Very easy access from Thruway and I-88. Park is wooded but laid out so the roads are easily navigated. Quite a few long term residents but all well kept. Excellent park for those desiring a little peace and quiet. There is a railroad track not too far away but it did not disturb sleep. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, mature trees; well-manicured lawns and grassy areas; very park-like. Would definitely be a "10" if they had wifi (it is in the works according to the owners), cable, and a pool. Easy access from Exit 26 on New York State Thruway. Definitely the best in the area and working to get better. We were there for 7 days and will return if we are in the area again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stay here at least each year. The park is very clean, and owners are great. Cable TV is being installed, and soon all sites should have 50amp available. Mosquitoes this year are very bad, but that's all I can say bad about it. We don't care about the lack of pool or playground. Prices would only increase, and it would become noisier. We love the quiet setting watching boats & yachts go by. We will keep coming back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We love coming to Arrowhead Marina & RV Park. The park is extremely clean and the owners will bend over backwards to help you. The sites are nice and level. Nice clean bathrooms. Very quiet and they allow dogs with proper vacination verification. Close to eateries, shopping, and sight-seeing. Will go back again and again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is quite beautiful and relaxing. It is right on the Mohawk River with a fishing dock and mooring. The campground is unusual in that it is beautiful green grass but also mostly tree covered. We had no trouble with our TV Dish. The sites are flat and somewhat spacious but no bushes between sites. The campground is actually in the town of Glenville, NY and is very close to both Schenectady and Scotia. There is a train that can be heard from the campground but it wasn't loud. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well maintained park along the Mohawk River. Newly installed 50 amp electric. Boat launch and slips available but no swimming. Under new management and the place looks great. Close to the Capital District. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed this park--it is a beautiful setting and the grounds are well-kept. As full-timers who still work using internet, we would prefer wi-fi service (my Verizon air card worked well) and cable tv when there are too many trees for satellite. We also prefer to use a credit card rather than write checks. We enjoyed the waterfront space--watching the boats on the Mohawk-- and most everyone was very friendly (lots of seasonals/regulars). The showers were satisfactory, but could be cleaner. We stayed here 2 weeks. The spaces were close together, but did not feel too crowded because of the circular layout. We would stay here again. This is a real nice park. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy watching the boats in the river. The new "big rig" sites are a little tough to get in to but manageable. The park is clean and focuses on boating and fishing not kids' recreation, which suits us fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is the worst campground I have ever stayed at! Beware this place is a dump. The owner is a real snotty, They park you next to the seasonal junk they have at the campground. No fishing off the docks even though they advertise fishing!!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed for three and half months, the new owners are wonderful, park is undergoing a lot changes, we are volunteers in other states, and think this park deserves a better review, than the latest one given. Everyone including overnighters are treated as family. No trashy trailers seen during our stay, maybe a overnighter. I admit some of the sites are a bit close, but trailers have changed since this was built. Nice park to stay in, if in the Capital District area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If your looking for a lot of activity this isn't the place, but if you looking for a quiet, peaceful, clean campground with a park like setting, you will be very happy with this park. It is well maintained with some sites all grass with concrete patios and others under the pines. A wonderful place to just put your feet up and read a book or watch the boats on the river. There is fishing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. A very pleasant place. We stayed here for a week in July and 2 weeks in August of 2005 in a motorhome. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The only thing we felt this campground had going for it was its close proximity to a "Camping World" store. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Check-in at this campground took almost 2 hours. Computer system crashed, people waiting to check-in by hand and being assigned a site that my motorhome couldn't possible fit into. They were pleasant enough but didn't seem to care. Electricity was 30 amps at 100 volts at most sites, way too low for air conditioning. When I inquired at the office they blamed the electric company, yet an inspection of the electrical box showed 100 amp circuit breaker for 20 sites. This campground cannot provide electricity to the number of sites. Also requested they contact a fellow motorhomer with pets - they agreed the safety of the pets was important but never called any one with pets in the park about the electrical problem. Again, they didn't seem to care. The sites were wide with plenty of spare room but considering the utilities provided and lack of help from the office I will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an older campground that appears to be under new management. A lot of work is being done but they have a long way to go. At least half of the spots are permanent. The rest are mostly grass and mud. Very narrow roads in upper level and not big rig friendly. Most spots are not level and some guests had their wheels a foot or more off the ground. Office staff was helpful. We would not stay here again, and we heard the same from campers near us. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed from Thanksgiving to New Years. Only place opened that time of year. Hill is bad in ice and snow. Good electric. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

R.P.I. System Park so only cost $8.00 and not worth much more for an overnight stay. Way off the beaten path but quiet and pretty views. Not much to add because only stayed over night. Did walk for exercise so saw the seasonal area which was cluttered. Needs a good clean out but not in the area we stayed in. Wild Canada Geese flock on the lawns and in the pond so there is a slippery area where they leave their droppings. Would recommend for an overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is located very far from town, but the drive is beautiful. The sites they give to pull-ins are very hard to level and muddy if it rains. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There are some fishing lakes with a lot of permanent trailers set up for weekenders. There were quiet a few teenagers there when we were there. The location is good for visiting the Adirondack area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Not bad if NEEDED for an overnighter. Wouldn't want to stay for a weekend. Needs a good cleaning. Staff was pleasant but ask way too much info on registration which is kind of odd. Lots of park models. Polluted pond on the grounds which is not pleasant to see. Restrooms and showers need help. Water supply found rust and discolored after filling tank and reservoir. Stayed in a pop-up 2005. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

The electricity is very bad. We stopped there in 2002 and left because we couldn't even get 20amps and we have a big rig. We did go back for an overnighter in 2004 because we now have a Auto Former which will boost the electric. It was in September so it wasn't very hot. But, because we were only there overnight they stuck us like on the side of the road with (looked like junk) around us. From our vantaged the small ponds and hills looked pretty, but I wouldn't stay any longer then one night. If it's hot weather, forget it!! No electrity. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stay away from this park if you want to use air conditioning, microwave, etc. as we've never seen voltage so low!!! In their rules (after they take your money, of course) they even tell you to put your refrigerator on gas due to the frequent brown outs. In addition to this, there are lots of very poorly maintained seasonal sites making the park look like a used trailer lot. This is a Coast-to-Coast resort and is definitely just for weekenders to the area. We camped here in a camper.
