Camped with a group of 14. We had a great time. Electric was going off and on Friday night. We reported it in the morning and owner had the electric company come out and fix the problem that day. Big attraction in the area is the Amish and their shops. A nice map was provided. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed here before, the last time being in 2005, and they have improved somewhat by adding more sites with sewer and improving on the wi fi. They do charge $3.00 per day for each computer for wi fi and did charge $2.00 extra for a pull-thru site, which is unusual. Also the wi fi hookup is a little unusual in that you have to take your laptop in to the office and have them log on for you. This is a Passport America park and the regular rate was $38, with $19 Passport rate. The owners are very nice and we would probably stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Pope Haven was a very nice, quiet campground. We really enjoyed our stay there. We were with a group of about 40 campers and had a whole section reserved. The rest of the campground was a mix of open and wooded. It is a beautiful camp. The owner (Ranger Mike) tried his best to help out in any way possible. He drove around many times during the day to make sure everything was OK. My main negative is that the bathrooms were not very clean. Luckily I only had to visit them as we left camp. We liked this campground so much that we reserved for next Memorial Day. We will also visit again, this summer. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
