This is a small park co-located with a marina along the river (canal). Spaces and amenities are very basic with most of the waterfront sites occupied by long-term residents. Very active train tracks run along one side of the park, with trains frequently loud enough to make conversation impossible. It was an OK place to stay for our purposes. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice city park. Most sites are full time residents. Entrance to park is tight but paved. All the waterfront sites were occupied, but friendly neighbors had us over for the nightly boat watching on the Erie canal and sharing the days events. Nice people. There is a small marina. The harbormaster can fill you in on the area. I was told this park rarely fills up but call just in case. If you are a light sleeper you may want to pass as there are trains running late in the night. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
