The state needs to pick up on maintenance issues. I've camped here for 15 years and this is the first time I've ever had a ranger tell us the kids needed to quiet down. This was at 2pm..Ranger definitely had issues. Sites getting smaller due to DEC's natural setting ideas. Limited sites for big rigs. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The is a NYS DEC campgound in the Catskill Mountains. Not far from Hunter Mt. Nice sites with plenty of trees. There are many hiking trails in the park for all ablities, one of the easier ones has a great view of the Hudson River valley. There is lake swiming in the summer and ativities. Visited this campground in the fall of 02 so it wasn't that busy. We liked it and will be going back again. Some sites are only for tents or smaller campers, not to sure how the big rigs fit. Showers were hot (too hot) and bathrooms clean. We camped here in a camper.
