We stayed at Oh Kay RV Park 9/24 - 9/27/07. We chose Oh Kay based on the recommendation of some members on RV.NET. It is not listed in the TL directory. We were looking for a place between Santa Fe and Taos to use as a base while we visited the area. We first felt something might be wrong when the clerk at the registration desk wrote a phone number on the receipt. She said it was the number of the police dispatcher in case we had any problems during our stay there. Then one of the long-term park residents came up to us while we were setting up and told us to make sure we parked our truck to make access to the gas tank difficult. "They like to take gas around here." This gave us a very uneasy feeling during our entire stay. The park itself is badly in need of maintenance. Some of the sites are so full of holes and ruts they are unusable. There apparently once was a playground but it is totally overgrown with weeds. There are some permanent residents and some of their units are complete eyesores. One in the next row from us has large sheets of rusted metal laying against the sides as wheel covers. Sites are supposed to be pull-through but they are only about 30 feet deep. Our TT is 29.5 ft. long and it filled the site. The only place to park the tow vehicle is next to the TT so we can't open the awning. We can't report on the bath house because they must keep it locked and require a $5 deposit for the key. We used our own facilities. To sum up, if it becomes a choice between Oh Kay and a WalMart parking lot, go for the WalMart!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
