When we arrived at around 6 PM and no one was in the office. Called the number and they said our name was on the site and I could pay the next day. Had made reservations, our site had been switched. On the third day I called the number again and had to set up a time to meet someone at the office to pay for my stay. In my opinion, this is no way to run a campground. The site we had was terrible to get into and then had to raise one side almost a foot to get it level. Other than that, it was an okay park. Nice little stream and they had bingo on Saturday nite. The pool was green. This is a good sam park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Homeplace in July 2005. First of all, they gave our RESERVED sites away and in return gave us the worst sites that they had available. The previous campers had not taken their trash away and animals had scattered it all around the campsite and we had to clean it up before we could set up. They expected us to put four tents on two small sites. Although it was beyond their control, it rained the entire time that we were there, which resulted in a sea of mud because of the lack of grass and gravel. When we arrived, the bath house and showers were dirty and the same trash was there when we left three days later. We recently purchased a 29 ft. travel trailer and homeplace is definitely not on our list of places to stay, even thought it is only 30 minutes from home. We camped here in a Tent.

Homeplace is a nice campground. It has a large pool with a big slide, but it was closed when we were there. They play bingo every Friday night. The campsites are very reasonable in price. There is a pond that it dammed up so you can go fishing and then there is a nice little stream running through the campground and some sites are backed right up to the stream. Overall, a nice campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
