This park in NOT MILITARY ONLY! This is a nice little park leaving Jacksonville. WI-FI & cable were excellent. Short distance drives to area beaches. If you are visiting someone in the military this is a very nice park. The only drawback we could see were the lights in the park are so bright, it was hard to sleep at night unless you closed all your window coverings. The people who ran the park were very nice and accommodating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners and staff are the most friendliest people. They are always willing to help you. We have stayed there a couple of times and always satisfied with their service. They are always willing to work with you. I needed to print out some Business documents and they allowed me to do it and use their fax machine (free of Charge). The owner came out late to let me in my Cabin on my first visit in June 2008. I went back in July for my Birthday and he, his wife and staff remembered me. We need them to train other Owners how to run a Professional Campgrounds! We camped here in a Campground Cabin.

Spent 3 nights here for my son-in-law's USMC homecoming from Afghanistan. Staff was friendly and helpful, campground clean and well maintained. For golfers there's a fairly nice driving range and also batting cages. Easy to maneuver the motor home through the campground. Site was fairly level, had to raise the front end up only about 2". Wi-Fi worked great (password needed). No problems with any utility connections. Grocery store (Food Lion) only a couple of miles away. Overall a nice stay and I'd definitely return again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very efficient, friendly and helpful welcome at the main gate. Great campground; we were lucky that we have a good Marine friend at Camp LeJeune and he sponsored us so we could camp here. Great and very helpful staff. Full hookups, shaded picnic tables, beautiful beach, and the friendliest people we have found in almost 3 years of fulltiming. No problems with noise from military aircraft. The campground is about 15 miles from the main gate, but the trip gave us a chance to see what our Marines are doing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On board Camp LeJeune USMC base, this park is restricted to active duty and retired military and their guests/family. Reservations must be made by the eligible person and paid for within 2 weeks of the time the reservation is made. Time limit of 2 weeks during summer season. The park is level, on a barrier island between Onslow Beach and the Intercoastal. Very nice and quiet - except for the military aircraft!!! Great beach, biking and walking area. Also fishing, crabbing, and yacht watching. We loved it!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
