The woman on duty said "cash only" for our 3 night stay, which surprised me. But we ponied up the cash. Finding this place is something of a challenge since it's partially down a dirt road and no signs to lead you to it. Our site was near the regulars because we wanted a SW exposure for our satellite antenna, so we were spared the overnight area, but trees still blocked us, so no TV. Also the sites are very close together and the trailers there look as if they haven't moved in years. Site was level but very sandy and without a rug we were dragging it through the trailer. Bathrooms were clean but rustic. The bottom of the doors on the lady's room stalls were very high and consequently not very private. Showers very well used but clean. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
One of our favorite campgrounds. Approximate 12 miles from Long Beach Island. Nice, friendly, quiet campground (with no scheduled activities). It is located in the Pine Barrens. WARNING: The entrance road is very rough. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
