Although rustic (clean facilities however) this is a good campground to get away from it all. It has access to the Swift River and moose have been seen within the campground. We found all utilities to be functional. We camped in site 62 which was surrounded by trees, but had cable TV. Tree trimming was needed. The only disturbance was early morning weapons discharge from a nearby gun club. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground in very "rustic". When we first arrived I wasn't too sure about it as it seemed a bit run down and in need of some TLC. However, it turned out to be very good. The staff are great and helpful. The sites are big but too shady for my liking. If the temperatures had been in the high 90s it would have been great to be in the woods but I found it very dark and gloomy. I did not use the restrooms or showers but they also looked very "rustic". It is situated in a good location for touring the White Mountains which are gorgeous. I don't think I would stay again at this campground although they did cut us a very good deal. We stayed over the two weekends before and after the 4th July and they honoued our Passport America for 8 nights out of the 12 we stayed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Like other reviewers have stated, this campground is a bit rustic. However, we found the owners friendly and accommodating. If you have kids, they have a small beach next to a creek that is perfect cooling off. We found our site clean, recently raked, and ready for our arrival. We will stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
