My husband and I were in the Sylvan Beach area (we were camping at another campground) and saw signs for this campground and decided to drive through to check it out. Upon entering we immediately noticed that 95% of the campground was seasonals due to all the "contraptions" that were built on to these, making them all look like they had been there since the fifties! One even had a very old minivan without a license plate sitting on its site. The road was a small dirt road and the campers were all lined up in rows with no trees, bushes, etc. separating them. The campground is on a small body of water with broken docks laying all over. This was one of the worst campgrounds we have been to and I am glad we decided to check it out before staying here. If you need to stay in this area and want to stay in one of the nicest campgrounds you will ever stay in, then go to the Villages at Turning Stone. Thats where we stayed and by their reviews you'll see why! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Dirt sites-old picnic tables-many seasonal trailers- unattractive-okay for overnight-not worth the money-would look for something else next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
