We used this park for an overnight ferry trip to Labrador by car and left the RV in the park. The office building is very clean with three new large capacity washers and dryers in the laundry room, a meeting room, and showers. While taking a shower be aware of a pressure change and move away from the stream as it will go hot or cold depending on the new demand for water elsewhere in the building. Otherwise, the pressure was great. Water was on a "boil order" so come with as much in your tank as you'll need for your stay. There is a dump station. Sites around the perimeter chain link fence are numbered but no hookups. On one side of the office building are two 30amp plugs. On the other side the same, but the office has supplied, in addition, two long extension cords out the window for 15amp service from plugs in the building. At the rear of the building is another extension cord out the window for 15 amp service. The park is right across from the ferry terminal office, and loading for the ferry is just a block away. There is also a gas station next door with easy access for all size rigs. Staff was very pleasant. The city is trying to get funding to upgrade the number of electrical sites next year. With such easy access to the ferry we could forgive the transient water pressure, and we knew ahead of time that water may not be available. We would stay here again even if not going to Labrador. The only positive about this so called "RV Park" is the showers are new and very clean. But the water pressure is worse than in my RV!! If another person showers or the cloths washing machine is running the water pressure is even worse. As far as the 3 or 4 elect sites you may need an extension cord to reach the elect plug from where you park your rig. There are NO marked or labeled RV sites. Everything is on an unmarked gravel parking lot. But it is a place to stay if you are waiting for the ferry. If you happen to be here when a 20 to 30 rig caravan arrives you will be jammed in with them or told to leave. Since you are dry camping anyways, drive about 4 miles north on HWY 430 to an old gas station which burned down. There is a level parking area there almost as big as St. Barbe RV Park and it is free. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This "campground" is directly across the street from the ferry to Labrador. It is essentially a gravel parking lot with 3 electric only sites, plus 15 or more dry camping sites. The sign says the water is not potable. This RV park is run by the town of St. Barbe as an accommodation for travelers going to Labrador on the ferry. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and brand new. We were almost alone in the park until invaded by a big caravan first thing in the morning. The campground has good ratings in Woodall's (forget what they are) and it was a little surprising since there's nothing there. But the bathrooms and showers, and proximity to the ferry, make up for it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
