Still a very nice park with very friendly owners. Sites are small but can accommodate larger RVs. The best things about this park are the friendly people, owners, and the great beach, just over the dunes. This is our second time at this park and will be back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a very nice and small park. The campers are packed on one another but the ocean access makes it worth while. Some longer camper rigs hang out into the CG road but do not pose any problems. The owners are as nice as they come. When we had to cut our stay short they offered a refund of the unused time. I would not accept the entire amount as it was not their fault we had to leave. The park is composed of half seasonal people and half travelers. There is not much here for children as the playground is a backyard swing set that looks like it does not get used much. There was a pool table and a small campground store with basic items. If you looking for 100% beach and not a lot of people this is the place to go because the beach is uncrowded and there is not much going on in the surrounding area. If you're looking for a campground on the beach then this is the place for you. We had a spot very close to the dunes with direct ocean access. We could hear the waves crashing while sitting inside our camper. If you're looking for a roomy campground with lots of amenities then you should look elsewhere. This isn't the typical campground that we look for because the sites are very close together and people are on top of each other, but the beach access make it worthwhile. The couple that runs the place is very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Exactly what we wanted when we were looking for a family oriented campground. We also do not like the commercial aspect at the beach, so this fit us perfect. Our stay was during the week and we were just about the only people camping. It was wonderful. Direct access to the beach and we were able to camp close enough that we could hear the waves crashing at night. The restrooms are clean and there is a swingset and gameroom for the kids. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While this campground is by no means fancy, it is a family friendly, fun place to enjoy the beach. You are no more than 100 yards from the beach with access at all times for swimming, surf fishing, or beachcombing. The facility is old but the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are into fancy parks with lots of amenities, this place ain't for you, but if you like a nice, quiet place to camp on the beach, you will find it here! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
