$40
I wanted to clarify rates: Rates are $60/day and $300/week for May to September, and $40/day/$200 for October to April. Each site has 15-20A, 30A and 50A outlets, plus water and sewer. Wireless (free) was fairly strong, and had good bandwidth in the evening (when it is frequently poor or non-existent). For example, I quickly downloaded a 2GB Norton 360 update about 10PM. The men’s rest room and showers were particularly clean and nice, and there were plenty of toilets and showers The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. I stayed here three nights and will stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Well maintained grounds and sites, very friendly staff, good-size RV sites, minimal to no shade. Very quiet. Small playground for children. Has a location for launching kayak or canoe onto the sound and a pier for fishing. Bathhouse very clean and showers are excellent. Although the campground itself is not bike friendly (gravel road and no bike lane nearby), there are plenty of bike trails closer toward the main part of town. Campground is on an island on the sound side of the Outer Banks. Daily rate based on the weekly rate of $200/week. Laundry - washer-$1.50; dryer - $1.00. Would definitely stay here again. Much to see and do; recommend staying a week to take advantage of the weekly rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
