to, however to add insult to injury they charged me $2.00/night extra for the cable. The wifi and cable signal were good. I wouldn't stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has a great feel to it. A previous poster stated that it is nothing more than a big parking lot, which made me realize that that phrase is used way too often in the reviews I have been reading. I would say this park is way more than just a parking lot. Yes, the entire park is paved/blacktopped, but there are plenty of trees and grass islands to give it a nice appearance. The sites are double-wide, meaning you have a ton of room curbside to set up tables, chairs, awning, park vehicles, etc. I was able to use the Wi-Fi with no problems at all, it was very fast. I did not see any motorhomes or trailers in the park that were in bad shape. I have stayed in this park multiple times and do not even think about staying anywhere else whenever I am in Reno. I especially like that the park is a 2-minute walk to the Bonanza Casino (site of the Cactus Creek Steakhouse, a MUST for steak lovers). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Shamrock was one of the nicest parks that we've visited. It had exceptionally clean grounds and restrooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and close proximity to center of town, yet pretty mountain view setting. Also, it was 5 minute walk to one casino. We would highly recommend it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very clean park, but not much space between sites. They don't like truck campers but will grudgingly allow one if you promise not to unload it (they're afraid it will tip over). Park management is not very friendly either, at least the grumpy old woman I dealt with wasn't. The place is okay for a night or two, plus it's centrally-located so that's nice as well. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

We are renting monthly here. The staff works hard on the property and the park shows it. Very quiet yet still convenient to the highway. Minutes from downtown Reno. True there is not a large pet area, but there is an off leash dog park 2 minutes down the road. Bathrooms are clean, park is clean, the staff is very helpful. We weren't sure if we would stay here until we actually got here and also looked around at the other parks in town. We will stay here for 3 months. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice clean park for a brief stay. It's located in a warehousing district and is basically a paved parking lot. Sites are small with no grass or tables. There are a few small shaded common areas on grass with a single picnic table. The pool is small but clean and pleasant. The bathrooms were new and very clean. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Really nice clean park, large sites but mostly pavement, very little grass and what there is you are not allowed to walk your dog on. They did have a small enclosed pet area, but because it was very small and kind of like kitty litter inside it was quite odorous. My dog would not go anywhere near it. Easy access from freeways and only a 5 minute drive from downtown area. Would recommend park to most, but will probably not stay again myself because of my dog. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is in a quiet area north of downtown Reno, easy access to Hwy 395. Very popular with monthly site renters, but all sites were kept clean & tidy. Most sites are pull throughs, double width, all paved and looked level (ours was level). Restrooms/showers were very large and spotless. Small trees and shrubs between sites, not large enough for shade but offered some visual privacy. Modem hookup in laundry room worked fine. We camped here for 3 nights, would come back again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
