As noted, this was a mobile home park. Now many of the sites are available to RVs. The sites are very large. Paved roads, paved parking spots, many with concrete patios. The cleanest, best kept mobile home park I've ever seen. There were no bathhouse facilities, nor pool/playground, but that was OK with us for our stay. If visiting the Raleigh area, this is a very easy place to stay. It's on the south side of town, but you can be anywhere in the area in 30 minutes or less. Easy off and on I-40. No Wi-Fi or cable, but over the air TV was very good. We'd surely stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate based on a monthly stay ($465). Please disregard the old negative reviews here as it appears this campground has been renovated. It is a very, very lovely and pleasant place to stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and all the sites (which are all full hookups with 50 amp service) are huge. There is plenty of space between neighbors and almost every site has a newly asphalted driveway which will fit at least 2 cars. There are several permanent mobile homes here, but they are very well kept. There are lot of trees on the property (and thus shady spots). Most of the trees are either pine or pecan trees. We arrived at a time when they are almost ripe; can't wait to gather them! Office staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing of note is that this is not a resort (and it doesn't claim to be). There is no rec center, pool, public bathrooms & showers, or cable TV, but if you only need a nice, clean, safe place to stay, this is an excellent choice. It's about 20 miles to downtown Raleigh, about a 15-20 minute drive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park fit my need for an overnight stay near the Garner Camping World. The park is conveniently located for visiting the Raleigh area and I enjoyed a side trip to the NC Farmers Market. Access is a bit tricky depending on the approach direction, but there are 2 entrances so it's do-able. I did not see signage for the office so manager drove out to meet me. The park grounds were very clean and all the permanent set ups were tidy. I was in a long pull-through and did not have to unhook the tow. I did not use the water or sewer hookups - no need for the short amount of time there. The water hookup was not appealing with the fiberglas wrap and bucket used to winterize but I guess this could be overlooked if needed. There had been a lot of rain and the site drainage was adequate except around the water hookup - it was flooded. The park is close to the highway but I did not notice any traffic noise. Train tracks border the back side, but train activity was minimal as well. I had good over air TV reception picking up all the major TV channels. I felt the price a little high, but considering the location to Raleigh and the limited number of RV parks available in the area, I guess it's to be expected. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
