This review is 1 week before closing for the season. Roadway/driveway into campground was dirt/stone mixture with potholes you had to maneuver around for the first 100 ft.. CG owner escorted us to a shaded riverfront site we had reserved. Tree branches were trimmed back from road giving clearance. Once situated owner asked if we wanted wood for campfire, we ordered 2 bundles expecting the usual amount of wood. To our surprise when he returned there was 4-5 bundles worth of split loose wood. Campground was kept clean. There were just a handful of campers when we were there. Hubby had fun fishing the river from site. This campground is in an excellent location for fishing, views of the river and the mountains with fall colors right from the site. The electrical was a challenge…didn’t throw any breakers, but had to be careful when microwave or stove vent was used. Has me thinking that this wasn’t 30 amp service. The water hook up was a bit rusted where water leaked from hose. With our water tank more than half full we had plenty to survive. As I said before, this campground is in a great location for what hubby and I were looking for and the CG owners were great. We definitely will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
