Just wanted to clarify that there is no web site for this location and that I am aware of. The web address http://www.ziarvillas.com/ takes you to a Zia campground located in Hobbs and not Moriarty. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I don't know if people are confusing this park with the one in Hobbs or not. This is a rundown park in poor repair. We would not stay here again. If you just want to save money, it is cheap. We could not connect to the wireless if it exists. As best we can tell this is a self service park. Leave your money in the box. We never spoke to a staff member when calling in and never saw a staff memeber on site. We felt we were being generous with a 3. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've camped here before and we really like this park. It seems like a cute place, but unfortunately, it seems to be getting more and more run down everytime we stop. The animals were gone this time. The utilities worked great and the sites are level. We have a 45 foot motorhome and things were a little tight, but not bad. We will stay here again when we're in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great value for the money. Site was level and utilities were top-notch. Friendly staff. Humorous twist on campground rules was entertaining, but still clearly conveyed the message. We camped here in a Motorhome.
My husband and I camped here in October 2006. We had been on the road for 2 weeks and had camped in many RV parks. This one was clean, safe and entertaining. There is a petting zoo with a variety of animals. The view is nice, especially at night with the stars shining and the big open sky. We loved it and hope to stop there again on our next trip. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I really liked this campground. It's out in the country and the skies at night were full of stars. Mountains in the distance; very quiet. Not fancy, but clean and safe. Nice folks in the office, and homemade muffins and other snacks to purchase. We were able to maneuver into our spot just fine in our 40 ft motorhome pulling our toad. All in all, a very acceptable place to spend the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
So So park off I-40. Hard to contact for reservations. Some site water and electric only, (dump site) $5.00 more for sewer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
