Very disappointing. The campground is not what the website shows. There are no horses, the pool is not up and running, and the park hasn't been kept up in years. The owner did not explain that these things were no longer here, still took a deposit on the site, and when we arrived told us there are no refunds. She also leaves the office locked at all times and is hard to communicate with. We were extremely disappointed with the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived on a Friday early April for 5 days. We were advised that the dirt road into the campground was a little rough: huge understatement. The road is terrible: huge ruts and holes. And it is about a mile long. They had tried to use pine needles to hide some of the holes on the road inside the park. That does not work. I noticed on other reviews that it looks like the road has been bad for a few years. Was implied that it was this way only because of some recent bad rains. Sites are not clean: a lot of trash all around the park. There were some very old trashy campers in the park that were not being used and looked like they had not been occupied for decades! We paid our Passport America rate for 3 of the nights but even at 50% off, it was over priced. We were told the site we were assigned would have no problem getting our stationary satellite signal: did not happen. We will never stay here again and will never recommend it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Terrific peace and quiet, in the Sandhills area of NC. Has hard packed sites and roads, shaded sites, very clean bathhouse and pool. Helpful and friendly staff. The pine needles were being raked and baled during our week-long stay. Not understanding previous posts. We thoroughly enjoyed this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Shaded spaces with full hookups and wireless internet in some areas, beautiful wooded location. With the urgently needed cleanup of the site and the office building and with the 328 holes in the driveway towards it filled up, this could have been a nearly excellent. The way it looks now (and surely since several years) 34.00 $ is much more than it is worth. We camped here in a Motorhome.
