This park was built for the oil boom, only workers live here full time, no bathrooms, no showers, no laundry. No frills. The town is very small, but overall very nice people. With the oil boom going on there are no places to stay in most of northern North Dakota. But the people (mostly men) that stay here are quiet and clean. The owner here isn't trying to rape the oil workers like most other parks around, Lignite is 7 miles from Canadian border, and is about 50 miles from any larger city. Just about every business in Lignite is closed on Sundays. Unless your a oil worker I wouldn't image wanting to stay longer than over nite. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
