A half dozen back in sites adjacent to a well maintained park. FHU (30 amp) level sites. Easy in and out. Bathroom/showers were clean with ample hot water. Small quite town several blocks off the highway. Very quiet. Not much to do or see but a wonderful one night stopover. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful little COE park in Emmons County, ND. I was surprised there were no previous reviews on this park. This park is strictly first come, first served. There is no camp host. It is self registration and a park ranger will come by and empty the lockbox and leave a receipt on your post. Cash or check only. There are 30 sites total with 12 having 50 amp electric hookups. The remaining 18 are primitive. There are picnic tables and fire rings at all sites. The electric sites are all wide and level with plenty of space for large rigs. There are trees between sites but they are young and did not interfere with the roof line. There is NO water, nor is there a dump station at this park. There are 2 vault toilets. Come prepared with a full tank of water and empty black and gray tanks, and supplies to last your stay. You will be several miles from shopping and restaurants. The park is adjacent to Lake Oahe and has a nice boat ramp with plenty of parking. You will be out in the middle of nowhere, which is something we like. Coming from either the north or south, take Hwy 1804 to avoid the many gravel roads prevalent in this area. We had good Verizon 4G signal and pulled in all the networks with our OTA antenna. We would definitely stay at this park if in this area again. The $5 rate was with the senior pass. We camped here in a Motorhome.
