This is a fenced in parking lot with electric hookups for RVs. Water is not available at your site, rather you need to fill up your fresh water tank when entering the compound. Inquire if the water is potable. A dump station, laundromat, hot showers, gas bar, and convenience store are on site. Across the road is a restaurant and Inn. Likely the only people who would make use of this place are those who don't want to take their RV when they go to Labrador for a few days, or those who are catching an 8am ferry. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground was a pleasant surprise after reading the older reviews.  Yes, it is basically a big, overpriced parking lot.  But it is clean, level, gravel, and the electrical hookup worked well.  There are no water hookups available, probably because their water for drinking is always under a boil advisory.  So bring drinking water. There is a picnic table and garbage can at each site.  The WiFi also worked pretty well at our site (except during rainy weather), which was at the far end of the park.  There is a big building with laundry, full kitchen, and bathrooms.  All are in excellent shape and immaculate.  The lady in charge is very nice and helpful.  You can reserve a site without giving a credit card number, which is a plus for travelers with spotty, expensive cell service.  The down side to that is they don't take credit cards. We used this as a base camp for the ferry to Labrador and also for a day trip to L'Anse aux Meadows.  If you have time to kill, Black Duck Cove is a nice little community with a beautiful boardwalk trail. Ask for #14.  I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

$16 for no hookups here, ($19 if you want a cord stretched from office to your rig) but was quite adequate to drop the trailer and take the ferry to Labrador. Right across the street from the ferry ticket office. The bathhouse and laundry area are modern and clean; had very helpful and pleasant staff. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
