The park is clean, the sites are very nice, but this park is not a kid friendly campground. The park should be an adult only campground. The kids are constantly told to get back to their sites, they are not allowed in the campstore without a parent, they get kicked off the basketball courts two hours before quiet time and the list goes on and on. We will not return to this park. We have stayed at several Jellystone parks and really enjoyed them, but this one was a real disappointement for our family. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is our seventh season of camping, and this is still the only campground we have returned to more than once. It is located right off the Northway, and is midway between Lake George and Lake Placid. The owners are on-site and are very hands-on, doing their best to ensure everyone is happy. Upon arriving, campers are escorted to their site, and a staff member will assist you as you park your camper (if needed). Firewood is delivered to your site. There is a river on the campground property, which is tame enough for kids to wade and swim and tube. The pool is clean, the store is well-stocked (maybe a tad pricey), the staff is friendly. There are activities for all ages. We camped 4th of July weekend with other family members, and 7 children ranging in age from 2 to 16, and they all had a great time. The campground was busy, but the bathrooms were reasonably clean and there are plenty of free showers in modern bath houses. Of course, the kids always love BooBoo and Yogi! Another plus was the WiFi (5.00 a day, 20.00 for a week) - we were able to use it at our site (in the "Pines" area). We were sad to leave, and will definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had a very nice time here during our July 2004 stay. This is an older but very nice campground with tons of organized children's activities. The staff was friendly and helpful and even escorts you to you site at check in. We stayed during their Christmas in July weekend and our kids loved it. The only negative was some sites were muddy during a couple rainy days. Our site was fine gravel which held up well during the rain but neighboring sites looked very muddy. Overall we had a good time and would return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
