We used this park to bike around Owasco Lake. There are 10 electric only sites. Site 54 had 50 amps, the other 9 have 30 amp. Site 51 is satellite friendly, a few more may be. Sites are asphalt and level, with a lot of grassy space between sites, all with picnic tables and a fire ring. The nonelectric sites are all grass. It is well kept, a very nice state park. There are very nice hiking trails and a natural swimming pond in the summer. Great for dogs! Did not use the bath house but it is tiled and looks nice. No wifi, but good Verizon 3G service and acceptable ATT service. There is a seviceable market in Moravia one mile away for essentials. Very quiet this time of year and we would come back. Price reflects non NY resident. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here in a cabin as a base for some winery tours. The park itself is beautiful with miles of hiking trails along the creek. In the summer they dam a section and have a swimming area. The bathrooms by the cabins are a little older but were kept clean (with the exception of some bugs in the showers). There is a new shower house/bathroom in the camping area which is very nice but the water did not get as hot as it did in the older shower house. The cabin was decent with an apartment sized fridge/freezer and also a stove/oven. The cabins only have twin beds (one bunk bed and 2 separate beds). We ended up pushing the 2 beds together (not easy as they are kind of heavy). I will warn that the mattresses are HARD. We were lucky enough to have water right next to our cabin. We also brought an electric heater with us as the cabins have no heat and no fans. It was also nice that we were able to have our dogs in the cabin with us. We would definitely rent a cabin here again. We camped here in a Campground Cabin.
Only 10 sites with electric, none have their own water. Fill up before you get here. This is a pretty little park, has a stream and waterfalls for hiking. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
