New owners this spring who are making great improvements. Told us goal is to have 50 amp in every site by next year. Owners on site and very active all day. We used this as base for touring of the area. Good view of the ocean from the front window. Lobster season opens in a few days and fresh lobster available dockside which is a couple of blocks away. Would return to this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Quiet campground across the street from Northumberland Bay. You can walk down a small incline to the beach near the lighthouse. But continue on to the end of the road, park, and follow the path to the right for the beautiful, endless beach. There's not much else to do unless you hop into the car for a bit of a drive. There is a seafood processing plant down the street where you can get fresh crab in season, and across the road from them is Captain Dan's plant for lobster in season. A pleasant, relaxing stay where you make your own entertainment. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A simple campground, near the sea with only a very quiet dead end street in between. Walking distance to a beach. Spots are simple, and the campground looks like a big field but even in high season (we camped here in July) it was quiet. It is difficult when you drive a big fifth wheel to found out what your spot is! If you want a quiet place you found it but don't think it is fancy. Wi-Fi is perfect. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stopped here one night because they had Wi-Fi included in price of site. The area was neat and clean. Families use this a lot in summer. We had a back-in water and electric site with lots of shade from very tall trees. Very pleasant. Only reason an 8 instead of higher is cost. Would recommend this as a good one night stop on way to somewhere else. We had 30 amp but not real strong. Only 1 pull through site. Some manoeuvrings needed but big rig friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
