When we first got here, the only thing I could say was "WOW, it's HUGE!" And huge it is. As previously said, beach is about a mile away (there are campsites right at the beach but not really good for big rigs) and it is a rocky beach so make sure you have water shoes to wear. The spaces are not particularly large but it was an easy pull-through for us while my son had a tight back-in spot. This is most definitely a campground for families with lots of activities to keep even the most finicky child occupied. Clean pool, shuffleboard and tennis courts, large game room with mechanical games to suit any age (even us "oldsters"). Candy bar bingo and nicely stocked store. Movies and a large playground. Many, many electric (quiet) golf carts of all shapes and sizes so you have to be on the lookout if you're walking or driving a regular vehicle. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This a large mostly seasonal campground. The lake front access was good. The sites in the wooded section were large and can accommodate big rigs, but the sites in open section are harder to get into and don't offer as much room. The pool is cold as it is not heated. The seasonals are terribly unfriendly. This campground is also very loud, especially at night, but security doesn't do anything about it. Our relatives heard a golf cart pull up to their site at night, and heard the people say "let's see if we can wake them up." I guess I'm used to the campgrounds in Myrtle Beach where everyone is friendly and respectful (including the seasonals) and everybody is very quiet by 11:00 P.M. Beach closes every time there is any waves. The office staff is extremely inexperienced, some of the worst I have ever seen. On arrival they don't even ask you if you have any of the discounts they offer. The park is doing what they can to eliminate the dumpy seasonals. Overall, this is a descent campground that offers a lot to do, but it is somewhat poorly run. Wi-Fi is now available in the courtyard only. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I can only mimic previous reports. The place is huge and mostly seasonal. I checked my odometer when leaving and it almost a mile from the beach to the office (east to west) and probably the same north to south. There is a lot of day activity (I stayed on the lake front) on the weekend, but it didn't interfere with the camping. As stated previously, the campground is mostly for the benefit of the seasonals and they are many. My only complaint and it is minor was that the water tasted like the plastic pipes that carried it. A the beach, there is a small trailer sandwich shop and another on in the central square. The central square is quite nice - a swimming pool, tennis a coffee shop, grocery store, rec hall and large courtyard with picnic tables. I will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

For us, this is another campground that is OK for an overnight or at most a couple of days if you need to do something in the area. Access roads from the interstate (I-81) are good 2 lanes, but the campground is somewhat out of the way. Roads in the campground are dirt in near poor condition. We found mostly seasonal occupancy but most units were in good condition and reasonably well kept. There are also several park models. The swimming pool is across the road at the associated motel complex as is the office for RV check-in. Utilities were adequate. Campground was quiet at night. It was raining when we were there and we noted quite a few low areas within the sites that contained standing water as did the roads. The sites are advertised as being gravel but all we could see were grass. Sites appear to be reasonably level. TV reception with off-air antenna was decent. There were no Satellite dishes in view anywhere and we did not attempt to use ours. We would probably try to find another campground in the area that might be more convenient. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice family oriented park. Rec staff were great (thanks Penny!) well organized, family friendly and facilities adequate for rainy days and sunshine alike. Beach is nice but bring water shoes as it's a bit rocky in the deeper areas. Sites are adequate but can accumulate standing water in a storm. Park staff is very nice, good patrols. Nice paved access for bike riding and excellent trails. No critter problems, fire pits are nice size as well. We really enjoyed it there and will definitely be back! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
