Unlike the other reviews we loved this place. Yes it is up the mountain and it is crooked and steep but it is up a mountain and the road goes to the ski resort and dead ends so it is not on a major highway. The view is amazing lots of pines there where deer and elk that in the evening would cross through the campground in the evening. We have 2 kids and the highway is not that close they could get out and play ride their bikes. The park ranger was very helpful. The store is not opened because instead of 7 people he needs the state sent 2 for summer help. Like he said most people would rather have clean restrooms then a store. When you leave and need to use the dump station just let a worker or ranger know when you are leaving and somebody will meet you to unlock the gates. You have to drive through Santa Fe to get to it, side streets and all. We will go back it was great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

As others have noted, the campground with electrical hook-ups is located on a sloping road right off of the highway and there are no pull-throughs. There are a few small aspen trees and some shrubs between sites, but otherwise little privacy. The restroom was very clean, but there was no water and no sign to tell you where to get water! Eventually we located a ranger who told us they'd had problems with people vandalizing the pumps, so the only one working was up a hill at the ranger's maintenance station. The ranger seemed very lackadaisical... The visitors' center was closed when we were there. Proximity to Santa Fe is a plus -- but only if you have a small enough camper or a fifth wheel because the Santa Fe streets are narrow and crooked! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Delightful, even though the air was a bit thin. We stayed in a primitive site, as all the electric sites were filled, and it turned out to the best choice! The electric hook ups are sort of alongside the road, which probably isn't noisy as the traffic is rather light, but our site was the best, higher up the hillside from the road, nestled under trees. This might not work for everyone, but we ran our generator when needed, and enjoyed the birdsong the rest of the time. Ranger Mark was a big help, giving us clear directions to the park, and doing everything he could to help us get loaded with water and settled in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The only way I can describe this RV campground we stayed in is.... Being stranded on the side of the highway with electricity..... When we arrived we were told that they didn't have any water over the weekend because there was such heavy use. Guess the tank had to refill. This is just too close to the highway. I would NOT bring children to this area. All of the campgrounds in the park are right off of the highway, don't know what they were thinking!! I would pass on this State Park. We left 3 days early and would never go back. There is a campground just before you get into the state park (Santa Fe Nat. Forest) called Black Canyon. This is off of the highway and it looks like they just remodeled the campsites and restrooms. No electric, but there is water located along the interior road. We're 35 ft.(& towing) and there were a few sites that we would have been able to fit into. They also have tent site pads. They are on the reservation system but do have first come sites. At least this would be better then camping on the road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We found this park in a brochure for Santa Fe which stated "RV's welcome". We tried to call ahead for info but got the park ranger voicemail. They never returned our calls. We went anyway, unfortunately. They only had a dozen or so RV sites right alongside the road, all back in, on a grade, with a ditch alongside the road, and since we have a 39' 5th wheel it was nearly impossible. But being that this park is about 8 miles up a mountain from downtown Santa Fe, with steep grades, switchbacks and hairpin turns, it was too late to turn back for the night, so we managed, not without stress! No water, only electric, no amenities, and a very busy road this time of year due to a ski area further up the mountain. It was a beautiful drive and gorgeous scenery, but don't try it with a big rig. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Plusses are very clean, facilities in very good condition. Minuses are very few and poor quality spaces for motorhomes over 30 feet, very limited number of electric only hookups (less than 10). Biggest problem is camping area is bisected by road to Santa Fe Ski Valley and traffic noise very intrusive. Best for pop ups, truck campers and very small trailers or fifth wheels. Best camping sites by far in the more primitive side of the park east of roadway. A couple sites there that can handle a 30 foot MH but no reservations. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is adequate; however, we thought it was a bit pricey. If we were staying in Santa Fe again we would try the Park just beyond this one on the left - Trailer Ranch RV Park. Although we were right next to the Wi-Fi connection the Wi-Fi did not work. Also they sell propane here. We filled up and had good service; however it was 70 cents a gallon more expensive than other places. 50 Amp electric plug-in is in center of pad and we did not notice that until we had leveled and our electric cord almost didn't reach. Some sites looked like they could be very muddy if it rained. Sites are narrow; but, we found them to be adequate. A plus that it is close to downtown Santa Fe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was nothing more than a gravel parking lot. All campsites were close together. The area was questionable with regards to security because we heard police sirens all night and day. The bathrooms were not well-maintained. The staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi didn't work. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Decent overnight park. Clean pool and friendly staff. Pull thrus are long, but pretty narrow. Utilities (electricity!) work well. Besides the pool, there isn't much to do here or any scenery to enjoy. Would definitely stay here for an overnight stay in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We paid the Good Sam discounted rate. This campground is well within the outskirts of the city. It has friendly staff and generous-sized pull-through sites which are level and well-graveled. A computer is available in the office for camper use without charge, as is free coffee. We would gladly return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Easy to miss, we turned in one driveway too late and drove in the exit. Located behind a small strip mall. Very quiet. Standard parking lot style groupings are nice with picnic tables and concrete slabs. Wireless internet is available but weak signals are the norm in the rear of park and when you get a strong signal, it is very slow; almost non useable. Everyone I talked to had the same problems. Don't count on the WiFi here, it is pitiful. Restrooms OK, nothing special. Owners boogie out at 5 PM on the dot and you are then on your own. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I was at this park on the monthly rate ($550). As usual Wi-Fi is rarely high speed but Verizon has 3G coverage there so you can get broadband with a Verizon USB or card. While I was there they discovered a gas leak and they had to trench the park to install new gas lines. While this was inconvenient, it was beyond their control and the staff was more fantastic in keeping us informed and making the repairs. Before the Gas was turned off, I used the Showers and laundry room (In the shower room ... a little odd) but I can tell you that they were squeaky clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is basically a parking lot behind a plaza on a main city thoroughfare. It is fairly quiet however. The low mark is based on the general appearance of the park, wireless internet unreliability, and the poor arrangement of hookups. On some sites the 50A box is on the curbside of the trailer, and on many sites the sewer port is quite high off the ground resulting a full hose after dumping. There is no host or overnight security person and you have to call a number for after hours help. A plus is easy access to city transportation, and major store proximity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The water main broke while at the RV park. The management was VERY indifferent, and would not offer any kind of price break. We were unable to use restrooms, take showers, wash clothes, etc... The location is very hard to find. it is in a bad neighborhood and we did not see any other travelers, just long term residents who had run down trailers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is on a bus route. We met a couple who was using the bus, and they were very pleased with the service. The showers were very small, and I didn't see any handicapped stalls. I would definitely stay there again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came here because the park is on the bus line and convenient to the great stores and such on Cerrillos Rd., plus it has the cheapest weekly rate in the area. There is free wifi and cable, and the park is quieter than you would expect for its location. Too bad it's something of a dump. The bathhouse "cleaning" achieves little, and that's also the home of 2 washers and dryers, right in the restrooms- very unusual. Interesting mix of beat up old trailers and motorhomes along the perimeter, and large fancy rigs in the pull-thru sites, which cost more. Large area for dogs in the back, and a small playground. Families around, full-time residents. Next time we'll look at the other parks first. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Even though it is in the city it is nicely insulated from traffic noise. Near shopping centers. Sites are 35 feet wide with picnic tables on concrete pads. A fire grill is included on each site as is trash pickup. Trash could be picked up more often however. Small playground equipment. Paved access roads with gravel sites. The sewer hookup on the pull through sites was at the roadside, making it difficult to stretch the hose to the outlet without the back end of the unit being a bit in the road. The staff is very friendly. The campground is a bit difficult to find with an access road back from the highway, not clearly marked. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had several problems with this park. The first was because they had no sign on the street. We passed the park and had to find a place to turn around. The park is on a very busy street behind a small shopping center and very hard to find with no sign. Next, the tree on our site needed to be trimmed. I told the manager about it and she told me this was the wrong time of the year to trim trees. We worked 30 minutes trying to get backed in and not hit the air conditioner, vent cover and slide. Also had to try to get as close as possible to the sewer, it was at the very back of the site. The park goes down hill from the street and most sites are not level from side to side. After the park gets your money, they don't care how inconvenienced you are. Streets are paved and there are a lot of speed bumps. Sites are gravel/dirt. Maintenance is minimual. The wifi was free, sometimes it worked okay, other times it was very slow. Location is the best thing this park has going for it. Santa Fe really does need a good RV park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very convenient to the center of Santa Fe. Recommend asking for site in the upper half, either center pull thrus or back-ins to the right. WIFI may work there, it doesn't at the lower end of the park. Also a number of really awful raggedy perm. trailers down in the lower left corner. Friday night was party night for them. A bike was stolen that nite as well. Not ours as they were locked. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the sites in the 90's, even the one recommended above. There is an open road out the back of the park allowing access to anyone. Overall a clean park and improvement/maintenance was in progress while there. I would use it to be close in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in August of 2003. We were repeat customers from 2001, and although the other review here from 2001 isn't from us, we would have rated it about the same. What a difference a couple of years makes! Almost all of the full time residents who were all over the park in 2001 (many of who were somewhat scary) are no longer there. The pool is now clean, and the overall place seems much cleaner and well kept. There's a trash can on each site which is very convenient. There's even a DSL connection in the office for fast email downloads. I think this is the most conveniently located RV park in Santa Fe, and fortunately now it's now very pleasant to stay in. We'll be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very old park with mostly fulltimers who are still working. Diesel trucks leave the park at 5am. Kids that live in the park speed. Dogs run lose. Sites are extremely hard to pull into. Very overpriced. Advertised as a resort which is a laugh. No gravel-all dirt We camped here in a camper.

Nice campground. Easy access in a 30' motorhome to any of the pull through sites. You will have to level the coach, though. Any longer than 30' and you will want to verify with campground staff that you'll fit in the wooded pull through sites - some will only fit a 30', and some will take longer rigs. They also have non-wooded sites that any big rig will fit in just fine. Lots of amenities, and of course it's right next to Santa Fe so there's no shortage of things to do and see during your stay. Be sure to buy your firewood from the park office - they sell piñon wood and the smell is fantastic. Bring your own tinder and lighter, though, because for some reason they don't sell fire accessories. The park has its own little nature trail, and the Sandia, Sangre de Cristo, and Jemez mountain ranges are close by for hiking at-altitude. Staff was very friendly, the dumpsite was clean, and dogs are welcomed here. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

They have many advertising billboards indicating they have cable TV, but after we had already paid for a water and electric site, we found out that cable was only available if you paid for a full hook up site. It would have been nice if we had been told that up front. Sites are a little small and close together. We felt the rates were a little pricey, but we were just outside Santa Fe which is a pretty pricey place in general!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

On the positive side this RV park is in close proximity to Santa Fe. However, the reservation and check in process left a lot to be desired. When making the reservation on the phone the employee kept interrupting me throughout the process. At that time we had requested and received a particular shaded, pull through site because we were traveling with 2 dogs and were staying for a week. Upon arrival the site had been changed to an undesirable area. They had reassigned us to an area with tent groups which had no trees, was crowded and was also a back in site. We got the owner of the campground involved and were able to get our original shaded site. This employee was still contradictory of what had transpired even in front of the owner. We live in a nearby town so we like to come to Santa Fe to explore and have stayed at this campground several times. Having encountered this attitude we will no longer give this campground our business. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here before, but in an smaller RV. This time we had a pull through site for a 35 foot RV. The sites are so narrow that with the slides out there was barely room for a chair. The trees do not provide shade. The pool was too cold to swim, although it was quite warm. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. I even asked about a certain plant they had, and they went out of their way to find out what it was for me. It's a shame, but next visit to Santa Fe, I think I will stay down the street where the sites are much larger. We camped here in a Motorhome.

There are very cramped camp sites with no room to even walk around your trailer. We have a 35' trailer and was not able to fit in the first site they put us in. After several tries we were able to find a site that would fit us barely. We tried to get a refund since we didn't fit in a site and they were very unwilling to do so. The staff was friendly but could care less about the people & problems. I was not impressed by the campground at all. We will not be staying there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Had reservations for water/electric site, could not get level - looked for another, nothing available that was anything resembling level. Had to upgrade to full hook up site at a substantial price increase to get level. Also they advertise cable TV in Trailer Life guide and on their road side sign - this is only available at full hook up sites. Road noise is an issue. I actually would stay here again because we scouted the other Santa Fe campgrounds and they all left much to be desired! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had business in Santa Fe that required a two month stay. There are not a lot of options in Santa Fe. We choose this campground, although it is 8 miles out of town, because it was a little higher elevation and surrounded by pinion pines. Our other option was an RV park on a very busy street right in town. We have a dog and the other RV park in town has very limited options for walking a dog. Rancheros de Santa Fe has a 1 mile, nicely maintained, walking trail that loops the campground. They are very dog friendly. Our dog was welcomed in their store/office every day for a dog treat. The campground sites could use a little TLC. It is pretty much dirt and some gravel. We had to put down lots of mats to keep the campsite clean. The campground was relatively quiet. There are services, including a nice market about 3 miles away. There are also a couple spectacular restaurants nearby (Bobcat Bite and Harry's roadhouse). Additionally, the staff were great about accommodating mail delivery and UPS packages. This is huge for those that travel full time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were here 2 nights, and wished we had more time. We prefer the "state park" environment in RV Parks. 1-mile long perimeter trail through lush juniper and pine, very well-groomed and little elevation change. They are offering discounts for almost any card or club. Would stay here again (and hope we do!). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you're in a small or medium sized rig and don't mind dirt roads, dirt sites and road noise this campground is okay but significantly over priced. It is located in the pinon forest and the dirt road to the camp sites is very tight maneuvering. We're in a 45ft diesel pusher with a dingy and more than one of the turns required more than one attempt to make it. The camp spaces designated for big rigs are too short to keep the dingy attached and no space to park it once off. They are so close together there is barely room for the picnic table and do not have trees. The campground is on Old Las Vegas Hwy and the "big rig" spaces are within 50yds of this busy road. Other sites back in the trees may be quieter. Free WiFi. Small fenced "dog run" area with shade tree in it. Nice little children's playground. The people that work here are very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First of all, be aware that Santa Fe is at 7200 feet above sea level. This park is located approximately 7 miles from town and therefore a quiet spot to stay. It was an easy drive to get into town however. Even though we parked here mid-April, we arrived to snow on the ground. This melted, but the day we left, it was snowing again. The whole park is a red dirt/gravel mix which tracked into the motorhome on a regular basis! Cable TV and WiFi were excellent. The WiFi signal was one of the strongest we've encountered from our site #92. The laundry facility was tight, but clean. Washers were $2.00 which we thought was expensive, but the dryers were $1.00 for 45 minutes. We paid for 6 nights which cost us $171.58 and reflected a Good Sam discount. After checking some of the other campgrounds in the area, this one was one of the best and reasonably priced in comparison. On the whole, we found Santa Fe to be an expensive area, but if traveling this way again, we would stay in this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice experience outside of Santa Fe, price is fair for the area if you get a basic site. They have several choices so you can just do w & e back-in or the full FHU pull- thru. This is a great park to stay in if you're looking for a New Mexico 'experience'. Everything down to the signs feels authentic, and the sites were nicely shaded by what looked like small Juniper trees. Both the bathrooms and laundry were clean, and there were plenty of amenities. The staff were friendly, and offered us plenty of tips on where to shop and eat whilst in Santa Fe. It is a few miles from downtown, but very quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well I must agree that Rancheros has a campground atmosphere and is not a typical big rig paved parking lot. Most sites are shaded and separated from your neighbors by small trees. There is a nice walking trail and the place is always clean and quiet. If you ask for help, the staff will direct you to the most level position on your site. Be sure of what you're getting into before you give up your credit card number! In 4 years of motorhome travel, we have never left a campground before the time we had paid for--but tried to leave this one. Unfortunately, the policy (not explained on the telephone when I reserved 2 hours before arrival) is to give no refunds past 11 am the day PRIOR to the reservation. No flexibility, even though we were placed on a 30 amp, unlevel site when I had requested 50 amp. I will say they offered another site, but we couldn't get the motorhome in it due to trees and a telephone limiting turn radius. Once we got back on the 30 amp site, we discovered how impossible it was to level. Yet a third site was offered, but by that time we didn't want to keep jockeying the motorhome around. The manager was courteous but displayed no sympathy to our distress. This campground should be great for tent camping under the stars! And the work campers were extraordinarily pleasant and kind. Very run down old KOA. The roads were very tight for our rig and we do not even have a toad. The first site they put us in was impossible to get level. We complained and they moved us to a better one. But there were obvious long term / permanents residents all over. We had to back out of our pull through because of their stuff all over. Despite the webpage, wi-fi is not available throughout the camping area. In order to receive usable wi-fi, you must sit at the building across from the office. The staff is not overly friendly, and, at times, rude. Over the telephone, one staff member twice gave me a lecture on not keeping my dog in a cabin unattended before she even confirmed whether there was a cabin available for me. When you enter the office, the staff does not necessarily greet you in a friendly manner. While the cabins and restrooms are relatively clean, they are not overly clean. I actually cleaned my cabin before placing my belongings inside. This campground charges for a cup of coffee, something I am used to getting for free at all other campgrounds. When I was there, the pool was not usable. As is evident, my stay there was a little bit of a disappointment. We camped here in a Campground Cabin.

We've stayed here 3 times in the last 3 years. We have a 36 ft MH and have never had a problem getting into our site. We love the trees, and the noise is minimal. It's also convenient to the historic downtown area and the staff is friendly and helpful. And our favorite part is the amazing number of stars you can see at night. This campground would be ok for small units and tents. We have a 37' 5th wheel and a long bed tow truck and since this was an overnight stop only we asked for a pull through at $5 extra. Since no one escorted you to your site I had to get out twice to ensure we were going to clear the trees on the narrow roads and the sharp turns. The rig next to us was parked several feet too far forward so we and several others had to back out of the pull through. Will not stay there again. Bath house is older but clean. No movies when we were there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

My rating reflects use by a couple with a 40 ft diesel Motorhome. We asked for a site suitable for a 40ft Motorhome and were assigned to a "pull through" with 50amp power/water /sewer. The road to this site was narrow and included a sharp 180 turn that required a three point turn. Luckily I had unhooked the Jeep, but the next couple did not unhook and had fight to unhook on the turn. Also I would not call it a pull through for a large rig. I saw one fifth manage to pull through, but they had nobody in the site next to them. Everybody else, including myself, had to back out. There just isn't enough room to make it a pull though. On the plus side the WIFI was very good. Signal showed weak, but it maintained a good connection at all times. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are easy to please and over many days this was the only CG in AZ/NM we were not pleased with. First, the good is that there are some nice views and the staff initially nice. Pleasant smell with small juniper trees throughout. Unfortunately, very uneven sites and on this I wish we had heeded some previous reviews. The "pool" is very small and the "movie" theatre is just a small TV set up in front of a few chairs. Staff nice at first but not responsive about poor restroom condition. We moved on after one night to the KOA up the road and found it much more satisfactory in every way (including price!). We camped here in a Tent.

This is one of our favorite parks. This was our second visit to the park. Large rigs should request a pull through or back in in the fron of the park. The staff was very friendly and knew the area well. Our site was well shaded and private with great views of the sunset just off the back of our trailer. We enjoyed this campground because it does not have a "parking lot" feel. We have camped in town on Cerrillos Road before, but we preferred the quiet, wooded setting here, and found that the distance to Old Town Santa Fe was about the same. Also closer to fishing on the Pecos River and Pecos National Monument. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Free Wi-fi reception was good at our site, but heavily wooded sites towards rear might not get as strong a signal. Site was level and 50 amp service adequate. Hiking trail(about 1 mile long) on property a plus. Grocery store and shopping mall 2 miles away. Several good restaurants within a few miles of campground. The campground is located on a service road that is set back about 1/4 from I-25, so highway noise was not a problem for us. This is one of the more scenic parks we have camped in and will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Wish we had paid more attention to previous reviewer here who warned that more scenic, water & electric only sites beyond the front of the park were narrow and a bit hard to get to. Many, many of the non-full hook-up sites are ridiculously unlevel as well as fairly close to neighbors. Not sure why they would assign someone to the space right next to us when the park had dozens and dozens of open sites. Inexperienced office staff gave us directions to pull into our site from the wrong direction and we took some scratches on the low trees; we could not get close to level and requested a new site but still had to block three wheels. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well-kept. Liked the view from our site and the smell of the pine trees; loved the free WI-FI and the location just outside of Santa Fe. Really wanted to like this place more but next time I would try the KOA just up the street. Similar scenic views, and trees but much better spaced, more level sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here 4 times now over the past 2 years,
it just keeps getting better. The staff is always very helpful and friendly, the facilities are clean and well maintained. The owners seem to be updating and redoing the grounds and sites as needed to accomadate bigger rigs and units. There are many wonderful sites among the Pinion Pines and most of the park is well shaded. The park is pet friendly and even has a Doggie Corral play area. During summer months they show a movie each night for the guests (free)and on Sunday mornings they offer a pancake breakfast that is both outstanding and very reasonable. Despite another posting about the area, there are several excellent restaraunts, shops, a grocery store and 2 gas stations that are all very close to the park. All in all this is 1 nice RV Park, that we enjoy returning to. We camped here in a Motorhome.

rig, as few sites can accomodate them. Swimming pool is small, and sites are really too close together. Bathrooms/showers not as clean as most I've been to, but not really dirty. WiFi was owner-installed without a real knowledge of site-wide wifi coverage, and this results in poor or no signal at the edges of the park; if wifi is important, try to get a site near the office. They have a small theater in which they show movies to all that wish to attend. Scenic park, but expensive: charges for children unjustified. Overall, this is a nice campground. Staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean. The sites are close together and the roads are narrow so unless you want to park right up front, big rigs might have trouble getting into the more scenic spots. Tenters note - this is one of the few CGs in Santa Fe that allows tents so if you want to be near the city, this is the place. There are also several good looking cabins available, although management doesn't allow pets in the cabins. Don't look for any restaurants or service stations nearby because there aren't any within ten miles.Ads say there is no city noise but there is definitely road noise because this campground runs parallel to I-25. New Mexico has been going through a severe drought the last several years and when I camped here there was a lot of restoration of trees and vegetation going on. All in all, this is a good overnite or base camp if you're going to be spending a lot of time in Santa Fe. We camped here in a Tent.

When we go to Sante Fe, this is where we stay. Conveniently located, clean and nice people. The sites are a little close; however, we are usually gone during the day. The pinion trees smell wonderful. Movies and pancake breakfast at a good price really makes the stay enjoyable.On our last stay, a camper in a cabin pulled out his guitar and sang us to sleep! This campground is 15 miles north of Santa Fe, adjacent to Rte 285. It is essentially one big parking lot with 4 or 5 rows of sites. There are no trees and for us it was a one night stop. We only stayed here because Santa Fe RV parks jack up their prices for the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. One park quoted us $290/week! We see no reason for this and probably won't return to Santa Fe because of this. This park in ugly. It's just a gravel parking lot. It has no restrooms. It is next to the highway and very noisy. The park is across the highway from the casino. It is about 1/4 mi. south of the overpass of Hwy 502. It is next to the Phillips 66 station. We got a $22.50 rate for Good Sam. A less expensive alternative to the established, private RV parks in the area. This park, recently completed by a local Native American tribe (in conjunction with an infusion of cash for the upgrading and expanding of their casino), is a crushed rock/railroad tie parking area, opposite the Cities of Gold casino, about 10 miles North of the Santa Fe Plaza. No trees, shrubs, cement, grass, but it is right next door to a Phillips 66 Station (which they also own). You don't have to gamble if you stay, but, I'm sure it would be a more pleasant experience, as it is quite barren. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here with 3 other Care-A-Vanners with Habitat for Humanity for a build in Santa Fe. The sites at the Rodeo grounds are very basic. We were parked backing up to the bleachers. It was fine but if you are looking for something nice this is not it. If you are looking for value this is good. In Santa Fe this location is a good value. $15 per night is hard to find anywhere else. You may need an extra 15 feet of water hose and two sewer hoses depending on where your site it. I would camp here again. It is more secure than a Wall-Mart parking lot and has a locking gate which are a plus. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park road is an all dirt base. When it rains, expect red mud in your coach/camper. This KOA has the most expensive laundry--$3 per wash and half the machines are out of order! Limited CATV and Wi-Fi. The park is very clean and neat. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They have a "movie theater" that consists of chairs set up in a metal building with a large screen projector and a nice game room. One set of showers (in the movie theater/game room building) was old and musty, but clean. The scenery was not really visible from where we stayed. The park is what we call a typical KOA-trailers were very close together with no privacy from the neighbors-all neat & tidy and stacked like dominoes. All in all, we would stay here again for one night only. It is a nice place to park for just one night, but I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended period crammed right next to a big rig. A beautiful park. Lots of privacy between campsites due to native pines and cedars. Tight turns required but no problem for our 34' towing Jeep. Park is on a hill but sites all seemed very level. People were great. The access road (Old Las Vegas HWY) is a bit long in the tooth but once you enter the park, you're in a beautiful place with tons of ambiance and everything you'll need for a great stay. We travel with kids and they had a blast between game room, biking park and playground. A great stay would do it again and stay longer if possible. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When I think of a typical KOA this park comes to mind. Staff was friendly & helpful. Park is built into natural setting without altering it. Park is very dusty. Park roads are narrow & turns tight for a big rig as we rubbed vegetation. Roads & sites are dirt. Sites are narrow, but some are long enough to accommodate big rig & tow vehicle. Our slide was a foot from neighbor's table. Utilities are modern & well placed. This campground needs to make some capital improvements. I would suggest graveling roads & sites and adding concrete patios. We observed nothing to make us believe they are adding a pool. We felt park was very overpriced as it is 12 miles from tourist area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Their sites are all dirt/gravel but then again so is every other park here in Santa Fe. The trees provide very nice privacy between the sites and the weather here is incredible. You are aways out from the shopping in the heart of Santa Fe, but the drive is pretty and not difficult at all. They are liberal with their maps and are happy to give you any directions you might need. We decided to stay an extra night here and the office staff was very accommodating to our request even though they had to move another person. We promise to be back! This park is very nice. However, all sites are dirt. It could be a problem with dust when the wind comes up and probably could get a little muddy when the snow melts or they have some rain. However, being here in April with cold mornings, we didn't have a problem. The sites have a picnic table and either a grill on a post or a campfire ring. The sites are separated by either a small fence or small trees. We did have to put a block under the wheel to level our rig. It is quiet and I like the "country feel". The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were escorted to our site because it did make a difference in how you pulled in. They also let us use their phone when our cells wouldn't work. The laundry room was clean and the machines worked. Their store was pretty well stocked. The cable reception was excellent as was the Wi-Fi connection (which was free). The campground is on a frontage road and is about 10 miles from Santa Fe. The staff was very helpful in telling us how to get to Santa Fe and where to park. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

An excellent clean campground that is easily accessible off the frontage highway to I-25. Very little road noise. Quiet and clean. Staff was very helpful. Even though we arrived just at closing, they cooked a pizza for us and delivered it to our 5th wheel. The only weakness to the campground was no gravel in the campsites but rather a dirt base. This weakness was made up for by the campgrounds' proximity to Santa Fe and the numerous cedars/pinions in the campground. Wi-Fi was free! We stayed two nights and will definitely return. This is an excellent KOA. We have camped here on five different trips and will come back anytime we are in Santa Fe. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The showers and bathroom are immaculate and have plenty of hot water. People sometimes complain about the dust, but hey, this is the Southwest and dust comes with the territory! I would much rather have dust than have to camp on a paved surface in an RV park that looks like a parking lot. We also greatly appreciate that this KOA doesn't light up the campground like a prison at night. You can actually see the stars! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground, nice, helpful people too. The campground is well maintained and close to various sights. Hummingbirds flying around the shop/office and you can even have a seat in front of the shop where background music is playing. This is a good park and is well maintained. The sites are gravel & dirt and things can get a little dusty with traffic moving around the campground or in the wind. Some of the sites are a little tight - our 27ft travel trailer fit our site well, but the fellow next to us had problems positioning his camper so that his slide-outs would fit. Be sure that the office knows your needs. As with most commercial campgrounds, we wish the sites had more room between them; our next door neighbors on each side were friendly, but we didn't want to get to know them THAT well. The utilities on the sites are in good shape, but the wi-fi was a little spotty even though we were pretty close to the office; good enough for e-mail and some light internet use. The owners/managers are friendly and eager to provide information about places to go and things to see in the area. This campground has easy access from I-25 and is about 9 miles east of Santa Fe. A very enjoyable experience with pleasant and helpful staff, very clean facilities and good wi-fi coverage. The only reason I rated it 9 instead of 10 is that there is no cell phone coverage for Verizon customers. Other cell phone providers appear to be usable. This campground occasionally has other services available. For example, some nights you can order pizza and have it delivered to your site. Also, one night there was a band playing on the patio area. We stayed here for six nights and found it to be very good for a stay of that length. Convenient to both I-25 and Santa Fe, friendly people, and clean. Wifi signal was very strong in our site, D-1. I think the transmitter was in the game room next door. The Wifi went down twice during our stay, but they restarted it right away when I told them. We were so happy with this park that we extended our stay, and plan to return here on the way home. The office staff (all family members) are as varied in their efficiency as any family. The "Grandma" in charge is a sharp, witty, and informative lady (she prefers Grandma to Mrs. Brown). Our dog was happy to walk the trail around the park with us, and the sites and roads (gravel) are wide and big rig friendly. Some sites have patios (extra charge), and the water pressure is less than one might expect, but this is Santa Fe, and water is at a premium. The location of this park (Route 599 + I25) is perfect for getting around and in Santa Fe. You can by-pass and go north to Taos and the casinos, or go in any direction on a limited access road. There is a condo/home development being constructed adjacent to this property, which should provide additional traffic, but I don't think it will alter the fantastic views (it is downhill). We camped here in a Motorhome.

This KOA was very conveniently located to Santa Fe and area attractions. The showers and rest rooms were very clean, the playground was great for the kids. All the sites were at least partially shaded, some of the pull throughs were a little too narrow but overall we were very happy with our stay here and would stay again. A pool would have been nice (says our daughter), there was a little traffic noise and the water pressure in the showers was a little low. Compared with other KOA's we have stayed at this one was very good but not quite a "10". We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

We moved here after finding a campground (a mile or 2 down the same road unacceptable and had a terrific stay here. Staff incredibly helpful. The Santa Fe KOA is easy to find on the frontage road adjacent to I-25. There is little traffic noise. On the expensive side for an overnight. Set in natural landscape, each site has a picnic table, grass, trees, and several have flower boxes set in the ground. Some have barbeque grills. Each site had electrical, water, modem and dump available. Sites were a little tight for a class A - long enough but barely wide enough between the trees. That said, the entire campground had many trees except for the pull through sites. Smaller campsites were tucked in between the trees. The staff is smiling, friendly and helpful without exception. If you get there before 8pm, fresh baked pizza is available delivered to your site. Good pizza, too. The park is immaculate. There is a pet walk with a 3-foot fence, where you may let your dog off leash. Ours is too big to let off leash in that space, but the area is kept very clean and odor free. Rottweilers, Dobermans and Pit Bulls not allowed here. This was our first RV camping stop and it was an outstanding experience. Future campgrounds have a lot to live up to! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites are a bit close together and separated by small strips of native vegetation. The small areas of vegetation are not green grass and if you need to have nice green grass you probably need to find someplace besides Santa Fe. There are no large expanses of grass in Santa Fe anywhere, except in some of the cemeteries. Some, but not all, of the sites have small concrete or brick patios with tables. All roads and sites are of gravel and the sites are close to level. Traffic flow is well laid out with numerous pull through sites. There is a nice small store in the campground and they sell propane. I had good WiFi at my site. Dump station is easy to get to. Park is on a rise south of Santa Fe with good views of the mountains and Santa Fe. There are often strong winds and it is not a good idea to leave your awnings open when you are gone. Office staff is friendly. Got good off the air DTV signals. Park nice and quiet at night. DO NOT try and take large RVs or trailers into the downtown area. We would stay here again. We stayed here three years ago and had one of the best sites, with a cement patio, overlooking grassy, rolling hills. This visit we weren't quite so lucky as the campground was nearly full, although we managed to squeeze our 32' fifth wheel into the back in site allocated to us, with small patio and picnic table - in the Yucca section of the campground. Most sites are pretty level. The office has a well stocked store with supplies and information about attractions in the area. We like this campground due to the open spaces surrounding it, which is great for dog walking, but beware of the cactus which my dogs always seem to be attracted to, and I spend a good ten minutes pulling the "thorns" out of their paws and muzzle! There is an official gravel dog walk around the outside of the campground about 3/4 mile in length. Wi-fi was weak from our site. We would stay here again when visiting the Santa Fe area. We stayed at Santa Fe Skies for a month while working on a Habitat for Humanity build. The management was friendly and helpful. They allowed the Build Team to have a BBQ/Potluck on the patio and use of the kitchen and clubhouse. The facilities are quite clean and the views are spectacular. This is NO RESORT campground It is however a perfect stop in Santa Fe. One hour away from Albuquerque and 20 minutes from the local sites. The laundry area is acceptable though the most expensive I've used to date. $ 2.00 for the washing machines, the general store is okay. The sites are SMALL!!! We had a corner lot and thank goodness it just had enough room for our rig. NO concrete pad, no picnic table, no nothing well a nice view of mountains. Our aircard worked great. The park is more like a resort and exceeds all of my requirements: landscaped pad areas, 50 amp, good water pressure, excellent store and laundry area, plus helpful staff. This park was a great place to stay in the Santa Fe area. It is the first place we took our brand new TT and we had a blast. It was very cold and snow on the ground, but all the sites had been plowed when we got there. We did not use any of the facilites so I cannot comment on them. Our stay didn't start out on a good foot because the young man at the front desk was somewhat rude and inhospitable. Being the slow season we were given a choice of sites. One of the nicest restroom shower house facilities you could want. Office had any information needed for a visit to Santa Fe. Campground maybe lacked a little in upkeep of the sites, but it's in basically a desert so I'm not sure how much more they could do. Our only complaint was that we could not connect to the WiFi. When I talked to the office his comment was that it's not on his end so there wasn't anything he could do. Other than that instance the staff was friendly and helpfull. This park is located on a rise south of Santa Fe, and offers a convenient location for getting around the area. It’s a 15 minute drive to The Plaza, and access to I-25 is easy. The park has well-packed gravel sites and interior roads, and there is plenty of room for big rigs. Everything seems satellite-friendly, and all sites offer full hookups. There are a few long-term sites but most of the park was dedicated to travelers on short-term stays. It was quiet at night. Park is located on a hill overlooking Santa Fe leading to it being windy. Nice for ventilation but can lead to blowing dust. Not a lot of green areas but that can be said for all of Santa Fe. Office looks to be fairly new and has a nice small store. Park very clean We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean, well run CG. For the high desert you can not ask for too much more. Spectacular 360 degree views of all surrounding mountains. Great location at the end of route 599 which is the loop road around Santa Fe and right off I-25. If you are coming for the opera this is the location as you do not need to get involved in any of the city traffic and all those strip malls. We love this park for the wonderful views and the clubhouse has a full professional kitchen if you need it for a function it is free of charge. We will stay here again We camped here in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park was in a quiet location and about 10 minutes from old town Santa Fe. It is about a mile from I-25. It is not "wow"er of a park, but it was nice and clean. There is not a lot to do there. There is a walking trail around the park. The sites are gravel and level. They are somewhat close to each other, but had patios and picnic tables. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms and shower rooms are very clean. They had a small store, with a few RV things, snacks and odds and ends. We would stay here again. What a GREAT place, very clean and well kept. Beautiful sunrises!!!!!!! Easy in, easy out, DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS, it will make you turn on Rt 14 off of Rt 599, you need to go straight there instead. I don't think I could have found this park without GPS. Recent road work makes it hard to know how to get in and out. The entire park is not level and the sites are gravel. Hookups are adequate and basic. The office building, showers and meeting rooms are much better than the sites themselves. Convent to Santa Fe sights and the Interstate. Trees are really still shrub state, so don't expect any shade. I thought the price was just a little high for the product. Staff was very helpful. Wi-Fi was excellent. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Pull-through sites are too close together - in our area the sites were about 20' wide. Site not that level. The young man at check in assigned us a site near long-term campers - we really enjoyed being awakened two mornings at 6 AM when the fellow started his truck to go to work. Why he put us near the perimeter with the long-termers is a puzzle since there were plenty of other spots available. I haven't figured out their landscaping - they have some nice landscape beds, but the rest of the place looks unkempt in terms of grass and weeds. This RV park is OK - not great, but OK. This is a great place to stay to visit Santa Fe. It is a little way out of town on the south side but you get really fabulous views of all three surrounding mountain ranges from this location. They have nice facilities and everything is kept really clean. There is a good long walking trail for dogs around the perimeter of the place. Nice park with friendly, accommodating, and very helpful staff. Our long, level, pull-through, gravel site had a great paved patio. Fabulous view of the valley and we enjoyed watching the valley lights, beautiful sunsets, and viewed multiple fireworks shows from our rooftop on July 4. Orientation of sites was perfect for shade on entry side during afternoon/hot part of day. Nice jogging trail encircles park, half crushed rock half dirt trail ~0.75 mi/loop. Free Wi-Fi with multiple ports, usually good speed. Clean and up to date spotless bathroom with 4 tiled shower stalls, bathroom stalls, even a salon style hairdryer seat. Dog friendly, but do pick up after your pet and do watch out for the cactus off the trails. Site fenced and seemed secure and peaceful. Active work seen on landscaping, but remember this is a desert, so not lush. Good access to I-25 but no road noise. The closest intersection has no road name posted so get directions. Many big rigs here but other smaller RVs there, too. Outside of Santa Fe proper, not on bus line, you will want a toad or easy to rent a car to get to town. We had seasonal weather, 80s during day, couple Rocky Mountain windy squalls with sprinkles in the afternoons, nothing bad, put awnings in if you leave. We would definitely stay here again. Very well kept park and very friendly people who run it. Long pull-throughs suitable for the biggest rigs. Saw some 45' motorhomes with long trailers that could still get in. The sites face northwest so you get a great sunset view out the driver's side windows. The scenery is tremendous with mountains on just about all sides, and the sites are tastefully landscaped. The campground is located just off Route 14 which can be taken directly downtown to the major tourist attractions and shops, or I25 which can take you to Albuquerque in less than an hour. Strong Wi-Fi signals, landscaped sites, excellent gravel drives, and just about every amenity you could ask for including front loader washing machines in the laundromat made for a very pleasant stay. In fact, we were so pleased we extended our stay for two additional days instead of moving elsewhere. The campground is bordered by new homes, and there is a gravel dog walk and jogging trail that encircles it. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The wind and blowing dust has been a problem the first 3 days, but no longer as it has rained and now I'm having to deal with the mud my dog and I track in. The park is half empty, and we were still given a site that is all gravel and dirt, instead of one with a concrete patio. I didn't question this at check in, as I was lead to believe the park was close to being full, or would be in the next few days. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was an okay park, although a little overpriced. On the good side, the restrooms and shower were spotless. Absolutely spotless!! There is a nice clubhouse area and patio with couches, chairs, tables, free videos, etc. The park is about 1 mile off the freeway, so traffic noise is not an issue. And the sunsets over the mountains are beautiful, as are the lights of the city below. The sites themselves lack luster....lots of weeds, minimal trees, some not-so-nice seasonal (read year-round) residents, ugly gravel, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rate listed is for back in site without patio - the least expensive site they offer. We felt that this campground was overpriced for the amenities that are offered. For $33 you get a dirt parking space located along a dirt road with 50 amp/water & sewer. Thats it. The laundry facilities were also some of the priciest we have seen. The staff was very helpful and had handouts ready listing all their favorite sites & restaurants. The wind does blow here - the park brochure even cautions you not to leave your awnings out if you leave the park. There is a lot to do in the area and if we return we will probably stay here again - just wish it was priced more reasonably for what you get. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was given a 5 star rating by Woodalls and I'm guessing it is because the bathrooms and laundry were available and clean. However, the "resort" did appear a little junky and if you like dust... this is the place for you. There was severe wind every day, and since there is essentially no vegetation, the dust was everywhere; even with our door and windows closed all the time except to enter and exit. If you have allergies, this place will be murder, even our dog was sneezing while walking the 3/4 mile dirt path that surrounds the park. Nothing to do there, and we could spend no time outside other than to walk the dog as needed. The wind made it impossible to put our awnings out and we were even considering pulling our slides in due to the wind but didn't have to. No way to barbeque or eat or sit outside outside at all without being blown away. Their handout at check in warns about the severity of the winds. The old town of Santa Fe is about a 20 minute drive. Office personnel were very nice and did provide lots of tips for where to eat and how to get around. Laundry is $2 a load and $2 per load to dry. While it wasn't horrible, it wasn't nice enough to stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites are fairly level gravel which were just long enough to accommodate the coach and dinghy. Nice view of the mountains and Santa Fe at night, lots of stars to be seen as there is very little extra lighting at night. Nothing to do here except a short walking trail. Good laundry facilities, very clean. People were very nice and suggested what to see, how to get there and local restaurants. Very nice facility with great views. I was on an end site but the interior sites would be view restricted. Easy in and out and adequate room for my 65 foot triple tow rig. Very nice park with an exceptionally good location on a hill overlooking Santa Fe. Price is the weekly rate. The park is well maintained. Sites are not large but are adequate. There are no trees so our satellite TV worked well. Most need leveling. Some have nice concrete patios. A few sites, like ours, did not have room for a picnic table. The building housing the recreation room, laundry, office and restrooms is one of the nicest we have seen. Bathrooms are quite large and very clean. The laundry machines were $2.00 each and some of my laundry needed two cycles to dry. It is quite an uphill walk to the dumpsters. The WiFi was free and excellent. The park is away from the highway so highway noise was minimal. We would give this park a 10 if it had Cable TV, the laundry was less expensive and if there were convenient trash receptacles. When we drove in, I was a little worried as it looked somewhat rustic. However, I really liked this park! It is on a hill but has level sites. We had a patio site which was almost perfect. We go to this campground every summer and some winters on the way to Mexico. A privately family owned campground. They are very friendly and go way out of their way to help. We mostly like that there are not a lot of extra services, although they do have a great place for rally/groups to congregate. A great place to stay with beautiful views. 2 negatives are the laundry services are $2/load-seems high and they are not very strict about the dog rules, but on the flip side they are very pet friendly and have a wonderful dog/people path around the entire campground. But this place is small and on a hill near a residential area. So its quiet, but not really close to much. It makes a great overnight stay. The main building is just outstanding with the cleanest and largest rest rooms/showers that I have seen in 30 years of RVing. Very friendly staff....thank you. However, the sites are just not laid out well, the landscaping leaves a lot to be desired, and as to the "weed" mentioned in other reviews, I must agree. It leaves the entire park very unattractive, even with the lovely main building and entrance. Much more work needs to be done to make the rig sites more attractive and inviting. Keep at it SF Skies and it will only get better for you. Wifi was excellent where I had my rig, in front of the main building. We will return and hope they have improved the camping sites, please. At first sight, this park might not look like much, but my family has really enjoyed staying here. The views around the park are really nice - mountains in the distance in most directions and the sunset and sunrise here is beautiful. Of course every site may not have the best views, but you can walk around the park on a trail and enjoy the scenery. We stayed here two years ago and things have changed - they are building small homes/apartments around it, but they are tastefully done and look nice. The best thing to me - especially after staying at another park off the interstate - is the silence. You do not hear any traffic noise and the views at night are also gorgeous. The sites can be unlevel and there is no pavement, but it's a nice park overall. Plus, the location is good. My family has added this to our "to do again" list and we hope to continue to visit in future years as our boys grow up. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nothing fancy here, but it is clean and access is easy. For the price, they really should have cable TV. Not really out in the country anymore, they are building apartments next door and I suspect in the very near future the other side of the park will be built up too. Gas station nearby is convenient. Free wifi and pay wifi. Free wifi was weak, I needed a booster antenna in my RV and I was right next to the office. You can sit in the laundry room and get a strong signal, it's always open. This park is way over rated and expensive. we arrived the day the Balloon Fest ended however, they would not allow Good Sam discounts due to the balloon fest. They also claimed they had over runs due to bad weather. There were empty spaces all three days. WiFi did not work and office was not much help. Sites contained litter from previous campers. The campground rep on arrival day was not very cooperative or helpful. I will dry camp before going here. Good Sam should remove them from their ratings. No where in the Good Sam ad does it say no discounts will be given during balloon fests. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this campground prior to going to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta. This park was in an excellent location where it is outside the town but close to everything. Free wireless internet was available at the office area but not at the campsites. The sites were clean, fairly level and plenty of room. For groups traveling it had a nice recreation/meeting room and kitchen available. The showers and restrooms were probably the best we seen in a five week trip from Florida to the Balloon Festival. Very nice office staff, they can give you some good tips on things to do, see and where to eat. Would go back there in a heartbeat if I am in that area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I really liked this campground. It is about 10 miles or less from Santa Fe, just took a few minutes to get to old downtown area. This park is out in the country, although it looks like there is a lot of building-up going on in the nearby areas. Great views all around of mountains; great stars at night (not lots of artificial light on); very nice staff (family-owned and run); very quiet. Not particularly "fancy", not a "resort" type campground, but had everything we needed, plenty of room between sites, easy to get in and out of, and felt very safe. This park is completely overgrown with weeds and very poorly maintained. When I read the other reviews, I really didn't understand how bad the weeds were. The tumbleweeds at our site were knee-high or taller and all over. Yes, they are native to the area. Whopee. We couldn't even walk around the rig. We got in late and had to setup in the dark and that it made it worse. Trees also need trimming and made it difficult to park. In the morning, we saw the trash left over from the last campers. No picnic table. The roads are also rutted and we lost a few dishes when we came in. Unless you get a pull-through, you're in the back-in slums. The sites looked like they hadn't been maintained in years. The only saving grace is the staff is friendly, it's close to downtown and has good highway acess or our rating would be a zero. No WiFi unless you were in the staff building. Good phone signal. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We liked the location of this park, just outside of Santa Fe. It is on a ridge and provides nice views of the New Mexico mountains. It seems to cater to big rigs. The flora and fauna are typical for the region and may not be everyone's cup of tea. The park owners were working diligently on clearing weeds and planting flowers which helps the appearance. This is the first campground we have encountered that does not have any rules. They simply ask that people act like responsible adults. That's a new concept! We would stay here again. Campground was adequate. Grass was very tall and campsites unkept. Wifi was so weak it could not be used. My site had a large hole next to it which looked like a water or sewer line problem. They set a broken picnic table over it so camper could see it and not fall in. Charged me for full hookups even though only had water and electric. This park is okay for an overnight or longer but severely lacks maintenance of its landscaping. Grass/weeds are several feet tall; so tall that the original plantings are visually lost and fighting for their lives. To say this is natural NM environment is to insult mother nature; look around NM you'll not see anything like this in the open. The main building is a nice architectural rendering of NM style but like the landscaping it is lost to any functionality and has been seemingly abandoned except for check in. I'm referring here to open areas and patios on what I guess is back side. This could be a top park with some work but it isn't now. Sorry Woodall's this is NOT a 5/5. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We liked that the park was on the outskirts of Santa Fe and very near I25. It was nice and quiet at night with beautiful starry skies and sunsets. The power and water were good and we liked the natural landscaping with plants from the area. It was very clean, the sites were a little uneven but no problem. This is a great campground, with the best public restroom and showers! Sure there is no grass and large evergreen trees, but this is New Mexico and the campground is true to its natural setting. The staff was very nice and downtown Santa Fe had the only roads that were unlevel, because my site was right-on without using any blocks. The PUG also liked the grounds and appeared very pet friendly. We will stay again when visiting the Santa Fe area! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 6/5 thru the 12th. We had RV trouble so we extended our stay. The park is family run they were all nice and helpful. The location of the high desert makes the site subject to strong afternoon winds but also cooler temperatures. The wifi works great in the clubhouse and the WiFi that's available in the campsite is expensive. We would stay here again. We camped in a 34' motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a friendly camp! They say they are pet friendly, but your pet can't walk on the grass or go anywhere! Strict rules, so I guess if you like rule stay here!! We stayed for a week and it was the most uncomfortable place we have stayed! We won't be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean, maintained facility with friendly and knowledgable staff. Sites are gravel with minimal grass and no shade. The views are good. Highway access is nearby. We agree with other reviews that this park is somewhat overpriced. Most sites appeared to be occupied by temperary residents rather than long termers. Our site was somewhat unlevel, but that problem was easily resolved by moving our 5th wheel forward prior to setting up. Grass in dog walk has burrs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at the park. I have seen some improvement It would probably be the best park in the area but it is not pretty. As mentioned by another reviewer the weeds have taken over. The landscaping is non-existent. The office/club house has a bare concrete floor. The roads and pads are gravel and not very level. The entry gate is very narrow. Be careful pulling in. If the roads were paved and the landscaping upgraded it would go a long way to making this a 9 or 10 park. I was there the week before the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta - thus the park was full. I will stay here again when in the area but hope the visuals improve. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent one night at this park while passing through. The views are nice, as previous posts have mentioned. The park is gravel, with little grass, and even less shade. The sites are a bit un-level. When I leveled my fiver, the front end was too low to even think about using my kingpin brace. The local broadcast television stations were OK as far as reception goes. The folks up front were helpful and courteous. They provided us with a map of the area, and some restaurant recommendations. My wife commented that the restrooms were the cleanest she had ever seen. Beware of the wind. When we returned from an afternoon in Santa Fe the folks at the site in front of us were trying to get their awning unwrapped from around the top of their rig. The wind had made a wreck of it. However, I don't think the folks at the campground have power over the wind. (I could be wrong on this) We plan on stopping at a different park on the way back through. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I was confused reading the extremes of the previous ratings but decided to try it anyway. If you are looking for palm tree lined streets and concrete pads with grass in between, then you won't like this park. If, however, you realize that you are in the high desert and that's the landscape you'll get, you will be happy. This is a prefectly good park, if only a bit overpriced. A good place to visit the Santa Fe area and it does have good views of the surrounding valley and mountain ranges. It can be hot and dusty during the summer days, but the evenings are cool. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again and couldn't think of a reason not to use the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We also, were concerned about previous reviews of this park but decided to try it and am so happy we did and can't believe we're in the same park as past negative reviews. It's a wonderful park that is close to the interstate, but far enough away to see it in the distance and not hear it. Our site was easy to level. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Yes it's gravel, but most of the parks we stay at are too. Maneuvering around roads was no problem and we're in a 40 foot motorhome with a tow. View is wonderful, mountains all around. Landscaping is natural xeroscape that lets you blend into the natural New Mexico greenery. To landscape with grass and plants would make the park look so unnatural. We can't wait to get back here again when we can spend more time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

In reading some of the 'extreme' negative posts about this park, I can only assume they are being generated by the 'competition' in Santa Fe. I have been visiting this park since they began constuction and considering this is a build as you go project - feel they are progressing nicely. Park and facilities are clean and well maintained. Big Rigs can navigate the roads without difficulty. As far as complaints about the wind, one will need to talk to a power far higher than the park management to get anything done on that front. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The wide range of reviews were a concern to us. However, we decided to give it a shot. Here is what we found. The ownership was extremely friendly and accomodating. The owner's son stayed after hours one evening to enable me to check e-mail in their office. On our final day, my family went skiing at Santa Fe Ski area and they allowed to check out at approx. 7 PM without charging us. The location has little protection from wind and sun, but the star gazing was wonderful. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest public facilities I have ever seen. We have only been RVing since October, but this is definately one of the better parks we have have visited. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We almost didn't stay at this park because of some negative ratings previously listed. This park is very nice, has gravel sites that aren't too close to neighbors. Beautiful views, easy access to roads around Santa Fe. Water hookup heater was great in winter conditions. Friendly staff & very clean facilities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I laughed when I saw the previous comment about it having a beautiful view. The swamp is a beautiful place but I would not want to stay there. This park is the pits--unlevel sites, no landscaping, dusty, no grass, very difficult to navigate roads, very few amenities. It is a rip off in every sense of the word. On a scale of 1 to 10, this park would do well to get a minus five. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I would rather be broken down on a country road and have to spend the night with the critters than spend one night here. It is not level, it is not pretty, it is not convenient. The sites are gravel and not level. When you step out your door it's into sticker weeds. There is no shade and you can't really use your awning because of the constant wind/breeze. The roads except the main road are gravel so there is plenty of dust. The restrooms are clean but not air conditioned. The laundry is small and also not air conditioned. Teenagers work the front desk and are basically uninterested in you as a customer talking to their friends on the phone while trying to wait on you. The park is pet friendly but there is nothing for kids to do since there isn't a pool or
playground. The park in town has trees, grass, shade and a pool so we'll stay there next time. The construction on Cerrillos Rd is over so you can now access this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Reading two of the reports prompts us to add our opinion. We preface this to say
that we are a fulltime RV couple who have stayed at Santa Fe Skies three times in the last few years; we stop there every time we are near the area. For us, this rates as one of the better parks we have encountered. Why? One: It is the best RV park in the region . . . no comparison. Two: Location - though Santa Fe has vastly changed, the region is rich in history, art and culture, hiking, sightseeing, and lots more. Recommend that people get out and explore. Three: Well run and managed with friendly, helpful on-site owner family. Four: Walking trail around perimeter of park with native plants, shrubs, and grasses, this is an eco-friendly park. Five: Sweeping views all around, mountains in the distance, and Santa Fe Skies lives up to its name. 1) Yes, park does have gravel roads; we had no problem leveling. I will always opt for this natural setting above a park with side by side sites on concrete or asphalt. 2) Dust, you're in Santa Fe! Depending on the time of year, Western winds blow, dust is picked up. This park blends into its surroundings. 3) Pool, Santa Fe has faced extreme drought conditions. There have been heavy restrictions on new construction, water use, and grass sodding. You do not see showcase watered lawns in this area. Just felt that a few of the previous ratings were inaccurate and unfair . We camped here in a Motorhome.

New park with sparkling restrooms and nice large meeting area. Family are long time residents so very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant ideas. Big rig friendly with long pull thrus. A great view of the mountains and Santa Fe city lights. Instant phone hook ups make it nice for internet use. Convenient to the freeway but away from road noise and traffic. Pet friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is before any discounts and doesn't include 15% tax. Park is a little dated and sites are mixed in with a few mobile homes, but it's well-maintained and everything is functional. Almost all sites are shaded. They are rather narrow and tight when cars are parked between rigs, but are not side-by-side hookups. The showers were small and tight but clean with plenty of hot water. The park's main attraction is its easy access to downtown via inexpensive bus service with a stop right at the park's entrance. Also, there is plenty of local shopping in the immediate vicinity. We would stay here again if we wanted access to downtown Santa Fe, which is a great place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is great. The staff provides you with a wealth of info on check in. The sites are spacious and shaded. This is a 55 and over park. However, if you are pushing 55 from a ways away, you can probably get a site. A reservation is a good idea. If they ask if you are 55, say yes. The forward area of the park is for travelers. There is a separate section in the back for permanent residents. You may walk your pet throughout the park, and there is a fenced half acre in the far back of the park where your pet can run off leash. Watch out for cacti. I did not use the facilities, but I would bet that they are excellent. The city bus stops right outside the park. If you visit the Town Plaza, it’s art galleries, museums, and churches, take the bus, do not drive. Down town parking is limited and traffic is heavy. I did both. The bus is no stress, on time, and comfortable. For fellow health enthusiasts, there is a Trader Joes and a Whole Foods on the bus route. Less than two miles from the park is a community health club/gym. The daily fee is $5, seniors $3. You have never seen swimming facilities like these. If you go there from the park, from Rodeo Street turn left onto Richards and follow this horseshoe street to the center. Rodeo has no left turn into the center. There is another RV park in the immediate area. I did a drive through. It made me very happy that I stayed at Trailer Ranch. For the Park itself and for it’s access to public transportation, it is the "go to", stay at place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is very convenient place to stay in Santa Fe, but the very urban nature also creates problems. If you get one of the nicer big rig sites on the far north side, you're in good shape. Other sites are along the Cerrillos wall with very LOUD traffic noise, or in the middle pull through area, which gets all the in and out park traffic, plus some wrong side hookups. E box was on the wrong (R) side; sewer was on the L but too far away to use. Water faucet was under a metal lid, with no room to connect a filter, just the hose. Cable TV worked fine, air card, cell and Wi-Fi strong. Bathroom in good condition but only 2 washer & dryers. Owners and work-campers do a good job, very helpful. Best place to stay in town tho pricey for what's here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay in Santa Fe. This is an older RV park, but well maintained. The staff/managers lead you to your site and assist you in backing into your site if you have a back-in pad. We had the assistance of the female manager and she provided some of the best instructions I have received in 14 years of full-timing. The laundry was fairly small (2 washers and 3 dryers) for a campground of this size. The managers were friendly and helpful in providing local references and guidance to restaurants and attractions. The cable TV was clear and had an adequate number of channels. The bus to the downtown plaza picks you up and drops you off right in front of the park. The locals that ride the bus provide an interesting and colorful experience. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay in Santa Fe. It's a very quiet park since it is a 55+ community. The staff is VERY helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Only 4 miles from downtown Santa Fe with great bus service right in front of the property. (Tip 1) Take the bus for only $1 and save yourself the hassle of trying to park downtown. Lots of shopping and native art downtown and around the plaza; several very good museums also within walking distance downtown. (Tip 2) Museums are free from 5-8PM on Friday’s. This is an urban RV park that blends in very well; you hardly know that you are right in town. Spaces in the front will get some street noise, sites in the back not so much. We stayed in a back-in towards the rear of the RV park. Sites are well spaced from your neighbor with extra parking for a toad or TV. Well maintained and clean facilities throughout the park. The staff escorts you to your space and helps direct as you back in; they are good at it. WiFi work well with a good signal for our 3 days. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. This was one of the better urban parks we've encountered. We enjoyed our stay very much, in large part because of the friendly owners who work very hard to maintain their park and to accommodate their customers, many of whom are repeat customers. It's usually full so be sure and make reservations. It's a very convenient place to stay when visiting Santa Fe, with a short drive to the old town and the attractions there. There are also many stores and restaurants very near the park. There are enough trees to provide some shade and ambiance and the park is nicely landscaped. We were not bothered by traffic noise on Cerillos Road because our site was not near the road. Although we did not use it, the pool was heated and looked very clean. Some interior roads are very narrow and the pull-through spaces, although adequate for our 5th wheel, are not long enough for large motorhomes. Those are placed in larger back-in sites with a wider road for maneuvering. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this park a week and would definitely stay there again. Our site was a bit tight but we were never at the trailer anyway except to sleep. One problem was we were close to the road so there was some road noise at night, but it wasn't a bother. Since we stayed a week, we received the 7th night free. NOTICE: If everyone in your party is not 55+ years old, you CANNOT stay at this park. After we parked the RV for check in, I was immediately intercepted by a lady working in the yard. Before I could make it to the office, she informed me that this park was only for individuals over the age of 55+. I did not realize parks could discriminate on age, but apparently they can. The park description should be updated to reflect this! Luckily, the lady referred us to a nice park just down the street (Los Campos de Santa Fe RV Park). We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Second time in Santa Fe. The last time we stayed at a nice park south of town. This time we decided that was too far from Santa Fe, so we decided to come here. Great location, close to everything. Upon arrival, we were greeted like old friends and escorted to our site. Sites are small, but quite comfortable. They have sites for larger class A's , as well as 5th wheels. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel and found the park very clean, shady & convenient to sight-seeing. The problem is they are not very dog friendly because DO NOT ever let your dog near the grassy area's. I made the mistake of letting mine too close & unfortuneatly my dog went on the grass and "manager/owner" screamed at me like I was a child even though I cleaned up the mess. The pool also is a protected zone since it was never left uncovered so I never bothered to ask to use it. The women in the office were very nice but the men need to learn a little finese! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park with lots of big trees for shade. It is close to downtown and all the tourist attractions and it is right on the local bus route. Location is great for restaurants, shopping, etc. WI-FI is free and signal is strong. Cable TV is included and has plenty of channels (about 25). The lady at the check in escorts you to your sight and helps you back in. Only negatives: very few pull through sites and the roads in the park are very narrow. We were able to get our 31 foot motorhome in as long as we unhooked our toad at the office. Liked the park and the staff. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rv Repair person lives on site if you need help and office has a lot of business cards in office. Ask owners and they will recommend a good quality mobile service for different problems you may have. Very popular, neat little old RV park with great location in town. Easy walk to movies,food, stores and right on the bus line to downtown and the Plaza. Nice shade trees that also leave lots of leaves and bird poop on your roof. Workampers were very friendly and kept bathrooms clean. Too bad the laundry room only has 2 washers and dryers; a serious shortage. Good cable tv, well water, level sites on gravel. Back-ins cheaper; pull-thrus available. Try not to get parked on Cerillios Rd. side. Small "seasonal" swim pool was covered up- why do parks charge the same when pool can't be used?! Free wifi but VZ aircard works fine. Good place to stop awhile though be sure to make reservations. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We checked in here with some hesitation, having read other reviews on this website; and are writing this to refute perceptions written by others. Upon check in, we met the man who runs the campground along with his wife. He was direct and to the point, noticing that we had dogs along, indicating that they were very welcome as long as they didn't cause any problems for other campers, and went so far as to recommend to us that we turn on the air conditioner and leave the TV on if necessary to ensure that they'd be comfortable and quiet. One could be put off by that, but instead I was reassured; he realized that dogs had needs, too, and while he wanted us to enjoy the sights, he wanted all his other guests to be happy too. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stay here again. By the way, while my husband and I are close to 55, neither of us are, and it wasn't an issue. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is right on Rt. 66, behind adobe walls, and there is a lot of traffic noise at all times. The sites are generally very tight. We got lucky and were assigned a site near a small pump building, right inside the entrance. We had no one near us, and a nice patio with table under a tree. The park is well maintained, has a good laundry, and -- its big selling point -- is on the bus line to Santa Fe, which is very convenient. Several restaurants & businesses are within walking distance of the park. We stayed a week; rate reflects weekly discount. Transients are in the front part of the park; the many permanent residents live at the back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is mostly for full time residents but this is not a problem here. Permanent residents are separated from overnighters and are quiet. The large Cottonwood trees provide decent shade. The leaves were just beginning to bud during our stay. Paid staff was friendly enough, but lacked the personal touch provided by owner managers, although this is not always a bad thing. No supply or gift shop. Cable TV was about average for RV parks, ie. fuzzy, but watchable. Free WiFi service provided was above average. RV pads were concrete and very level. Not bad for an older park. Site is convenient to downtown Santa Fe, about 2 miles away. Our RV location was fairly close to busy Cerillos Street but still not noisy. We camped here in a motorhome. This park was conveniently located to go downtown and the Habitat for Humanity build site we volunteered at for 10 days. The owners were very friendly, and gave us lots of information on area sights and drives. The laundry has only 2 washers and dryers but were clean and always available when we needed them. The owners let me use the unopened (seasonal) pool area or the community room for yoga. We were parked about 1/3 the way into the park and had no traffic noise. The WiFI was good at our site also. The park is nicely kept, clean and orderly. The only thing that keeps this park from receiving a higher score is the rudeness of the owner. His wife tries very hard to compensate for his short comings, but even her friendliness does not cancel out the sting of his tongue. When we first got to this park, I would have given it a 5 at best. I was very disappointed because I read so many reviews that said how quiet it was and how wonderful it was. They must have been deaf. We got a site near the highway and the traffic noise was very annoying. When I asked to be moved, I was told that the traffic would get quieter at night (not really) and that they did not have any sites open (they did). I made my reservation in January, so I felt I should have had one of the better sites in the back. In addition, the people in the camper behind us were so close, their awning literally touched our slide. Having said all that, the staff was super nice, the place was spotless, so I had to give it a little higher than a 5. If you want a park that is right in town, this is the place for you. Second time for us to use this park. We have business in Santa Fe every other year. The park was clean. Reservations flawless and their "marriage saver" assistance helping us back the trailer in was the best ever. I wish the lady who helped us could teach my wife and others. Her instructions were clear, concise, positive and she understood RV and the geometry to backing. Being a 55+ campground it was friendly and pet friendly. Convenient to where we need to be. We will most definitely be back in two years. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park for seniors. Staff very friendly and helpful, level sites with concrete picnic table pad, excellent pool. Many sites are shaded, excellent WiFi, convenient city bus service to visit the historic down town area or to go shopping. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is a gem. Easy to find, easy to park, not crowded. Friendly family-like atmosphere, with owners on-site almost all the time. Very quiet & peaceful despite location on one of the main roads of Santa Fe. Clean, convenient in every way. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A nice park near downtown. A few RV spots in a trailer park, but nicely maintained. Most spaces are back-ins with concrete slabs. Access roads are wide and the staff assists in getting into your spot. Nice mature shade trees. Right on busy street, but a tall wall helps block the noise. Near shopping an on the city bus route. Seniors (55+) only and no tents are allowed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were invited to a "Hobo Party" within the first five minutes of registering at this park. We met a lot of fun people who stay there often. Our site was near the clubhouse where we enjoyed a nightly serenade by some musicians who live at the park. We had a tree and grass, which wasn't available at other sites in the park. The park is on a bus line, which makes it easy to get around Santa Fe if you don't have a car. Because it's on a main street, the traffic can get a little noisy, so be sure to ask for a spot in the back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My first 10. Great support from the owners, good knowledge of "what to do/see", juggling sites to allow me to add several days several times. And a small but important item - the trash dumpster seems like it is ALWAYS empty rather than CG's that seem to keep them at overflowing levels. Clearly will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you are looking for a clean well maintained place to visit Santa Fe look no farther. Easy access for large rigs with level sites. Great tv service and fast wi-fi. Very helpful and friendly people which only enhances your experience at this great 55+ park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

It was a clean and quiet campground right in Santa Fe--walking distance to restaurants and shopping and a bus stop to the Plaza right at the gate. The staff was very helpful and friendly--this was our first stop in our RV after picking it up, and they gave us a bottle of sparkling cider to celebrate. The wi-fi was excellent. The only down side for us was the rule about no dogs on the grass--the non-grass sites were too dirty for the dogs. We were there almost 2 weeks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Park is nice. Staff (owners?) were very friendly and helpful. Our site was a nice size (30' wide) and easy to get into. Had escort to site. Lots of road noise from Cerrillos Rd. that is really busy. There are large, mature trees and landscaping in the campground it nice. Nicely kept property. WiFi was good at our site (T6). I did think the rate was a bit high even with AARP discount. But, would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved the park, staff was friendly. Great location, bus comes right outside park and will take you down to sites. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Laundry facilites are limited, but only a $1.00. Nice concrete pads. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was a pleasant surprise. The managers were friendly and helped us park our trailer, which was no mean feat as the spaces are narrow. This would be our only complaint about the park. The showers and restrooms were spotless, recently renovated and blessedly well heated too! Even though the park is located on a very busy street we found it to be fairly quiet. With a bus stop right in front to take you to town, what's not to like? We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Well maintained older campground. We made reservations and we were glad we did. No vacancy sign was out our entire time (six days). Road was a little tight, but the parking assistance made that a breeze. Very accessible to all of Santa Fe. Remarkably quiet at night. Friendly folks all around! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has its charms largely because the owners have done such a nice job at preserving the 1950's ambience of the park. Old but not deteriorated. Pleasant owners. However, the sites are very small and they offer Coach Connect for WiFi which has always been a problem for us throughout Texas and New Mexico. We would visit again. Trailer Ranch is one of the neatest, cleanest RV parks we have ever stayed in. The staff is one of the most friendly we have ever encountered. They were very helpful in everything from providing recommendations to resturants, tour info, etc. It is an urban park on a very busy highway, but it is a main highway into Santa Fe from I-25. Very convinent to shopping and attractions. Wal-Mart, groceries, resturants within a few blocks. Bus Stop right in front of the park in case you dont tow or down want to drive. There are plenty of trees so shade is good, but satellite dish may not work. Cable TV is on every site though. There is also a "club house" with a library, game rooms and book exchange. It is very tight and the sites are small. They require a staffer to help you park. Wi-Fi (Coach Connect) worked great. We would absolutely stay there again! We really enjoyed it as our base for Santa Fe/Taos. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean senior 55+ park. Rear of park is for house trailers and fronr for RV units. Park is close to downtown (4 miles) and bus service in front of park. Wal-Mart and Home Depot very close by. Park has some age on it but is in good shape. Staff was nice and helpful at check in. No kids here! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We looked around Santa Fe and in our opinion this was the best RV park in the area.
Truman and Sandy were just great. They knew all the good spots around town and their knowledge of the area was very helpful to us. They make every effort to keep the campground clean and quiet. NOTE: The park is adult oriented. There is a fenced pet area in the back. This was one of the best campgrounds we have been to. It would make a fairly convenient spot to visit the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta because you would miss the traffic coming in from the north and also be able to visit Santa Fe. We look forward to staying there again. The owners made every effort to see our visit was pleasurable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A park employee was mowing grass near our coach, which caused a rock to shatter our kitchen window in our absence. Owner Sandy Johnson and I observed the scene and agreed that it was not vandalisim and that their employee must have done it during his duties, since the glass was struck from outside. Other campers witnessed the employee working around the coach and heard our dog bark from within at the time. We had the window repaired for $234. The owners refused to pay for the damage caused by the employee, insisting that our dog did the damage from the inside of the coach. The glass repair company states that the impact was from the outside of the coach and the interior screen was in pristine condition, that our dog did not do the damage. We want to recover our cost to repair and let folks know to be on the look out when at this park since the owners, Truman and Sandy Johnson appear to not have any regard for people's property or take responsibility for their employee's actions. Please beware! We camped here in a camper.

Best RV Park in Santa Fe area. We stay here every time we go to Santa Fe (many times over several years). Geared for Adults. Convenient to city bus to the Santa Fe Plaza and shopping. Good paved roads, level sites, well maintained, lots of shade trees. Modem hook-up in recreation hall; best set up I've seen. Owners, Truman and Sandy Johnson, are friendly and accomodating. We camped here in a camper.
