We tented on site 58 for 2 nights. during the week, this park is VERY quiet with not many campers, however as Friday came the park filled up. Due to large sites, you did not feel crowded and still managed to enjoy yourself. We opted for an open site, there are many water spigots to fill up or get dishes done. RV's might need to "rough it" however, the park is worth it for privacy & sound Spotty GSM cell reception, satellite radio was no problem. We camped here in a Tent.
Hidden gem within the provincial park system. This is about 20 kms from Windsor, NS which allows you to do quick supply runs and from there only a 10 min drive to Wolfville. GSM cell phone reception is spotty but you can make a call once you find a signal. Most of the sites are open, but wooded areas are 13-17, 25-45 provide heavy shade. Sites 50-86 are the closest to the flush & showers which are well maintained. As with most provincial parks, the sites are very wide. There are a couple of swimming spots along the river within the park. We camped here in a Tent.
