What a great place to spend Halloween, in a ghost town! 4 pull thru, level sites with full hookups, nicely shaded in a very quiet, peaceful setting. The owners are very pleasant and more than willing to share the towns history. On site museum, free but donations asked, that is amazing. Artist coop next door is a great place. All local artists and very reasonably priced. The map show campground at start of town but it is 1/2 mile further behind the museum. Definitely will be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have visited this ghost town and always wanted to camp in their campground. It consists of 5 very nice FHU sites:4 pull thru and one backin, 5 dry camp sites and one beautiful restored and upgraded historic cabin. There is a high quality restored general store/museum and a gift shop/gallery of VERY local artists. It is about 1 hour from I-25 and well worth the drive but this really is a semi ghost town so caution is advised on length. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
